chimney caps, chimney repair, masonry, home remodeling
 + 2 moreI met David through his wife, who breeds yorkies, maltese, shih tzu and bichon frise. I had gone to their house to scout for a pup. While talking to her, I found out that her husband, David Overholt, is a mason. This was great news to me because I had just received an estimate way over my budget for chimney repair. He showed me the chimney he built in their home -- a stone chimney with incredible craftsmanship -- as well as a portfolio of photos of his work. He also built the sunroom in their home which has a gorgeous A-frame roof and lots of windows. He then set-up an appointment to come look at my chimney and within the week had completed the repairs and returned my chimney to its former glory. His work is impeccable.
Description of Work: Wow! I am so impressed by the work of David Overholt. A recent storm toppled my chimney and I got two estimates on the repairs. David's estimate came in $3000 less than the other estimate. He set-up a time to make the chimney repair within the week. He came to my house with his assistant, they built scaffolding around the remaining part of the chimney, rebuilt the top of the chimney, and outfitted the chimney with a new flue and a beautiful cap with screen. The work began promptly at 8:00 a.m. and was completed by 1:00 p.m. Amazingly, David used brown bricks that match exactly my original chimney. We have already discussed future projects (such as a kitchen remodel) that he could do for me. I'm delighted to recommend him to you because he is honest, kind, professional and he really knows his trade.
