I scheduled an appointment for October 13th back in July. The rep told me that Saturday appointments were difficult to get, and I knew I would be home on the Columbus Day holiday - so I paid a deposit and waited 3 months to have the work done. We agreed that the work would start between 8:30 and 9:00 AM and that it would take 2 - 3 hours. I received a call today, October 10th to confirm the date. When I mentioned the start time, the caller said that the workers would probably be 1-1/2 hours late, because they had a meeting that morning. Also, she said the work would take 3 - 4 hours. When I told her I had plans for later in the day, and was not willing to give up most of my holiday for the work, she replied that some people just let the workers in and leave them. If I had wanted to do that, I would not have waited 3 months for a morning when I would be home. I asked why they would wait until 3 days before the appointment to let me know they were not going to make the scheduled time and she said she did not know. I asked who else I could speak with and she said she was there and she was new. She offered to have her supervisor call me if he was in on Monday (the day the work was supposed to happen). She wasn't sure, however, that he would be in on Monday. I asked if I could reschedule, and would they do the work on a Saturday. She said she didn't know and that Saturdays were available only if someone volunteered to work. I canceled the appointment and will be requesting a refund of the money I paid.

Outstanding work. Located the source of an elusive roof leak and repaired right there on site. Company rep along with 2 workers. 1 hr of work. Inspected entire roof and made small repairs and adjustments. No hustle to purchase a new roof - honest assessment. I'd hire these guys in a second.

They came out and inspected my roof initially. I had a couple problems in particular I wanted to have addressed-- a roof leak and also an issue with my gutters. They said they would get back to me with an estimate a couple days later but never did. After three weeks of my outbound phone calls, they responded saying they would need to come back out and do measurements then give me an updated estimate. Again, a week or so went by where I called them, left voicemails, etc. I finally sent a text letting them know I would be moving on from using them since we could never get anything accomplished.

This kind of 150$ roof work is clearly going to come with a sales pitch. I was pleased that they really did spend some time looking things over and patching a few things. They did not say "you need a new roof", but rather, made it clear to me where the roof has issues, and where it is fine, how long it might last, and a couple of specific problem areas (where they think it probably is leaking, but we are not seeing the leak as it is over a wall space inside the house. I liked these guys. They're definitely not an inexpensive roofing company, so they won't beat everyone else's price, but they really did spend some valuable time. I feel I got my 150$ worth of repairs, as well as being generally much better informed about the condition of the roof, and specific problem spots.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for a roof inspection. I've had some minor concerns about a potential leak and was hoping for a professional assessment of my roof overall. After purchasing, Moonworks called to schedule the appointment - in a fairly short window of time. They arrived, explained what they'd be doing and spoke to me as they checked everything out. We think they found the nail hole that might be the cause of the leak I had noticed, and filled it in. They gave the roof a full 'once over' and patched up a few shingles made sure the sealing around some pipes and windows were in tact. Other than commentary on the workmanship of the existing roof, they told me that I didn't have any immediate issues with my current roof but suggested that I reinspect it in 3 - 5 years. I really appreciated that they weren't giving me a hard sell on a replacement - especially since they noticed that the original roof looks like it might have been installed by amateurs. I was very satisfied with the inspection and the feedback they provided. I'd recommend Moonworks to others - they were certainly professional and I feel confident that I got some good advice. Also appreciated that they looked for potential problems, and possibly solved one area of concern.

Emil was our rep and was very nice. He described all the work we would be having done and gave us a price that day. We thought about it and compared it to other prices we got and decided to go with Moonworks. Our contract was split between the roof and the rest of the job. We dealt with Rebecca for setting up the roof installation. She was wonderful, . She answered all my questions without a problem and made sure I had her number if I had any more. She called us on a Thursday and said she had a cancellation for the next day and would we be interested in having the roof done. Of course, we said yes. She said the men would be here around 8:00 the next morning. The roofers (at least 10 of them) got here around 7:50 and never stopped until they were completely done at 3:45. They were polite and courteous and they all knew exactly what they were doing. When they were done, they cleaned up every bit of their mess. I didn't find a single nail or piece of roofing anywhere. They explained what they did and the few changes (for the better) they had made. The new roof looks amazing! I got a call that afternoon from Kiana to schedule the rest of the job. She said the men would be here between 3:00 and 5:00 the next Tuesday. I went out for a while on Tuesday and got back to the house at 12:45 and they were here already with the ladders against my house. There were two men and one of them said another was on his way. These two men were great, they knew what they were doing and did it quickly and efficiently. These two men were very aware that I have a dog and were careful to close the gate when they went in and out. I went outside at one point to see how it was going and saw they were done with the fascia and were starting on the gutters. When I looked up, there were boards that were clearly not replaced. I asked the man who was there first about it. He started to explain that they weren't part of what we paid for. I explained that I thought we were getting all new boards. The new man chimed in with "you got new fascia, that's not fascia, it's rake board" with an attitude. We are not specialists when it comes to this sort of thing. I didn't know there was a difference and he made me feel kind of stupid. We thought all the boards would be replaced. I called Moonworks and talked to Mike. He confirmed what I had been told and asked why we would want the boards replaced. I told him I thought they were part of the package and that the ends were rotted. He said he would replace the rake ends for no fee. That was nice of him but we still have four boards that my husband will have to at the very least paint. Clean up with these guys didn't go as well as with the roofers. I found many nails around the house, especially in my backyard where my dog plays. I would highly recommend the roofers and with one exception, the gutter guys were good too. When you are getting the estimate, make sure everything you want is included on the drawing and that fascia boards only go where gutters go!

