Countertops by Superior were professional, very reasonably priced and competent. The work was done quickly and well. We're delighted with the service and the end result and would recommend Countertops by Superior to everyone.

Bill Yasick and his team were extremely informative, professional, and honest! We had been to several different granite providers, however, Countertops By Superior exceeds and surpasses them all! The customer service is outstanding. We saw Charlene initially, who works in the showroom. She is very knowledgeable and very helpful. They have a massive inventory and an incredible work ethic. We met the owner, Bill Yasick, for the first time when he came to measure the kitchen, so we would know how much granite to order. Our area was approx. 85sq ft. He made sure that we made no mistakes! We really received an education on granite, installation and the mistakes that can happen if you don't know what to look for. That was invaluable to us. Very detail oriented, right down to the installers! We chose a pattern that "moved" and Bill showed us how the granite needed to be installed so the pattern would flow. He worked diligently and used 3 slabs of granite to ensure our kitchen looked beautiful, and not like a jigsaw puzzle. Jared and Alex, two of the installers came yesterday, and our kitchen looks amazing! I can honestly say that I would not even consider anyone else, nor trust any other company other than Countertops by Superior! This was the second job that we have had done by this company. They also installed our bathroom countertops last year. Bill came out to our house to take measurements and gave us his thoughts on what styles of granite would go with our existing wall colors. The next day we went to their showroom and granite yard, which has an extensive selection. We both loved the first suggestion that Bill had made, so we selected the slab and quickly went through the remainder of the ordering/scheduling process. They always include a sink in the cost of their installation and have a nice selection of regular undermount sinks to chose from. Nine days later the installers were in and out in a couple of hours. The countertop looks great. I'm out of countertops to replace, but if I had more I would definitely be going back to this company!

The showroom took a lot of time look and pulling slabs of granite. Template was performed on the day and time. Installation was 10 days after that. Right on time.

From the time we first went to Countertops by Superior, we were impressed with the professional, knowledgeable, and friendly atmosphere. We were shown many samples of granite....some of which we brought home to make a decision. We returned to the store and spoke with Bill (the owner) and Charlene (office manager)....both of whom were very accommodating. Within 3 days, Bill was at our house to make templates of the counters. It was at this time that we decided to go with the full height granite backsplash instead of tile backsplash. He took time to discuss this with us and gave us the additional quote. In 2 weeks, our counters were installed by very professional and competent installers...and then the measurements were taken for backsplash which was installed the next day. (Only after the counters were installed would they do the measurements so they would be accurate with counters in place). We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome!

It took us a couple of visits to Superior to finally decide on the color scheme for the granite. Charlene was patient informative and very helpful through this process. Due to a misunderstanding regarding an island base cabinet, we did have to wait three additional weeks for our install. This was somewhat disappointing as we are anxious for this job to be completed. The day finally arrived and we were very happy with the crew and their work. They were polite and completed most of our installation that day. Because we need a new floor installed, they could not complete the job until we are finished with the flooring. I noticed a small nick in the granite and called Superior and spoke to Drew, who assured me, that this was something that could be fixed. Our floor is scheduled to be installed this weekend, and barring any unforeseen issues we should be able to have our kitchen completed by the end of this month coming. Installation finally complete and am so happy with final results.

We were very pleased with the entire process! Charlene answered all our questions and showed us their stone selection. Bill met us several weeks later to view more granite at two different suppliers. They were both patient, professional and not pushy! Very accommodating with us! Installation: Alex and his helper were courteous, professional and considerate of our property. Work was done in a timely manner.

I was looking for other companies and I found Countertops By Superior Inc. on Angie's List and they had an "A" rating and we ended up going up there and bought it through them and they installed it. Their price was better than anyone else's and their quality was great. Overall, they were great. They did everything in house. The people you spoke to were the ones who are the actual installers. There were no subcontractors involved at all.

