My wife and I have used Kenney's many times over the past 20 years for washers, dryers, freezers and dishwashers. Unless we are covered by a manufacturer's warranty, we do not call anyone else.

We have been using Mr. Kenney to repair our appliances for many years. He is a pleasure to work with. He is easy to talk to and listens to what you say. He is very honest; he will tell you when it's time to "put your old appliances out of misery" because the cost of the repair is just not worth it. Our experience has been there's never anything to clean up when he leaves and he guarantees his work.

He is really good. He does not do LGs. He is honest and he is a wonderful person. Everybody uses him. He is the local go to person. His prices are reasonable. I am comfortable with him and he knows his business. I have learned a lot in one service call. I would use him.

Mr. Kenney is a very responsible, professional, & honest repairman. Each time he had an appointment, he was on time, was respectful & helpful, & charged a very reasonable fee. My daughter called him to repair her dishwasher & she had the same positive experience with him.

This was a great experience. Chuck came when scheduled and diagnosed a worn out motor - not unreasonable for a 28 yr old machine. He had to order the motor and promised to reschedule when the part arrived. He came back once he had the motor but stated that he thought the problem over some more and thought that a new pulley would solve the problem. He installed the new pulley and drive belt and problem solved. This guy is extraordinarily honest. I was prepared to spend much more for a new motor yet he fixed it for 1/3 the price. He was prompt, punctual, neat, and I'll say it again extraordinarily honest. I recommend him without reservation.

Came to fix my washer, dryer and dishwasher. He checked out all three, fixed the dishwasher and was very honest about how much the washer would cost to fix. He recommended we not pay him to fix it but go somewhere to buy a replacement.

They provided a temporary repair to a stove that they indicated would need to be replaced and provided an estimate. They were very professional!! I would call upon them again!

It went very well. He was very professional and took some time to explain to me about the refrigerator. He was very informative.

Gave the system a thorough inspection. All parts/performance checked out, so he didn't know what the issue was. Recommended not to just start randomly replacing parts....which we appreciated. Quick, thorough, worked with us when we had to reschedule a couple of times due to family emergency. Would definitely use him again!

Chuck Kenney arrived as scheduled, knew exactly what the problem was, and went straight to work. He was pleasant, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. The repair was actually completed in less time than the original estimate. I am happy I found him on Angie's List.

My 10 year old dryer worked fine - then suddenly - no heat! I debated about service, but research suggested that the average life of a clothes dryer was somewhere between 15 - 18 years. I was impressed with Mr. Kenney from the start when he answered the phone himself - no recording! He came out the next day - arrived early - thoroughly inspected my dryer and gave me the bad news... Not worth fixing. I can't remember the last time I needed an appliance repair person, but I wish I had known about Mr. Kenney years ago. If anything needs attention in the next few months before he retires to South Carolina - He will be the man I call!

It was very good experience. He showed up within the time frame that I was given and the problem was corrected quickly.

My Whirlpool Duet washer began flashing different codes, stopped working and the locked door wouldn't open. I was at my wits end! Mr. Kenney came out first thing in the morning, found the problem (the pump had failed) and repaired it for a very reasonable price. I will certainly call Mr. Kenney again for any appliance repair.

We had concerns that the problem might have been a bad defrost heater or its thermostat... (which would have required removing the freezer door and the entire white plastic freezer compartmen liner to access those parts). Mr. Kenney's expert diagnosis pinpointed the problem to the main control board (where its defrost relay was not working) - and this was a far less costly repair. After this repair experience we bought a quality single-outlet UL 1449 Listed surge suppressor (840 joules, < 1 nanosecond response time, 330Vac clamping voltage, H-N, N-G, H-G protection) to hopefully prevent any potential damage to our refrigerator/freezer electronics or motor from power spikes and surges... (we've had a number of power interruptions over the 3 year period since our refrigerator was new and this may possibly have been the cause of an eventual failure of the main control board?); if the surge suppressor works it will be cheap insurance.

I left a message on the answering service regarding the Range not working. I received a call back that evening from Kenny.We scheduled an appointment to meet at the property where the range was located. I ended up running about 40 min late but he had already repaired the range and had left a bill with my tenant. I was thrilled when I arrived that it wasn't a serious repair. Very professional .

Over the years, Kenney has serviced several appliance in my home. The results have been consistent. He is honest, direct, provides good advice and repairs appliances well. The first time I called him was for a stove that would not shut off. It was an inexpensive model. Before charging for a visit, he let me know I could purchase a brand new stove for the amount it would cost to repair the existing one. Later, on a visit to fix a dryer, he correctly diagnosed that the dryer was in perfect working order but the vent needed to be cleaned. I had recently paid another company to do just that. After I called the other company back (due to Kenney's findings), they found a large clog that the first 'cleaning' had left behind. Kenney was right, the dryer worked fine after the vent was properly cleaned. He has also fixed another dryer that needed a part replaced. Kenney is quite confident of his skills - and should be. He is always thorough and professional. I have dealt with Sears and other independent appliance services. As long as Kenney is available, I will use him exclusively.

Excellent customer service with Kenney's Appliance Service! I called and left a message. Chuck called back on a timely basis. He suggested I check the float (and told me what to do to fix what he thought might be the problem). I followed his instructions, and from his help via telephone fixed the problem without him having to make a service call. Kenney's Appliance Service gave me old time, friendly and responsive customer service. He will be the first person I call the next time I have an appliance problem!

i called Mr. Kenney and told him our problem was that our dishwasher was leaking from somewhere underneath. He asked a few questions and explained that it might be the pump which would cost about $300 to repair. He left it up to me as to whether it would be worth it to have him come out and how much it would cost. I had him come out to look and it did end up involving the pump which would cost said amount. He did not pressure me either way but did look up how old the dishwasher was and tell me it had lived it's expected life span. I elected to not have it repaired but if I change my mind he would deduct the $69 I paid for the house call from the total repair bill. He also gave me a helpful tip sheet on how to get the best performance from the washer now that cleaners are phosphate free. He was very professional, helpful and honest to deal with. I would definitely use him again though I hope I won't have to.

I called and spoke to Chuck, the owner of the company, explaining the problem. He asked for the make and model number of my oven. When he looked it up, he found that the part was available and he would order it for me. He called as soon as it came in and scheduled a day/time to install it. He was prompt, efficient and very nice. While he was here, I told him about a problem I was having with my refrigerator. He told me a gasket needed to be replaced and he has ordered that for me. I will use him for any other appliance repairs that I need and would highly recommend him to others.

On the initial call he said he thought he knew what the problem was from the description provided and would bring the part. He was very courteous and certainly knowledgable. On the day of the service he arrived on time and after a quick inspection said his suspicion was correct. Within about another 15 minutes he had the repair completed. He showed me the broken parts and explained how this was one of the weaker areas of the machine. He displayed a good mix of friendliness and professionalism. I won't look anywhere else in the future for appliance repair. This is THE company for us.