The energy evaluation was excellent--very thorough. The recommendations were reasonable and cost effective. The windows were measured and installed. All windows fit perfectly, look great, and are easy to clean. Installers were prompt and worked efficiently. Very knowledgeable people in all aspects of the job.

They were come right out after purchasing the deal and there were no additional costs. They did a slight repair around a vent. Everything worked out fine.

We loved our sales pitch and everything that we were promised sounded too good to be true but we asked all the questions and got everything in writing so moved forward. First off, I required proof of insurance and that was hard to get. Then they just never contacted me about doing the site visit that was supposed to happen. On the day of repairs, our sales guy showed up on time and went up into the attic to do some insulation work that he was doing which was great. He told me a couple hours later I'd talk to the roof guys. They showed up but no one came to the door to tell me they had arrived or what to expect. Suddenly they tarp the house and I end up stuck. When I finally find a hole out a little while later and am walking around the yard no one says anything to me, which is just rude at this point. I finally find the sales guy again who gives me a quick update and I find out that the dumpster they got doesn't fit in my driveway (again, no site visit was done). They keep working and the tarps fall down causing all sorts of garbage in my yard but I'm hopeful it will pick up. I'm sitting back inside in the basement and hear a crash. A few minutes later after no one comes to talk to me I go upstairs just to make sure it was clear - but they had put a hole through my kitchen ceiling! I can see daylight and they are still working! Long story short, they created a 2x3 ft hold in my kitchen, a 2ft large crack in my bedroom and a 3 ft smaller crack in my office. None of which they took active ownership of and I had to tell THEM about it. Apparently the workers they hire aren't as customer focused as they promised. After 2 long/upset calls to the corporate headquarters they do get a dumpster and "finish" their work. The site crew, with the sales guy, leave without ever doing a final walk around with me or letting me know they are "done." I do my walk around and find metal under the back deck and poor quality work, including failing to hook up the new bathroom exhaust fan that they just installed! The next day I talk to the guy at headquarters again who tells me he'll look into and I find out that the foreman who was AT my house knew that items were missed because they didn't bring the right type of nails for the trim and they forgot to put back on my gutter covers (the metal I found). Apparently they knew they'd need to be back - but were they going to tell me this? Who knows! Overall - beware! The sales pitch is fantastic but to get it all you'll have to do a ton of work and kick up a stink to get what they promise.

Two years ago I had gutter helmets installed on my gutters, at the time I had just finished spending a day cleaning out the gutters and was not looking forward to doing it again. At a home show we came across this product and scheduled a consult for a quote. A week or two later their sales person came to our home talked about the services Moonworks provides, their commitment to their customers, and gave us a quote for replacing a damaged gutter and installation of the helmets for about $2000. We decided to go ahead with the project even though it was more expensive than expected to keep that task from needing to be done again. A few days later the project was scheduled and done in a day, great so far. Six months later our roof sprang several leaks and we needed to replace it, to maintain the warranty we needed to have Moonworks come out to remove and reinstall the system. We called to get that handled, and no one was available to answer the call so it dropped to the voice mail box, left a message and no call back. A few days later I called back and it is the same story, the next day I got a person and the removal was scheduled. I figured this was a fluke and they may be in the middle of a busy season. This was the beginning of our issues with Moonworks, I got the bill and it was different that what I was quoted. After several calls I finally got them to adjust the price to what I was told. Over this winter the helmets were horrible for our home due to the open air space in the gutter any melting froze on them immediately causing major ice damming, large icicles, gutter sagging. Upon getting a few warm days in a row and the snow and ice melting we noticed several pieces of the system popped out of their holders which lifted shingles or bent the system. In one location the system tore out and was completely bent back. Since we were getting another storm that evening I fixed the pieces to prevent damage to the roof. Once spring came I called Moonworks to get them to come out and repair the issues and give me a quote for installing the heating coils to prevent this issue from reoccurring. They wanted to send out a sales person to give me a quote, I asked if they could just do it over the phone given they had all the details from my helmet installation. That quote was for $2500 which is ridiculous given that I can buy that length of heating coil for $200, and I would still need to call in an electrician to wire in the circuit. I recently called and asked them to remove the system since it did not work for us. I was transferred to one of the managers, Mike DeCosta, he mentioned the quote seemed a bit high so he wanted to send out a sales person to make sure everything was correct and that they would cover repairing the system under warranty. The sales person came out, checked things over and gave me a price of $1300 for repairs and $2500 for installing the heating system. I told the sales person I would not be doing that and asked what it would cost to get the system removed, he knew the price had changed so he said he would get back to me. I did not hear back so I called in to get them to get the price to remove them scheduled the removal. I attempted to discuss the situation with Mike DeCosta about the issues, my disappointment in the system and the lack of consistency in information getting relayed. I was also hoping that they would do something to try to make a happier customer since their was other work I was considering getting done from them. After 4-5 attempts to call I have yet to receive a call back from Mike DeCosta or any other manager. I did receive a call back from the sales person apologizing profusely for the poor customer service after I explained the situation to him. I explained that my issue is not with him, but the main office, if he leaves I still need to deal with them and they are the ones who have been notorious for lack of followthrough. It is very sad that a place which touts their customer service as being top notch could lie so badly about it. They have lost my business and the business of two friends who were looking for getting gutters and debris prevention installed and have consultations scheduled the next few weeks.