We chose Countertops by Superior to quote us on replacement countertops in our kitchen and master bath, after reviewing a number of alternative suppliers on Angie's List and other sources, and asking for initial information from a few. The owner, Bill Yasick, came out to our home as scheduled, took initial measurements, and gave us a firm, upfront quotation for each countertop. He was professional throughout, and gave a very good initial impression. We had considered using soapstone, but were somewhat concerned about maintenance issues. He suggested a granite alternative called "jet mist", which mimics the look of soapstone. He also mentioned that this granite could be obtained in a "honed" finish, which is non-shiny, and not as polished, rather a matte like finish and slightly textured to the touch. This would be a good fit with our colonial reproduction kitchen, he said. We also agreed to have the countertop edge cut to a half bullnose shape to conform to that of our center island wood countertop, which we kept as is. We were given the option of going with him or going on our own to a distributor of granite slabs Countertops by Superior uses, located in Westwood, MA. We went out on our own, and, after looking at several of the "jet mist" (also called "Virginia Mist" by some, as it is sourced from a quarry in Culpepper, VA), we chose one that had a pretty uniform finish and moreover, had received an extra metal brushing treatment at the quarry to allow it to be classified as an "antique" finish, which is slightly more textured to the touch than honed, but having the same semi-polished, matte-like finish. One of the Countertop employees, Drew, had alerted us to this possibility before we went out. Prior to the distributor trip, we had visited Countertop's showroom in Rhode Island, and were first shown many different slabs they have in stock by Charlene, who runs the office, and was quite helpful. She also supplied us with a number of samples of alternative granite stones, which we took home to test them against our kitchen decor and colors. This process was quite helpful in convincing us that the "jet mist" - Bill's original suggestion - was indeed the best one. We decided to proceed to have only the kitchen countertop installed, deferring on the 2nd floor bathroom for stylistic, and for logistical reasons. A large wall mirror would have to be moved, and although Bill guaranteed it would be protected, we decided it was too much work, and later elected to repair the wood countertop surface. On the day we had scheduled, the two installers (whose names we have forgotten) arrived late morning, and spent the next 8 hours removing our old wood countertop and installing the new granite replacement. It is a rather involved process, and the obviously experienced installers also had to disconnect, move and raise our stove (1/2" to account for the difference in height between the old wood and new granite thickness), remove the wood backsplash (which involved cutting around cabinet braces, under a window sill, and around other abutting trim boards), and install a new 4" granite backsplash plus an 18"x 30" granite backsplash in back of the stove. The latter was an 11th hour decision by us after having originally agreed to install only a 4" backsplash in conformity with the remaining length. This showed the willingness of Countertops by Superior to include a late add-on without increasing the initial quoted price. The two installers were both professional and personable, and we were impressed with their skill. After the installers completed their assignment and left, we noticed that they had left some debris in the lower cabinet area, the top of which was left open during the installation process, as well as some sharp edged shims that had been left temporarily while the adhesive set to assure a level surface. It should be noted that our old wood countertop was not completely level to start with. We also noticed a slight open space showing from one side of the cabinet shelf next to our porcelain sink, where the granite abutted and extended over the sink edge, plus a very small chip in the new countertop. Drew made a couple of visits to our house to fix these "punch list" items (we found the chip the day after he came to fix the other items). Like all the other reps, he was most helpful. He also brought us a little bonus gift, which was a 1foot square granite cutting board taken from the same jet mist slab. Notwithstanding the aforementioned post-installation "fix" items, we think that Countertops by Superior did an outstanding job from start to finish, and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others. Their representatives are professional, straightforward and honest, but also personable and engaging.

Wonderful company, great experience and professionalism. They took the time and effort to be personal and helped us all along the way. Bill and Charlene go above and beyond. The granite was fabricated with excellence and we will be using them for all our vanity countertops as well in the near future!

We originally purchased through one of the "big box" stores and were not satisfied with the experience. Bob & Charlene offered an experience that was professional, personal, delivered a beautiful product and they accommodated our working schedules.

I emailed and got an estimate from Charlene within the same day. They do give you an ALL-inclusive price (not just the granite measurement/fabrication/installation cost) which was what I wanted. Straight to the point, no surprises and add-ons/extras later. We scheduled an appointment for Bill to come and take a look, he was very professional and made some good suggestions and we accepted the job proposal with a slight increase in price (my measurement of the countertops was a little off). I was also able to avail of the free sink offer (being an Angie's List member) and I liked it a lot, as they had one in a similar configuration as my old sink. We then scheduled a date for making the template (May 1, I think). There was some delay on installation day (about 2 hours) but Rob and Therin were able to finish it by late afternoon. Love the end result! I am glad we decided to do granite, instead of Formica. I spent a lot of time trying to find a contractor to do the Formica but the labor cost they wanted was insane. The extra$ for granite was well-worth it. And Countertops by Superior made the experience go so smoothly. We are very pleased with this project.

The crew was on time. The granite was cut and polished to perfection and installed expertly.

Showroom experience and getting slabs to store to select granite were very good. Installation was a little disorganized and results were okay. Spacer strips to raise up the counter under existing back splash looked sloppy and some times good size gap between the counter and back splash. The owner never followed through after voicing issues and left cigarette butts in the yard. Would not use again if it was the same installers.

.We researched several companies and also visited a couple. The folks at Superior were friendly and informative. We brought our kitchen plan with us and got an estimate while we looked at the stone they had. Picked out the slabs, called when our project was ready to be measured and it was installed the next week. Everything was on time and professional.

