arrived late.. talked so much on the phone that she never heard me say that I would work out details on my end for her to come at 10am disorganized workers.. lacked organizational skills provided lunch.. and gave them a $300. room air conditioner in to an hourly rate. had an appointment for friday 10am.. found a call on my answering machine that she is not able to keep her appointment for Friday.. knowing full well that her cleaning here was very important.. for the movers to place furniture in the basement. She NOT professional she is too busy thinking of the next thing she's going to say to hear the directives you're giving here..
Description of Work: 2 hrs 2 people worked half the job. it jumped from $15.00 an hour per person..to $25.00 when she saw it was a dusty basement..is that what basements are..? I told her that over the phone before hiring here. this is unskilled labor.. I'm shocked and disappointed

Response from Klean Patrol
Unfortunately there were several complications and miscommunications on this job. The first one being we could only work until 2 due to her nap,I suggested we get there early, she said no she had things to do, that 11 was fine. Which she stated several times, even when we hung up. Right down to her dryer hose being off creating a basement full of cobwebs! The next morning she calls and states she planned on us coming at 10 because she had a phone call that morning which had changed her plans. She must not have made herself clear enough to me the night before. However, if she just got the call that morning, I should just know I guess. Upon arriving at the job, she again stated she must not have been clear enough about not wanting any perfume due to her severe asthma. (we were fresh showered, she realized she was talking about our shampoo and clothes that smelled of fabric softener) then she brought us down to the basement to try and show us the work she needed done, but could not see very well because she stated the electrician must not have completed his job…she would have to give him a call. But there was a lamp upstairs we could use. Upon getting the lamp, She again stated that she must not be speaking clearly enough for us and stated she just said she did not want the lamp brought down there to get dusty and the outlets were not working. She then asked us how much for everything. Everything being… cleaning the furnace room completely ie…cleaning off the two desks that were in there, cleaning the cobwebs off of everything,(which were suppose to be from the dryer) dusting all of the boxes and plastic tubs in there, getting everything off of floor, and moving the two desks out of the basement completely. Which there was not even room to carry them through to the outside. Dusting all beams on the ceiling and walls, cleaning off basement bulkhead stairs and stairwell and dusting the about thirty to forty storage bins, dusting the knick- knack cabinet with about literally 75 things in it…which by the way was the only light in that side of the basement, but was blocked by a dresser, boxes and plastic tubs…all of which to be dusted off, like the rest of basement, throwing out her trash, washing down the bar and organizing all of her things, cleaning out the laundry part of the basement, moving her four brown cabinets to the furnace room, dusting everything..(she is severe allergic) fixing her dryer vent, carrying two big pieces of furniture from the attic above the garage, to the basement, after cleaning them all off first, then just organizing everything for her that was on the bar after completely cleaning everything off first. I told her 350. Feeling bad for her being so sickly, post cancerous, and her husband dying. Which I found out to be eight years ago not recent! She stated that she did not have the money. She then asked for a price on getting just the furnace room and the 22 boxes and tubs plus the two desks in it completely cleaned then dusting the rest and vacuuming the floors. I told her 100.00 to vacuum and dust. She then wanted to barter an ac unit with me and asked her what I would give her for it, I stated 75. I then stated that I was looking for the cash but if she wanted to throw in the ac unit, I would do some of the moving she needed..like the four cabinets into furnace room. She then asked what I charged hourly. I stated I don’t do hourly, it is usually by the job. But did say at least 15 depending on work to be done. (Moving things is definitely more than 15 for me) She figured out hourly, realized it was 20. More. Okay, price set! 100. Plus AC for cabinet moving. She went upstairs to look up the value of the ac when I noticed carpenter lights on a stand behind the bar area. I turned them on and LIGHTS!!! She came down to check the BTU’s on AC when she realized there was light. Again we were told “I just do not know how to make myself any clearer to you girls. You cannot run those lights. They cost me over 10$ an hour to run!” Obviously the sockets worked, she just wanted us to work in a very dirty cluttered basement in the dark because she was too cheap to run the lights. But when I turned the lights on, I found a dead baby rat and a huge spider infestation! It was not dryer cobwebs as she said it was! Which is probably the reason she did not want to put the lights on! So I opened the bulkhead doors to bring out trash and realized how much light it brought in. I left them open. She again goes to the top of bulkhead and stands there and says “I thought I told you girls to close these as soon as you brought out the trash, you just do not listen. I cannot be more clear! I told you that I live near a river and I have rats! Needless to say, the door stayed open the whole time. I finally said to her that I needed lights to see. To take your pick. The lights or the bulkhead! She then told us at 2 that we had done enough for the day and asked for us to come back on Friday instead of Thursday, hence her change of plans! I was wrong in this part, I did say yes, then had to cancel due to my husband had a vacation planned for our anniversary. Which is why I had not scheduled anything for the whole week. He had a surprise planned for me. We did cancel, explained why. However, I have been leary to call her to finish what she wanted done because her last words were, “I have a whole garage full of stuff to barter for when you come back. I can’t afford cash, but I have a big safe etc…” A big safe does not pay my bills. I did the job I was hired for and then some. I do have pictures as well. Unfortunately there is no way for me to put those up! We dusted off every single item, wall, ceiling, and floor, moved some furniture, and I fixed her dryer vent. When we left, she stated that “we had worked our asses off” She was impressed. Without ever going to look at it. Just judging by the noise from the basement! I do not mind an honest review….Hers is not even close starting from the actual time of arrival right down to the money, professionalism, to the job done, and hours worked, and price quoted=price charged! Last time I calculated 11-2:40 is more than 2 hours! Sorry, but with all of the “exclusions” I am not willing to go back even to get a good review!

They did wonderful. Doing windows, carpets, floors, cabinets, you name it, they have done just about everything a cleaning company can do and then some.
Description of Work: That was for a home clean from top to bottom. Although to be fair, I have used them for final cleans on a construction site as well as to keep the site clean and free of debris during construction. I have used other companies, yet none seem to have the honest to goodness downright capability of not only having devoted, hard working people who care about the quality of their work, but actually being able to perform in the most professional, capable, and most of all diverse conditions, have lived up to EXACTLY what hey promised to at the most reasonable prices. Yes, in some instances they were no more than 20$ over market. Yet that was only one time. Normally they come in under market and deliver an above market job. Both at my home and on the job. This is truly one instance where their reputation definitely helped them to get a few more jobs. My only regret is that We no longer work or live in that area, therefore have not had the pleasure of working with them since. Which has made me really see how bad a side of business can be. Especially when you are use to working with the best! Thank you for setting a high industry standard for me to go by Klean Patrol. Word of advice to homeowners or business owners...remember, you get what you pay for. I certainly hope people read about my experience and learn from it. Not all places are bad, but if you want the best, Klean Patrol is definitely the way to go. In your home or on the job site. Actually I even used them to clean up after tenants at one point and could not believe how wonderful my house looked when they were done. So that is three things actually I have used them for. Extremely happy.