No work was performed because I decided I didn't want the deal.

It didn't go very good. After they came out they didn't send estimate on roof nor did they patch roof near chimney. Follow up phone call that said tech would pay special attention to apply sealant near chimney, and didn't do any work on it. The guy talked a great game but wasn't very impressed with the service.

They visually inspected room for missing shingles, etc. Also checked for proper venting of attic space, checked and sealed any nail heads, checked for any signs of cracks or leaking points, sealed any cracks around vent pipes, inspected chimney, sealed chimney flashing if needed, checked for ice dam damage due to clogged gutters, visually inspected around skylights for cracks and did a general inspection of the roof.

It went well and other than longer than anticipated delays for materials to arrive, it was a good experience. My one request was that that installers wait for my security company to arrive to re-install the window contacts; they spoke to one another with me right there but the installers left before my security company arrived. the cost to re-install the window contacts was twice what I had expceted because the contacts were reinstalled wrong.l So I had to pay for the security company to uninstall the contacts on the new windows then reinstall them properly. it was a big hit after having spent approx. $900 for the entire procedure.

Quality of the windows appear to be very good. Installation was very good as well. The time it took to get the windows delivered was a little to long. Overall very satisfied.

No complaints, they gave me more than I originally expected! Windows work easily and are very attractive...I am happy in particular with the outside appearance - very clean and professional.

In the end, it worked out fine. The people were very nice and very friendly. The first person who came out was more of a salesperson to look at the roof. He tried to sell me a new roof. The second person who came out fixed it. The deal was to inspect it and fix any minor problems. They ended up sending the second person to look at the roof and fix the minor problem. That was what i was looking for. The minor repair work turned out fine. I had a fine interaction with them. I had no problems with them. I would not use them again because they were more expensive than they needed to be.

My husband really appreciated that they stuck to the service we asked; they didn't do hard sales or push a lot of services on us.

It was fine, although the first meeting was actually with a sales rep, which I didn't expect and didn't really want. When the actual technician came out to complete the service he told me my roof was essentially fine, so no significant work was needed. He did, however, repair a dangling downspout for me which was very much needed and appreciated.

Very professional in processing appointments. He only gave the advice and recommendations, but there was absolutely no pressure in selection or sales. Outlined the execution of project very clearly, and prompt followup on the next steps. The windows were installed, sealed perfectly and no debris left. The only feedback for improvement to this company I could give is to advice the service men to wear shoe covers before working on the wooden floor or cover all their working paths with rags, because their shoe are very harsh to walk around the interior bare wooden floor. I had to spend quite some time in cleaning up after.

The deal went well and the project I had them do ended up a lot more than $199. They did a good job. They took about 6 weeks for the whole project because they had to come out and measure and check after they did the job. The agent came in and I showed him the windows that had to be replaced. He did some measurement and gave me options and fabricated some windows.

The work was performed in terrible weather -- very cold, between snow storms. The teams were prompt, polite and worked hard to get the job finished before another snow storm hit. I did have to have them come back and remove debris -- some of which was due to a misunderstanding (I had told them I would take some of the cedar shakes for kindling and they left an enormous pile) and some due to snow coverage. I found the office to be responsive and helpful. Their salesman had sold me new gutters, but the technicians who came to install them said that they only needed to clean, seal and "tune" them -- for much less money. I appreciated their honesty.
