R & R Roofing Contractors

I sent out to three local roofers for a price and all three I must say were very close in there bids and all three were from Angie's List under roofing . I did choose R & R Roofing and I'm very pleased I had done so. They did a great job and were very professional from the workers them self and Mr. Rossie were just great . I have in the past had a issue with another roofer on a piece of investment property I had owned and was realy taken to the cleaners with them . So needless to say I way very , very cautious on make my choice this time around. I would not hesitate to call them again, for when you ask Mr. Rossi a question he is there to answer them. Needless to say I am very pleased with R & R Roofing and Mr. Rossi work. They did a very clean job as well there was nothing left behind they even raked my yard to be sure and clean my gutters for me . So don't hesitate in using them , I will again if the time comes and I will telleveryone I can about them and there work .

Mr Rossi was very professional from the first time he came over. The roof is about 17 -18 squares, He arrived when he said he would and inspected the roof. We went up and he showed problem areas and told how they could be corrected and what he would do. He sent us a quote via email and was patient as it took some time for decision to be made on the color for the roof. Once the color was selected we called and he scheduled the job. He called the day before to confirm with us and he showed up on time and his crew was ready. They were very neat and the mess was minimal. The job took 2 days and he was very flexible. I mentiond would it be possible to have some extra shingles. He ask why? I mentioned that the small awning needed a few to match. He said I'll take care of it. That area only needed 4 rows about 3' wide but he roofed it like the regular roof , with the drip edge and under layment and said don't worry about it and i'll leave some extras but you will not have any problems. They did good work and he is likely right. He did a excellent job. I wouldn't hesitate recommending him.

Richard Rossi was just very professional and honest. Two things lacking in his trade is honestly and fairness. His estimate was fair and he did everything he said he'd do without the games. I had 2 other roofers come in to view the job and their prices were insane. Mr. Rossi viewed the job and was honest enough to tell me what needed to be done and not soak me. I highly recommend this roofer.

I am always apprehensive hiring a contractor...however, Mr Rossi was punctual, efficient, and the job was done without any issues whatsoever. The process was clearly explained, started on time and finished within the discussed time frame. I was thrilled with the experience.. Please note, my original review was for Roofing Doctor. I DID NOT use them. I used R&R Roofing, and would again.

When I first met Richard he came to my home to look at my roof and give me a price. My first impression was that I was dealing with someone who means what he says. He was very polite and professional. After he examined my roof he prepared a detailed quote. He was very careful and in clear language to explained to me what had to be done. There were items that I was not familiar with, with regard to the work to be performed and the material being used. He took his time and explained everything in terms I could easily understand. I guess most of these jobs are given on price, I however must feel comfortable with the person I am dealing with and I felt that with Richard. He called me to let me know when the work would begin, and he was there EXACTLY the time he said he would be, with his crew. By the way I would also like to compliment the politeness and speed and care his crew displayed. As promised all the sides of my house were covered and protected as work was being done. A dumpster was used to store and remove all the old shingles and any other trash. They went all around my house during and after the job was done and picked up ALL the trash. The job was done in two days which surprised me given the work involved. Before, during and after the job was done, Richard kept me updating on what was happening. He not only replaced my roof but he also repaired CHIMMNEY as part of the job. From beginning to end I was totally satisfied with the work in all aspects and the result. My mother-in-law just purchased the house across the street from me and was witness to the work being done on my house and the magnificent results. The house she purchased will be needing a new roof within the next the next year. She told me she wants the same company that did my roof. They performed : Stripping all old shingles Renail/replace wood as needed A metal drip edge was installed on the bottom Along with an ice & water membrane Roof Underlayment Replace stack flashing Ridge ventilation( which by the way looks beautiful) Clean Gutters Reweave House, Chimney and all flashing and repairing the chimney. Great job done with speed and skill.

