I bought a Payne heating/A/C system new 4 years ago ($3500), and it has totally broken down 13 times since then. Each time, they fix it for a short time but it breaks soon after. It has never worked depandably. I keep getting a runaround from them, and it is still not working at all. Now, they refuse to come out to my house to deal with this mess.

I have a yearly maintenance contract with Holley Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. I am happy with them. They replaced my units a couple of years ago. They come and do the annual inspection. They are pretty good at everything.

They were very responsive and professional..This was an older unit that they had some experience with, having serviced it in the past. I called and their representative met me within 24 hours to discuss options. I chose a replacement unit that they had in stock. All work was done the same week. Their installers are neat and professional. The unit has worked "as advertised" ever since with no problems.

I had to have Holley heating come out four times within a month. On the third visit, the head technician told me I had a burned out switch that needed to be replaced and that it would be $100. I held off on paying at that time. The next day the same issue occurred and I called for them to come back. That's when the technician informed me that the switch had noting to do with it and they ripped me off. I called their complaint department and explained the situation. They were very rude and hung up on me. I refuse to pay the bill and have cancelled our service contract with them.

They had a replacement unit installed the next day. Work was done quickly (4 hours), made some improvements to existing ventilation and connection to house. Couldn't have asked for better service.

Both spring and fall maintenance calls as well as the emergency repair went well,

Unit was out of warranty (18 months old) but they agreed it should not have occurred and repair done at no charge. Would have been $500-$1000 range.

They are excellent. They are $100 more than the other company but it is worth it.

Holley was recommended by someone when we moved into this area.

Our ceilings were damaged when new air return was installed, but Holley paid to have the ceilings repainted. Later, during a seasonal maintenance, a technician applied a coil cleaner improperly which caused a chemical reaction in the system and a noxious gas was vented through the vents in our bonus room causing major health issues. We contacted Holley's HVAC supplier and upon inspection, the system had to be replaced and a new drain pan installed due to the chemical reaction. Ductwork had to be cleaned by a professional subcontractor following the incident. Holley paid for these services, however, I had to contact Carrier and the HVAC Commercial supplier rep on several occasions to get Holley to make it right. I maintained a service agreement with Holley Heating and Air and the last visit was on 07/21/11. When the service appointment was scheduled, the technician said he was extremely busy and didn't have time to service both units. He asked to reschedule the appointment. Upon calling on Monday to reschedule, I was told that Holley would no longer service my account even though I had a maintenance agreement with them because they "didn't make any money" on me and they had so many problems with my equipment. They literally "walked away" from a paid service contract. I complained to Carrier Corporation and Carrier sent me cash vouchers for the cost of my service contract with Holley Heating and Air and referred me to another Carrier HVAC contractor in my area.

Holley replaced our 10 years old AC/Furnace with a new 5 Ton Carrier SER16.5 unit. The entire process was professional and pleasant. They showed some flexibility in pricing and configuration resulting in a very cost effective installation. Since Holley is our Heating and Air Service provider of record they have a multi-year excellent track record with us.

Their price was excellent as we got a comparable bid from Spartan Mechanical and it didn't even come close. They removed the old unit along with the concrete pad it sat on and replaced the concrete pad as well as install the new unit. Everything that was promised was delivered and done with great professionalism. In addition they inspected the crawl space and did some repairs on the ductwork as well as moving our thermostat to the backside of the wall it was currently on to enable a more efficient gauge with no additional charge. We have used Holley Heating since we purchased our home 7 years ago and have always been pleased with the service. In addition to normal semi-annual check ups on our heating and ac unit we also purchased new gas logs and again were pleased with the installation. I would highly recommend Holley Heating and Air Conditioning.

We have used Air Masters for HVAC for many years. In November 2011 they closed and gave their client list to Holley Heating and Air. Air Masters had told us that our air conditioning might not make it through another summer. When Holley came for our winter tune-up, I asked the technician for a quote. He said that somebody would get back to me. The next time I went to the attic I discovered that the furnace was not together and the light fixture was broken. When Holley came to put the furnace back together, I asked the technician for a quote. He said that somebody would get back to me. When I did not hear from Holley, I made a telephone call. I was told that somebody would either come by our house and give us a quote or they would mail us a quote. It is now almost Christmas and we have still not heard. I was looking at Angie’s List for Heating and Air Conditioning when I saw Holley and decided to give my opinion. Addedum on 1/6/12: I am here to testify that Angie's List works! Within a reasonable amount of time, I received a phone call from Holly Heating and A/C to set up an appointment. We were given a quote within tolerable limits of the original quote. Now the ball is in our court whether to be proactive in replacing our HVAC before it fails or waiting for the system to fail completely.

They have been wonderful. I first started with them because I noticed their trucks on the road are immaculate and I figured their service might also be. I was right. The people who come have their names on, they are clean and conscientious about putting on their booties in my house. Their service technicians who come out don't mind if I trail along with them; or they can be left alone. They have never tried to cheat me and I can't say that about some other companies.