Bill and Charlene are two of the nicest, most professional people you want to deal with. Honestly. I looked around Angie's list for a company to do my counter and decided to go with a RI company - just seemed to make good business sense. Luckily for me, Bill and Charlene are here and have great reviews. I called and talked to Charlene a couple of times to try to give them an idea of what I was looking for. I thought at the time I didn't want granite. Charlene made the appointment and said Bill would bring a bunch of samples and answer my questions. When he arrived (even a tad early -wow!), he took his time to explain the difference between granite, quartz and other materials. It became obvious that granite was the way to go for me (and he kept stressing that he sold all the products, he just wanted me to be clear on what the differences were between the materials). After going out to his truck and looking at all the lovely pieces, I brought 4 or 5 in the house to set against the backsplash mosaic and floor sample. The one Bill suggested turned out to be the hands down winner. Some measurements, a price, and an appointment for the following week for installation - a busy, productive afternoon! The following week, Bill's crew showed up on time for installation. One thing I like is that these guys work directly for Bill and are not subcontractors. The old laminate was gone in a heartbeat and with a little wiggling (I have a small kitchen!), the gorgeous piece of granite was installed, sealed and wiped dry. Bill also sells, nearly at cost, under mount sinks. So that was a no-brainer. The crew was finished in just about 2 hours and cleaned up everything before leaving. The only issue I had with the installation was the connection to the dishwasher. The crew tried just gluing the supports to the granite which didn't hold. I called Charlene and told her about it. Bill was back at my place within a couple of days with the correct plate which he installed. Everything is now perfect and I recommend Superior wholeheartedly for their product and most especially for their outstanding customer service!

We met with Bill right before Christmas and had counter tops installed in less than a week. We found out he had the granite we wanted on Wednesday and he was at our house on Thursday creating the template. He went above and beyond to help out. I had no working sink and Christmas was in two days and he went out searching for a loaner sink for us so we could get through the holidays. We got the most beautiful granite and two big, deep stainless steel sinks. The process of choosing the perfect sections of the slab so the flow would be just right really shows how much Bill knows about granite. The installers were on time, clean, polite and very friendly. It was a great experience and we would highly recommend Superior.

This company is by far the easiest and professional company to do business with, actually making the experience, if you can believe it enjoyable, from start to finish. Charlene and Bill were both extremely helpful and willing to go the extra mile to grant our wish list and make everthing happen for Christmas. We can,t say enough praises for the company as a whole, from the price to the install, the countertops are beautiful. We look back at when we made several trips to view the different granite slabs and take home some sample pieces (very large pieces at that :) and each time Charlene was pleasant and helpful. Also when Bill came to tempate the Main Kitchen he left a second template for the center island (which seats 5) for us to get an idea of where the island would finally be placed in the Kitchen and then to have the granite installed 6 days later so we could have Christmas Dinner for 28 family members was in our minds a true Christmas Miracle.

From start to finish, everything went smoothly. A professional team. The guys that installed the granite countertop were hard workers and made sure everything was to my liking.

From our first meeting with Charlene in the office to meeting Bill, the owner, at a stone yard to pick out our slab of stone, to installation, everything went so smoothly. Bill is the ultimate professional and gave us great advice. We wanted a tile backsplash and although Superior doesn't do tiling, they removed all the old formica from the walls to ready it for tiling. The counters look amazing. We couldn't be happier with the result and wish we had done this years ago. We got several estimates before starting the job and Countertops by Superior were right in line with everyone else. I can't imagine another company's service to be as good as what we experienced though. An A+ job.

Bill the company my owner not only helped us pick the did but also goes us design ideas that converted 20 years old kitchen into a showplace. Love it!

Will and his team did an outstanding job. The first part was to remove the old countertops which were attached to the frames using flooring nails. They had also been done tongue and groove so that the countertop sunk into the front face of the cabinet. All of these were removed without any damage to the surrounding tile or cabinet frames. The new countertops were installed beautifully. The installers did a great job, especially with the backsplashes which had to hide the cuts in the tile. Most of this had been designed by Will during the templating, but the installers had to improvise on a couple of spots and did great. Overall, using Superior was a great experience and I can't wait to use them to replace my equally horrible kitchen counter. Estimate and installation appointments were on time. The experience at their office selecting the granite was equally enjoyable.

They were very professional and personable. They came on time to measure and install. The owner was involved from the start to the finish with advice and help. They were very reasonably priced and we are extremely satisfied.

After many visits to other granite sops, I stumbled upon Countertops by Superior, what a Find! Everyone I met was great! Bill, the owner, came to my house for the measuring (didn't know he was the owner). They all take great care in their work. I will use them again.
