IT went great. They were professional. They answered all my questions. They explained their rationale behind their advice. When we do in fact need to replace the roof, we'll call Moonworks. They seem reliable and trustworthy to me.

He gave us an estimate, but couldn’t do anything for what we could spend and the roof needed much more work. However, I thought the rep did a very good job of telling us what the deal was.

They were informative and responsive but pushy with trying to get me to do all my windows.

What an incredible company !! From start to finish, i was amazed at their enthusiasm from day one. Moonworks was kind and considerate to all of my needs . Our roof was 20 years old, bad shape but wasn't leaking . My home is so old it was not insulated either, which means higher heating costs for years and years, and still feeling cold inside. I wanted our bedrooms insulated, which is above our garage, which meant the floor was always freezing ! I decided to go for the dense -packed TrueSoft cellulose insulation, wow !!! what a difference !! my daughter is not running her portable heater in her room anymore!!! saving me $$$ on electricity !! so it did work! I also chose to have the floor of our bedrooms insulated with the dense pack True-soft cellulose insulation. Wow incredible , my feet are nice and warm now !! HUGE difference . I also have an attic, with many personal items that needed to be protected from the heat and cold. We agreed that the attic needed to be upgraded. I decided to go with the A5-1 SuperAttic Conversion System. Air seal perimeter and installed a 4" SilverGlo, to isolate attic from exterior conditions. Oh my Gosh, it used to be freezing up there , now i can go up there in my pj's and its just like I am in the living part of my house ! In regards to the guys that did the work , AWESOME AWESOME !! On time, bright and early and eager to get going . polite and pleasant too. The insulation supervisor had me go out to see the work being done , because once its covered up you can't tell they actually put anything in , great idea. The insulation in the attic required them to move my stuff from side to side to do the insulation , nothing was broken or damaged, they took great care for my belongings. Awesome. In regards to the roofer guys, on time bright and early , and eager to get going on the task at hand. wow !! I told them about my plants and they were very careful not to damage them. They work very fast and efficiently too, great teamwork. they were done with the whole roof and cleanup by 1 p.m. AWESOME !! And they did my shed to match the house to boot!!! I would definitely recommend this company for ALL your energy needs . I Look forward to working with them on Vinyl siding as well. The money I spent , will give me great comfort & SAVINGS for years to come !! Thank you MOONWORKS for helping me to be comfortable , and I am saving money in the long run!! My experience was just okay. Scheduling went well. The technican inspected my roof from the ground and I thought they would get on the actual roof. I would have liked to see a little more detail in my appointment. They left behind a report of the inspection for me.

Was told that the product would be available in about 5 weeks and they would call for an installation date. Six weeks later we received a phone call - not for an installation date, but to tell us that the interior finish (oak)that we ordered for the slider was not available. No explanation given for why it took so long to discover this "problem". So we agreed to reorder the slider (all white, which was less expensive than the original), which would require a new work order. More time passed and we were finally able to sign the work order on 1/9/13. At that time we told the rep that we were very unhappy with the way our purchase had been handled (perhaps mishandled would be a better term). He said "I'm, sorry". On February 3, 2014, I sent a letter to Jim Moon, the President of Moonworks, chronicling the events and timetable and clearly stating that my husband and I were thoroughly disgusted and frustrated by the lack of responsiveness and professionalism by his company. On February 6th, I received a phone call saying that our product had been received and they would like to schedule an installation. Installation was completed on 2/10/14; 15 weeks after signing the original order and paying a substantial deposit. The only good thing was that the installers did a terrific job. Never received an acknowledgement from Jim Moon. Never received an apology from anyone in upper management. It is quite apparent that no one cares and customer satisfaction is the least of their concerns. My husband and I have worked with many contractors over the years i.e. roofing, new kitchens, siding, paving, major plumbing and electrical. This experience was one of the worst we have encountered. We take some responsibility by not getting a couple of estimates from different companies, but thought we could rely on such a high recommendation from Angie's List. I would not recommend this provider

They were good and very professional.

They were responsive and helpful at every turn. Everything they did looks great!

They cleaned up pretty well in the room where they used a saw to make the new wooden window sill. Quality of the windows they use is questionable - still some draft between the sills.

