Mr. Beck did come in a timely manner on a Saturday and was at our house for about 3 hours. He never once discussed the price when he arrived, he just went straight to work. He put in a new 1.5 hp well pump and then air was added to the expansion tank. He charged $2,750 cash or check only. Then when asked if he would take the old well pump, he informed us that he could not take it because the trash dump would charge him but that we needed to take it to the trash because they would not charge us. The well does work now, but the price he charged for the service he provided does not match.

Mr. Bill arrived promptly. Checked the well pump. Saw ants had shorted the well pump and fixed it. They were very Proffesional and definitely knew what they were doing. Literally, he diagnosed the problem in 5 minuets. Definitely, happy with this company.

Beck's fixed the leak and installed several other bits that were heavier duty than had been installed earlier in the year by a plumber (whose parts failed). Very pleased with the work Beck's did on my well

I was really pleased and would use Beck's Well Drilling again if the occasion arises if and when I need a well repair.
Description of Work: The well head of my submersible pump-equipped well was spewing water. I only discovered this after realizing my power bill was higher than it should have been (and I'd started to notice that the pump was running when it didn't need to). Once I pulled up the fake rock over the well I saw how major the leak was. The old cycle stop valve and the pressure switch had been repaired 4/13/16 by a plumber from Bentley's Plumbing. I called Beck's Well Drilling and they arrived sooner than they'd originally stated. They had to pull the well casing, and replaced the failed cycle stop valve (failed in <7 months after it was installed) with a new higher quality metal unit. Adjusted everything, cleaned up and all was back in order within an hour or so of their arrival.

My well quit working last summer and Beck was the only guys willing to come straight out, and they happen to have the pump in stock also, which I couldn't find anywhere in town. So I told them to come on out. 1st mistake: Then I asked them to speak with my home warranty company (bought the house the month before) to make sure they were willing to cover it...Second mistake! I don't know if they took advantage of that fact (that I had a warranty), or if they over charge everyone. They charged me over $3000 to pull and replace my pump/motor only.... not to drill a new well, just to replace the pump! They didn't replace the contrloller, any piping, any wiring, just pump, motor, and tape! Once they finished I took my part numbers so I could register my warranty with the manufacturer, only to find out that I could buy and ship it all to my door for under $900. I contacted the owner to express my unhappiness, he basically told me that I could order my own, wait for it to ship, and then pay someone else to install it.... or just enjoy the water he just provided me! Thanks Beck, lesson learned!!

Called provider on Sunday. They could have sent someone out on Sunday, but there would have been an additional charge. We opted to have them come on Monday morning instead. Owner was very curtious on phone and walked us through steps we could take if we needed water before Monday morning. Come Monday morning the serviceman was right on time (maybe even a few minutes early). He was very polite and answered all our questions and gave us a full list of options. He also took the time to explain various things about wells we did not know. He let us know exactly what was a must do and what could wait if we wanted to. He explained to us, how to maintain the new well tank and check the PSI and adjust if necessary. I can not say enough nice things about the service or the professionalism. My only complaint was the bill. I had done my research online before he arrived. So, I had a pretty good idea of what I thought it should cost. Everything I researched indicated that the bill should have been around $400 to $450, but instead my bill ran $557. The shock must have registered on my face, because the serviceman was quick to point out they are not the cheapest company around, but he assured me that they only used quality new parts and didn't believe in cutting corners. When I look back at it, I think the additional money was well worth it. Afterall, I could have wasted an entire day comparing prices and getting the run around. Or I could have sat waiting for hours for someone who was late. Needless to say I have decided my time is more valuable than that. So, should my well need repaired or serviced again, I will likely give my business to them again.