This is my third house I have had R&R roofing do and I do not even look at anyone else. His prices are not the lowest but I believe you get what you pay for and working with Richard has been a pleasure each time I have had him do work for me. Two of my jobs were also insurance claims and my insurance adjuster stated his prices were very competitive or very reasonable prices for the jobs. He has always been very responsive to calls from me for information, scheduling, or clarification. He has his referred brand of shingle that he likes to use, but doe to color choice, we requested a different brand. He felt the other brand was a very competitive brand but the warantee was not quite as good, but we chose to go with it anyway and he had no problem getting them or any issue with putting them on. Richard spells out everything for you and writes it all on the quote. There were not any supprises other than to find out how many of the sheets of plywood needed replacing. He informed us that many of htem we not secured properly and he was able to secure them instead of needing to replace them. Only needed to replace three (3) sheets of plywood which he had included in the quote as a per sheet price. Richard and his crew showed up when they said they wood and his crew works just as hard if Richard is on site or not. They also clean up every day and at the end of the job. I went around my house (2400 sq ft ranch) and only found 7 nails, 4 of which were in a gutter. The rest I found mostly burried in the dirt and am not sure if they were from this job. I am still impressed with the quality of work, daily and final cleanup, rofessionalism, and efficient work that they continue to do. As I stated before, if I ever need any roofwork done, Richard will be my forst and only call. (At least until he retires) Thank you Richard.

We chose R & R Roofing Contractors after getting quotes from two other companies. Richard Rossi, the owner of the company, came to the house for the estimate, unlike the other two who sent estimators and left us a sample book. Richard explained to us in detail what needed to be done and what we could expect from him. He went over samples with us and gave us the addrtesses of a few houses he had done so we could see what the colors we were considering looked like on an actual roof. It was very helpful in making our color choice. The entire crew, including Richard, who works along side them everyday, did a great job. In addition to installing a quality roof they made sure that the job site was left clean and neat each day they were here. When the job was completed Richard made sure to go over the shingle warranty information with us so that we could register them online and be assured the 30 year warranty would be in place. . Though R & R is not one of those companies who can remove and replace a roof in one day, it was worth the extra time it took (4 days) to have someone we felt we had confidence in and we definitely feel we made the right decision. Our roof looks great and should last for many years to come.

He promptly returned my call for an estimate and spent time explaining what he would do and the materials to be used. When weather and other factors made changes in work plans, he called me promptly. The workmen were courteous and my property was protected and thorouhly cleaned up before the job was finished. One of the best home improvement experiences I have had

Richard was responsive and flexible. The project needed to be delayed due to rain. Richard was very accommodating and work within my schedule. He also kept me completed updated and informed during the project.

Overall a very satisfying job. He often answered the phone when I called. Very knowledgeable. My roofing problem was not easily diagnosed. Richard came up with several remedies.He did them all. Plus, he suggested a couple of other ideas to make the roof even more secure. There was a little schedule mix-up, but Richard always answered the phone and things were quickly back on track.

My house is over two hundred years old and I knew that this was not going to be easy. Richard and his guys could not have been any better. He made all the calls to the town and the building inspector to check on the requirements of my historic home before he gave me a price. i had over six different companys give estiments and richards was the most through and fairly priced. All earlier reviews were right rand R and R roofing did a great job. They showed up everyday with a polite good morning and got right to work. Cleaned up everyday and checked in with me to see if I had any questions and explained the progress before leavening for the day. He even called me and emailed me to check in when we had a little rain during the install. It was nice. The roof looks great and no leaks. Thanks to Richard and his guys for a beautiful job.

Squirrels had done some bad damage to my old studio roof, leaving a hole open to the elements. I needed a new roof. I contacted three Angie's List companies for an estimate. Two of the companies sent a worker over to view the damage and an owner phoned me later with a bid. Richard Russo, the third owner, arrived in person. He was personable and informative about his work,which he has been doing for thirty years. His bid for the job was the most reasonable of the three. Before he left, Richard climbed up on the studio roof and put temporary patches on the holes. Hiring Richard Russo was a no-brainer. Work began the next day. An important thing about Richard Russo is that he works alongside his team during the entire job. His two workers were low-profile and well-choreographed, and they showed good concentration and expertise in their work. The job was finished in two days. In spite of a light snowfall, the team arrived early, brushed the snow off the roof, and put in a full day, in order to get the work done before the major snowstorm due later in the week. Clean up for the job was superb. They even washed off the sky lights on the roof.They left my yard immaculate, with no trace of the work they had done except for a professionally well- done roof. R and R Roofing is the best.