Appointment was changed last minute. The salesman that came was ridiculously rude and unprepared. He started off by insulting the new windows that I did have (not the ones associated with the job). His sales pitch included insults and huddling around an iPad that had to be plugged into the wall because he hadn't charged it. When the estimate came across i was told that i had to decide right there to get the "special" rate. And according to him, since my wife wasn't home I wasn't man enough to make the decision on my own. When I told him that a $4000 purchase would require some thought he told me that I must have deep pockets if I am willing to throw away the savings he was offering if I purchased same day. When I asked him the price for basement windows his reply was "those are expensive" but would not give me a quote. There was much more that went into this being a horrible experience but I don't want to waste more of my time with this company. I reached out to try and salvage some sort of working relationship (possibly with another salesman) and was told that someone in management would reach out to me regarding my issues. A few months later and I'm still waiting...

It worked out great. They did a great job. They actually sealed the windows for me. I paid him $160 the first time and $400 the second time. Two windows came out to be about $300 each. They did what they promised. They told me what the real prices would be but the way they do that is high quality. The special is a really great saving for me because I saved $600. The way they installed the windows is easy to open and close. The windows the other company installed were hard to close. I also want them to replace my old roof. They do give 30% discount for existing customers. They gave me a choice of 3 windows and out of 3 choices, I chose the cheapest. Out of those choices, all of them comes sealed.

The service went well. The guys were courteous and made sure to clean up after themselves.

Scheduled them to come and they came on day agreed on. The supervisor told me that my gutter helmet installed by them was not totally correct so he actually corrected the issue before running the wires inside the gutter so no visible signs of wires. These went all the way down the down spouts also so nothing could freeze. I've used these for two seasons including this year ANC so far no ice dams. Very happy so far.

This was promoted as a roof inspection/fix deal but turned out to be a bait-and-switch sales call. A salesman, not a roofer, showed up and wasted an our of our time explaining how his company would not do anything short of a major reroofing job. This experience has soured me permanently on Angie's List.

Fully unfulfilling, they will answer the phone but they don’t deliver anything.

I previously posted a review about my experience with getting an estimate from Shaun before I purchased the Angie's List deal. I was told that I must purchase a minimum of three windows. After I posted, someone from Moonworks (I think his name was Bill) called and said that I had been given the wrong information and that with the deal, there was no minimum. The coupon had expired, but I was given the opportunity to schedule installation at the deal price. I did that and Jim and Jim Jr. arrived promptly on the installation date. They were a pleasure to deal with - professional and polite. They did an outstanding job of installing my windows and cleaned up when they were done. I would use Moonworks again but ONLY if Jim and Jim Jr. were able to perform the services.

Salesman (George), work manager (Eric) and crew all very good guys to work with. Work just completed today so I'll see how windows hold up but the process of buying and installing went very well.

I was assuming the "Big Deal was for a roof inspection and minor repair of a couple of shingles. When the service provider showed up he mentioned personally to me that the replacing of the shingles would require staging and he advised me to call a local handyman to to it. He said basically he was there to sell me a roof.

The quoted price - after the $800 credit we'd purchased - came out to approx. $650 for one small attic window. I cannot help but feel that the value of this credit is misleading a best. The company was pleasant, but made no real effort to rectify the situation or compromise, and seemed dismissive of our concerns. This turned out to be a huge, frustrating waste of time. I would not recommend them.

They were very prompt and the followed up right away, every time they said they were going to call they called at the time they said they were going to call. Sometimes people say they are going to call you back and they don't do it for a day or two but they were right on the ball. We had done some research and their price was right in the same ball pack or a little bit lower than the other things that we looked at. The service was wonderful. Their responsiveness was wonderful. They were beyond punctual, you don't see that very often. When they said they were going to be here at 8 o'clock they were here at 8 o'clock. They were very professional.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were terrible! It was very gimmicky and very pushy. It wasn't what I was expecting at all. It took a long time. They came both to my home. They were almost there for 2 hours. I just wanted a quote. I didn't want all this talk and stuff. It was just really annoying and I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. I didn't even use the coupon at all. I just wanted to get my money back because I'm not going to use them.

Excellent. Were always on time, kept us informed & explained the job in full detail. It was a pleasure to do business with everyone at MOONWORKS.

They were extremely good to work with.

Replaced patio slider doors. Came to give pricing and take measurements as everything is custom built. Arrived as scheduled and did the installation in 1 day. I live an hour away and they were recommended by friends who had their windows replaced.

moonworks sent a rep up to evaluate what services they would do for the roof eval. with a roofer to come a week later and do the work. when the roofer came a week later he told me the rep did not know what he was talking about - no roofing experience and i had the worst roof he had ever seen and would need a new roof. i would be lucky if it lasted the winter. he didn't even dare put a ladder on it. as a result, their office promised to refund the angies list $149. i am not and will not use moonworks. | | | | | | | |
