The plumber, Jesse, is outstanding. He is a complete professional. He dug up my yard, replaced the PVC, and restored the yard to where you were unable to tell it was disturbed. He is a great communicator - keeps you fully informed of what is going on. I was lucky to have him fix my very bad leak.

Took several days to get an appointment. Showed up at the very end of the allotted time. I assumed they were there to do the work, hooking up the drain and installing a new faucet I already purchased. Also changing out a single plug to a four prong 220 for a new stove that replace one that was hardwired. The appointment was actually just to give a quote, although all of the tasks were fully spelled out beforehand. Then they wanted $2K+ to do this less than 2 hours work, all labor, and they needed to reschedule a second appointment to actually do the work. Also tried to do lots of upselling with annual service checks, replacing the garbage disposal, etc. I refused. Charged $69 for the call anyway. Same company also quoted me $2K to replace my hot water heater. Will never call them again.

It was a lot to do. Two people came out to do the work. They left the area very clean.

It took probably two to three hours because they had to go out to get another toilet. It was just one person that did the work. The area was left very clean. Something that I liked was that he fixed one of my toilets and told me it was under warranty. I had no idea that a toilet was under warranty. They replaced what they had to and it didn’t cost me anything for it.

Contractor quoted a price of $7400 for a new heat pump installed with new air handler. I check and found that the equipment only costs $1650 if I ordered online. I found another contractor to do the job for $3350. It took the other contract 4 hours with 3 men to do the install. I can't see how the Southern Heating and Air can think it is acceptable to charge $5750 for labor that the other contractor only charged $1700. I will not be using Southern Heating and Air for any of my heating and/or plumbing needs.

Showed up to give estimate at the time he said he would. Gave a reasonable estimate lower than the other bidder. Installed it when he said he would, and showed us informative details that will help in its maintenance. He was considerate and trustworthy.

Cost extremely high for the proposed services.

All went well. Chris the installer was prompt, polite and kept the work areas clean. A nice option from Southern Company is they will give you a quote before starting any work. The quote was $75 but included in final price if you accepted the offer. I would use their services again.

Job nicely done. This was our second time using Southern and again found Chris the install to be timely, polite and kept the work area clean. $405 may be a little high for replacing a garbage disposal but I am happy paying the price to get the job done right.

Job done right when right was needed, 99 degrees out when the AC went down. This was our 3rd time using Southern Company. It had been hot out for several weeks and I am sure lots of people needed AC work. I called and Wayron the installed was at our house within 4 hours, found the problem within minutes, fixed it and he was on his way to the next house.

My drain line was clogged which was making my ceiling leak. They came out and got it all taken care of less than an hour after I called. I've used them before and had nothing but good results. I would recommend them to anyone!

He wouldn't check the things I was concerned about. not professional at all. He also gave us estimates that was outrageous, but when we contacted Quality Air they did our whole job for $200. And I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I called this company because they'd been rated "Best of" in the local Metro paper. I first asked them not to hammer it loose, since my water pipes are in the slab, but the young fellow went ahead and hammered very hard until Istopped him. Next thing I knew, I smelled smoke, and he was out there with a torch trying to loosen it, but he'd set my vinyl siding on fire. When I ran, he got in his truck and sped off. I have receipts and photos for their damages but couldn't prove anything. Next day, my cold water pipes burst and it turned out to be cheaper to reroute them through the attic than dig up the slab. I had to pay another plumber almost $3000 for that job. Southern never apologized or took any reposnsiblity. Previously, every little job I called them out here for seemed to have an estimate of $800, like that's the only amount they knew. By "licensed," I think that means one plumber is licensed and the other workers seem to be unsupervised, untrained high school kids.

I was shocked when he came back with an estimate of $451 (including $69 for just showing up) for so simple a job. I asked why it was so expensive and Chrisreplied "...that is what the book says it should cost." As we had already gone several days without hot water, I reluctantly agreed. Chris replaced the two copper tubes atop my water heater with PEX materials plus a ball valve in under an hour. I was surprised to see how simple and quick it was and continue to wonder why it was so obscenely expensive. The materials could not have cost more than $30, so he essentially was charging over $350 dollars per hour for labor. I felt ripped off, so I asked for reconsideration of the charges through Southern's "Contact Us" feature on their web site but received no reply.

Provider was personable and arrived on time. After seeing the Kohler fixtures & notting the fact that my husband had already removed the wallboard inside the closet giving access to the bath fixtures, I was told cost would be over $1200. I said thank you, but that we would not be using them for this project as other providers had said it was at most a 4-5 hr job (@$80-90 hr) HJe handed me an invoice for the service fee. I told him I had a coupon from Angies List which waived the fee, but was told that was only good if service was provided. He called his boss, who agreed that I owed the fee. I refused to pay and sent him off with the coupon. My husband ended up installing the lavatory faucet (took him less than an hr). Hardy Plumbing installed the bath hardware for $284 a savings of over $900.

I found them to be very friendly and very meticulous. If they came up with anything else that had to be done, they stood by their quoted price. They took their time and did not rush just to get the job done on time, rather, they took enough time to make sure that the job was done correctly. They started the job on April 15th and it took them like two weeks to finish the job.

Installers were polite, punctual and professional. All work was done the same day and we've had no problems since.
