Refinished our wooden front door. Sanded, stained, and sealed. Excellent job, and the door looks brand new! Nick keeps in touch throughout his work, keeps a clean work space, and is always on time. Will definitely hire again for other painting needs!

Nick, owner of Gallagher Painting and Restoration did an amazing job restaining our porch and staining/sealing the outdoor deck that we added on last fall. Nick is professional, responsive & knowledgable when it comes to the work we were requesting. After meeting with Nick, explaining our needs, getting an estimate, choosing a quality, lasting product (suggested by Nick) & picking the color, we sat down again to sign a contract. Nick went thru the contract explaining the work to be done & all that was included in the price (cleaning, preparation, staining, clean up, etc). Once we had a signed contract Nick communicated daily on the plan. Work days were based on good weather to ensure the proper temperatures for applying the product. Nick, showed up when he said he would & was very professional. The transformation of our porch/deck was truly amazing. Quality job from a reputable & trustworthy contractor. Ignore lattice, will be replacing in spring with landscaping.

Repair and painting of large kitchen ceiling from water damage. Also repair and painting of master bath ceiling. Work very professionally done by painter who performs quality work and takes pride in the work. Would use again or recommend highly to others.

Canâ t recommend Nick enough! We hired him to paint the interior walls of our living room/kitchen/foyer area and he did a wonderful jobâ the walls are truly flawless. He not only did a great job painting, he also sanded down rough areas, repaired small cracks, and cleaned up at the end of each day. He was timely and very personable. I was nervous about inviting a stranger into my home for a few days but Nick was trustworthy and treated our home as if it were his own. 10/10 recommend! We hired Nick, owner of Gallagher Painting and Restoration to restore the drywall as well as paint our entry foyer and hallway. Our home is older and his drywall repairs made the walls and ceiling look like new. We appreciate his attention to detail. I cannot recommend a better contractor than Nick from Gallagher Painting and Restoration. After a nightmare experience using someone I found on Angi who was not even a licensed contractor, I was so fortunate to find Nick just searching online for contractors. Nick has the most incredible work ethic. He replaced all floors with wood laminate, he painted the home fixed cracked ceilings, replaced blinds, power-washed house decking, and fixed things he found along the way. He is kind and honest and meticulous. I live in a different state and hired him to work on a disabled relative house in SC and he made it easy. His work is meticulous and he is honest, trustworthy, and a consummate professional. I only wish I could find someone like him where I live. I cannot say enough about how easy he made it for me being so far away and under unusual circumstances. There are no amount of stars that would be too much to give this extremely talented, hardworking, and knowledgeable contractor.

Nick worked hard to accomodate my timeline and was able to finish a little earlier than planned. He was thorough, careful in my home, and respectful of everyone's time. In addition, my kitchen cabinets look amazing!!

Nick is very professional and knowledgeable. His advice on the stains we were going to use saved us headaches. He painted a very high porch ceiling. We used clear stain on the tongue & groove and white paint on the rafters. It came out perfect. Too bad I can't upload a photo of it on this site.

If you are looking for a professional painter, Nick Gallagher is the best. We hired Nick to paint the ceiling and walls of our dining room. He came out to estimate the project, and I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He provided an estimate and a date for starting the project and outlined exactly what step would be included in his work. He was prompt and polite. For our project, he fixed small cracks in the corners of our tray ceiling, sanded the ceiling and wall, taped off the trim and windows, and covered the wood floors with protective paper. He blocked the entry ways with plastic. He was very patient while I selected the correct color and worked quickly and quietly. He uses a high end residential paint and I did not notice any paint fumes while he was painting or when he had finished. He also painted all the trim in the room! Before he left, he thoroughly cleaned the room by vacuuming all the plantation shutters, floor, etc. All of this work was completed in three days!! I highly recommend Nick Gallagher Painting - a fabulous experience!
