Description of Work: replaced old roof. replaced old gutters and downspouts the next day.I was told the job would be done around july 4. they cancelled a few appointments because they didn't have the roof shingles yet.When they came in august the delivery truck delivered enough shingles for 1.5 houses.Two people measured the roof on separate days. Did they compare notes?Enough shingles in July?

Description of Work: They checked and cleaned my Gutter Helmuts for fre as per warranty, installed all mew gutters and downspouts and replaced some rotted shingles at the roof line.. The very next day was a torrential downpour with one underground drain bubbling up resulting in water flooding down the walkout bulkhead stairs. They responded STAT, disconnecting the downspout and rerouting the flow above ground. That too was gratis.

Description of Work: I'd purchased the Roof Maintenance Package for $149.00. The service was delivered as advertised. We knew of a leak in the roof along a dormer, and the techs sealed it up. I can't say for sure that the repair solved the problem, since we haven't had a good rain since then, but I honestly expect no problems at all. I was shown the before and after photos of the work, and the repair looked fine. The Project Specialist did sit with me and tell me about some of the other services Moonworks could offer, as well as about the philosophy of the company. I've read other comments here about the package being more of a "sales call", but I found the discussion very informative, as well as useful. One of the reasons I like the Big Deals is that they give me the opportunity to "interview" various companies to see if I'd like to work with them again later on larger projects. I was satisfied with this package, and the Project Specialist and his crew were a pleasure to work with. I'll definitely ask Moonworks for an estimate when it comes time to replace the entire roof.

Description of Work: 12/19/13 sales person came in and agreed to buy 5 windows at $4745.- On 4/5/14 same person came in and told me he did not consider town building code and it costs abt $2000 more. He told me to share this extra cost half and half. I rejected his offer and I did not pay any more but I considered his position and agreed to pay $500.- He said window come in 3-4 weeks. On May 27 I sent e-mail to him but no reply. I called the office today but supervisor has left and tell me call the office on Monday. I told the office lady that you should call me on Monday. |In late October 1st sales person came in and left very rough estimate. I called this 1st person but he did not reply my phone messages. |It took more than 6 months but I did not receive any window nor explanations. I felt their price is high and not clear how my coupon works to their estimate. I tried to wait to send you this review until I see 5 new windows but I decided to do it because office lady told me to call them on Monday.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company for: $149 for Roof Maintenance Package. The 1st employee who came out was a sales employee and tried to sell me a roof in about 3 hours. All I wanted was some maintenance done to my roof and I was not interested in a one. He gave me an estimate for a new roof, which was a bit expensive. The 2nd employee, who was an actual roofer, came over and looked at my roof. He mentioned that the tiles were so old and they would crumble and I was glad he honest.

Description of Work: They sealed around the chimney to stop a leak. This was a temporary measure since the shingles around the chimney are not correctly arranged. We will need this area repaired in the future.

Description of Work: They promptly called to schedule the service. They were punctual and professional. They understood the roofing business. My husband really appreciated that they stuck to the service we asked; they didn't do hard sales or push a lot of services on us.

Description of Work: The moonworks liason came and was totally professional and nice. But he said my roof is such dire need of repair, that they can't do a small fix. He said it would be no problem if I contacted you and told you that and they would have no problem with me getting reimbursed. I can't find the original invoice number, my apologies.

Description of Work: We called to obtain an estimate from Moonworks to remove old roof shingles and install a new one. The gentleman was very polite, but the company has a computer-video presentation that requires 30-40 minutes to view before any discussion of product or service takes place. Once that was over, there were some typical sales technique-type questions designed to overcome objections right from the start, but instead served to make us feel we were being treated like children, by a presenter who was young enough to be our child. The price he quoted was quite high and when we said so, suddenly there was a lower price available for the same product and installation. When we still did not agree, there was another lower price available, if we signed on the spot. We felt that a roof is not the same as other merchandise and so should not be subject to sale prices or other marketing tactics. There is an amount that it costs for labor for the job and materials, including whatever profit margin needed, and so isn't subject to "deals". We were talking to a salesman, not somebody who actually does the job, so were made to feel that some of our questions were answered with a scripted response, rather than a voice of experience. It's possible that the company does an excellent job, but the sales tactic and price caused us to choose somebody else.