The work was excellent and the owner, who is on the job working everyday was very professional and competent. Work was on time and of high quality. The owner is very trustworthy and obviously takes pride in his work. An excellent company.

Richard at R&R was great to work with. Very professional, returned calls, always on time and very fair estimates. I would recommend him to anyone with roof issues.

Some shingles came off from the roof and the peak during Superstorm Sandy and then more came off during the nor'easter the following week and there were leaks in the roof. I made calls to several roofing companies and R & R responded promptly and came right out and gave an estimate after going up on the roof to get an in depth inspection of the damage. They came when they said they would, worked all day, cleaned everything up after and gave us the good news that our roof will now last a few more years (longer than we thought). Richard and his crew were prompt, thorough and professional. I highly recommend them.

I waited to report until I could see whether the repairs really fixed the leak. After Sandy, I can safely say that the repair was completely effective.

Richard was very thorough - he looked in the attic and also walked the roof prior to making recommendations. The job was completed in two days as Richard had estimated. At the end of every day they cleaned up and removed all debris.

The original work was anticipated to last 3 days, however with all the wood problems, it ran 6. They were prompt each day and did a thorough clean up job each day before leaving. I am very happy with the work and will refer them to anyone that needs roof repair! Excellent job, great workmanship and decent price for the amount of work.

They worked quickly and efficiently. It took them 3 days to complete the job. The workmanship was very good. It looks great. Richard gave us addresses of houses they did ahead of time so we could look at them and the different type and colors of shingles. We are very happy with the job and would give them an A+ and recommend the company to anyone.

Richard the owner is very professional and knowledgeable. After giving a very thorough estimate, he was more than willing to explain the entire process. The job site was cleaned daily and all services requested were performed to our satisfaction. Richard promptly came out to look at our roof when we initially called him for a quote. Of the three roofers we called for a quote, Richard was the only one who actually got up on the roof. He came back with a quote quickly. Once we decided to have R&R Roofing do the work, Richard brought us samples of the various shingle options. He originally told us it would be about two weeks before he could start the work, but once we chose the shingle color, he was able to start the work three days later. He arrived early on a Friday morning and immediately got to work. When he left for the weekend, he assured us that our house was completely protected, even without the shingles, which hadn't been put on yet. He finished the roof by noon on Monday morning. They were neat and no garbage was left behind. He called us afterwards to make sure we were happy with the work. We would definitely recommend R&R Roofing.

I contacted R&R and they arrive on the scheduled day and time to take a look at my roof. The gentleman was very professional and took time to explain various facets of the roof and what may or may not need addressing. I was very satisfied with level of detail. He even looked in my attic, which the others did not. Unfortunately, the quoted price was significantly above other quotes, but I can't fault the company for setting what they believe was a fair price. Would definitely recommend others to get a quote.

After my roof was damaged in a wind storm, Richard Rossi, the owner of R&R Roofing, was one of several contractors who came out to give me an estimate. With rain in the forecast, Richard was the only contractor who offered to repair the small area of damage immediately even before he knew if he would be selected for the entire job. After a careful inspection, he gave a very reasonable estimate. While some other companies could bring in a large crew and do the job in one day, I opted for R&R because I knew that I would have only experienced roofers performing the work. I was also pleased that he would bring in his own truck and haul away debris every day instead of leaving a dumpster in the driveway. Once I told him that he had the job, he helped me select the perfect shingle color for my roof. When the work began, he and his crew arrived on time each day, took care in protecting my gutters and siding, worked all day, cleaned up beautifully, and left my roof in a state so that if it rained my home would be protected. My new roof, which has a steep pitch and some valleys looks gorgeous and I am completely satisfied with the work The attention to detail and trim is impressive. My yard was left cleaner than when he started the job! I would certainly recommend him to my friends.
