After an initial scheduling glitch, things were great. An appropriately-sized, competent and good-natured crew arrived on time, worked hard and was on their way.

All household items were placed in large storage boxes without cleaning and stored for six months. Items that were relatively smoke damage free were therefore exposed to badly smoke effected items and rendered unusable. None of the items that were supposed to be disposed of were disposed of, making it necessary to rent a 20 foot storage facility to sort, clean and repack all the items stored at their facility. Upon my notification of the houses readiness, the manager, "Aldo", stated they were still working on things. I paid a surprise visit to their facility and found that nothing had been cleaned. Indeed on the day of the move back I had to find and rent, at my expense, a storage facility. "Aldo" was cleaning the items as they were placed on the trucks with a rag and a bottle of Windex. Hardly the "special cleaning methods" that were promised at the outset. Many items were destroyed by mishandling at their facility or in transit. This included a washer and dryer, two desks and various other pieces of furniture. "Aldo" informed me that he "didn't know" what happened to the broken items. He "didn't know" why large items were stored when he went through them with me and agreed to dispose of them. He also "didn't know" what happened to a box of cable equipment that he had "placed in his office" to be returned to the cable company. He offered to dispose of the useless items at further expense to the insurer, effectively charging twice for a service that was never done. His "Electronics Expert" certified all items sent to him were completed and ready to go without, according to "Aldo", ever having plugged them in or turned them on. Most items did not work. Many items have turned up missing. Without a doubt the worst, most untrustworthy service provider I have ever dealt with. They took a tragic situation and made it worse. I did not seek them out. They showed up in my yard while the house was still smoking and offered to "help". In hindsight I wish I had sent them on their way.
