Kimball's Plumbing & Heating also does air conditioning. They are excellent. They are punctual and they call to let you know when they are ten to fifteen minutes away.

I called them about 1 pm and told them I had broken a hose spigot and water was spraying. They told me to call the city of Aiken to get the water shut off and gave me the phone number. They said they would be here this afternoon. They got here and repaired the pipe in the crawl space and replaced the spigot and were completed with the work by 3 pm. Excellent response.

Excellent service, they arrived on time, inspected and recommended that we use the existing shower valve which saved us a lot of demo (and money), and installed new fixtures. Professional service, will use them again.

Kimball's charges a flat hourly fee, very reasonable. Two different services were provided by two different service men. Both were prompt, professional, courteous and worked quickly and efficiently. The woman who answers the phones is courteous, schedules quickly and follow up on the day of service with a courtesy call that th service man is on lhis way. The work on both jobs was excellent. This is now my go to electrical service provider. I anticipate using them for plumbing services as well.

They did a great job...they were on time and explained the whole problem. They were very professional. I am going to use them for some additional work they quoted for me.

We have used them for over thirty years. If were not pleased with them we would not have used them for thirty years.

Fixed quickly and cleaned everything up before leaving. Plumber was friendly and informative!

I give them high ratings and will continue to use them in the future if needed.

When talking to Kimball's ofice, I was informed there would be an $85 charge for a service call and depending on what they found, there would be an additional charge for parts. No one said there would be another $85 charge for subsequent visits. I will agree that the tech cameout and located the problem. A part was ordered and another tech came out to install it. We were basically charged for two service calls at $85 each and $110 for a switch. When discussing the bill with Lewis, we were informed that an hour had already been "knocked off" the invoice. This was surprising since we were never told we were being charged "by the hour" at a rate of $85. I would never have agreed to pay $85 an hour. I can understand the $85 service call to locate the problem. I can also understand they didn't have the part (damper switch) to the repair at that time. But I don't believe they should have charged us another $85 to come back and install the part. And... they charged $110 for the part. I've checked the internet and damper switches for the fireplace in question appear to cost one fifth the price. We paid our bill and then wrote to customer service. Essentially, we received a letter from the "office manager" apologizing for the misunderstanding. Bottom line ... the $287.70 charge was not going to be negotiated. If you decide to hire this company, understand exactly what they are going to charge you before they perform any work. Once they do something, they don't change their bill.

When we had our service upgraded earlier this year, it required that our power be shut down for much of the day. They reported early in the day, having already scheduled the electric company and the city inspector to take care of their portion of the job. There's not much to say otherwise except that everything went off as scheduled and we had our power back on within 6 hours or so. The electric company employee who worked with the Kimball's employee, made a point (without commenting on others) of endorsing the work Kimball's does. Today, Kimball's came to add a couple of outlets. Rather than squeezing an additional breaker into our 100 amp breaker box, the employee reluctantly explained that the only way to add the outlets would be to upgrade. I respect that and take comfort that Kimball's won't wink and nod at the electrical code, because that impacts my family's safety. Also, when he gave us the written quote, he explained clearly how costs might vary, and he provided us with a reasonable range of possible charges below and above the written quote.

They do a wonderful job. I had several plumbing issues and I think I spent around $500 for it and for putting up the ceiling fan and the light fixtures and a couple of little things I think I spent around $200. They are very sweet and very nice people. They are very dependable and that is very important. I have waited for a day for people to come out and they never did but they are very dependable. They are wonderful. I would use them again in the future; in fact, they will be coming out in the next couple of weeks because I am doing some remodeling.

They came over to give us an estimate and we haven’t had them back yet. We weren’t too impressed. They were highly qualified. The guy didn’t write down an estimate. He didn’t go under the house and look. He started out at $4000 and then he started changing. The plumbing was $85 an hour on top of the $4000. Then he got up to $4500 and then he got up to $5000 by just standing in the kitchen. He didn’t say what he was planning on doing. He was just guessing without looking at anything. The guy who is working on this now looked underneath the house, went upstairs and checked everything out.

The thing I like about him is that you always get same day service. They come out right when you need them, they are very responsive.

Glenn arrived early and went right to work. I explained I was interested in above-average quality results for the replacement of two broken flanges in two separate toilets. Despite the pitfalls associated with working on plumbing in an older home Glenn never lost his commitment to doing a high quality repair. His knowledge and experience was evident throughout the job and I am very happy with the results. You can probably find someone a little cheaper than Kimball's but I don't think you can find anyone that will do such a good job.

The Kimball plumbing technicians were on time and professional, the estimate provided for the scope of work was not competitive with other plumbing contractors. If I have plumbing work in the future I will give them a chance to bid on the work but if their estimate comes back double the other contractors bid they will not get the work. My overall impression was that Kimball's did not want the job, which may be good for them if they have too much work to do or my job was too small for them.

I called and made an appointment for first thing in the morning to have my central air units serviced and one diagnosed for a potential problem. The staff was prompt and courteous about getting the appointment set up. I needed an early morning appointment so that I could go to work afterwords. I was scheduled for the first appointment of the day. On the day of the appointment, I waited.....the technician did not arrive. The office called about 20 minutes later and said that the technician would arrive at my home in about an hour. To me that was not acceptable. I had already waited 20 minutes, + I would be waiting the hour for the technician to arrive and then the time needed to do the work. I really needed to get to work sometime that day....... I feel that when an appointment is scheduled in advance, that the appointment should be kept. The call from the office was appreciated and the staff was nice and professional, but the technician should have been on time or another one should have been called to do the job if he was not available.

I ended up spending $9600.00 with another HVAC company and was not required to pay for an estimate. I had two units replaced - this is like buying a used car - imagine going to a used car dealer and they tell you they want a $140.00 just to tell you how much the used car is! You do get the $140.00 back if you decide to do business with them - most people probably just do it to recover the $140.00. What a poor business practice! If they are shady up front - wonder what you get?

It went fine and they repaired it. They were good at figuring out what the problem was and fixing it right away.

I have used them on numerous occasions; they have done plumbing work, electric wiring, they have added gas logs...etc. They have proven themselves time again. I would highly recommedn them to anyone. If anytime there has been a follow up difficulty they are always there to stand by there work. They are upfront and they always tell you wahat the exact cost will be.
