I have had a recurring roof leak that seeps into my living room and have attempted several times to find the source. I finally used the search services to select John Henderson as well as two other contractors. John came out first, and promptly climbed up on the roof to look for the leak. He also checked the windows and spent time looking for the possibilities and listening to my descriptions of what was going on. What impressed me most was that while he was up on the roof, he asked me to pass him my caulk gun, and he went about caulking whatever appeared to be a possibility. That was huge to me because this was just the estimate meeting. John's demeanor was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and professional and i will use him for future work that we discussed as well as recommend him highly to friends and anyone in need of home repairs. Everything went great! I asked for a quote and received one within 2 days of asking. The quote was very competitive, although not the lowest I received from other providers. I nonetheless went with John Henderson, after witnessing his company's work replacing a roof on a neighboring street. I had observed the professionalism of his crew and their careful approach to the work at hand. I was more than willing to pay a slightly higher price for a quality company, but did ask John to lower his quote by a small amount. He readily agreed to my request and we signed the contract. I had asked John if he could do my roof as quickly as possible, as we had some travel plans upcoming and I was nervous the work would take place while I was out of pocket. About a week later I got a call from John stating that he had an opening 2 days from then and would that work. It did for me and at 7:00 AM his crew arrived and were stripping the old roof within 30 minutes. The entire job was accomplished quickly and efficiently. His team was careful to avoid damaging our gardens and deck. They cleaned up as they worked and when they were finished, and left, you would never know that a major project had occurred that day. The yard was as clean as a whistle. I recommend John Henderson to anyone wanting an honest and professional Roofing contractor. I have absolutely no complaints and I'm very happy with the results.

He was excellent in helping make decision, he was very fair with price. John was not only corportive, but made sure i understood everything that he was doing.

John was very professional and personable. His workers kept everything clean and neat and picked up after themselves. Everything that was said to be done was done. Overall we have no complaints or concerns. I will definitely use John again for our roof on barn.

I found him through Angie's. He had a different number of workers came out and it was varied and he had a different number come out when they were removing it and then came out different when installing the new one. The whole process took approximately a week and that was my first time I used them. The workers cleaned up their mess every night before they left. They did have a dumps through my driveway which was a bit of a pain, but there is nothing you can do about that and there is nothing you can do about that when you are deconstructing it has to go somewhere. When they wrapped it up in the evening they wrapped it up. It was very nice. I had had bids from approximately six different contractors his was the most straight forward. It was the easiest to understand. There were no discounts, no nothing, everything was already done. He was the lowest bidder and provided the best warranty, which is transferable. When they replace a roof basically they take all off the tiles and the under elements and they look for bad plywood seething which is underneath and cover the whole house. If there is nothing wrong with the plywood then your house is not open to the elements, so I had no bad plywood so there was no opening to the elements. When they were done they covered it with plastic in case it rained or humid and then the next morning uncovered everything and got started laying everything. The only problem I had was not with them but I also had a problem with my chimney and this was not their fault then he coordinated the chimney repair which was another outfit so he made sure that everything was done properly so that the roof would tie into the chimney properly so that my warranty would be in effect. I hired a separate contractor to rebuild the chimney because he did not do that, but he make sure all the work was done properly.
