Richard (owner of R&R) quickly responded to my call for an appraisal to re-shingle our roof. Arrived promptly, inspected the roof and gave us an estimate for the job, right on the spot. The day the crew arrived, they started out bright and early and went right to work, removing the existing shingles. Next day, arrived early and finished up the job. Both days were pretty hot out and they worked right through it, completing the job by the afternoon. They did a great job - courteous, hard working crew and the cleanup was fantastic too! I would recommend this company.

I requested 5 estimates from different companies for my roof. Richard came to my house to measure and explained what needed to be done and then sent me the estimate quickly. As soon as I received all 5 estimates I found that R & R was the most reasonable. I called Richard to let him know that he had the job but there were some changes in the number of sheets of plywood and asked him to revise the estimate. I received the revised estimate the same day and Richard and his crew started on the roof the next dry day. The job was done in two days and looks great! My yard was totally clean each day and the workers and Richard were very professional and polite through out the job. I'm very pleased with the job and would highly recommend R & R Roofing.

We spend the winters in Florida and use this residence only in the summer months. Since our daughter reported there were many feet of snow on our roof and for safety reasons should be removed, I had no idea who to call from Florida. I went to Angie's list and found R & R Roofing with a good rating. I called and Richard was very attentive to my needs. He went over and removed the snow and contacted me immediately that the work was done. He was very prompt, attentive, reasonable and polite. Our daughter confirmed that the work was done well. I will definitely call him again for any other roofing or other jobs that need to be done.

It went well! Work was completed in the time alloted in the quote. When removing the old shigles and plywood it was not dropped onto the yard for cleanup, as most roofers do. It was wheelbarreled across the roof to a dump truck in the driveway. No worry about roofing nails, etc contaminating the yard. We were very pleased with the whole process. The neighbors even commented positively on how the whole project was handled from beginning to end.

During a recent rain and wind storm, I noticed some water leaking down to the closet in my living room. Not knowing who I should contact, I researched on Angie's List and found R&R Roofing. The company was local and had several postive accolades. I emailed Richard on Tuesday morning and my email was promptly returned. He came by the house, surveyed the area, and provided a detailed list of what needed to be done. Richard indicated he might be able complete by that Saturday. I received confirmation from him on Friday and his team arrived at my house around 10:00 AM on Saturday. They cleaned the area and prepped the chimney for the work. His team did a fantastic job. They did not take any shortcuts: they removed a sufficient area of shingles, grounded down all of the old cement, and replaced with new lead flashing and sealer. They were done in approximately 2 1/2 hours. I personally observed the majority of the work being done, and they did a tremendous job. I had the opportunity to speak with Richard for about 30 minutes after the job was completed and found him to be extremely knowledgeable and an upstanding businessman. I was so pleased with his work, I actually had him do some work on my mother's house as well. The stack on the roof was leaking so I reached out to Richard who actually went and completed the work in the SAME day for her. She was very pleased with his work and the price was about $150 which I found to be very reasonable. I would not have any hestitation or reservation in calling Richard to not only have him do additional work, but to just ask his advice. I would trust his judgement as he has been in business for many years.

Richard Rossi was extremely responsive from the beginning when he inspected the roof and provided the cost estimate. He went through each step of the project with me and explained all the materials and their purposes. He followed up by phone and email and called me when the job was completed to be sure I was happy. He and his crew did a thorough job and left my property spotless. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any one.

The work was done thoroughly and as described. We felt comfortable with Richard Rossi's expertise in completing the work. He provided a 10-year guarantee on the work done, and we would not hesitate to hire him again.

You can tell they know what they are doing. They were fast, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I saw him roof two of my neighbors roofs so I observed their work a few months prior and knew I would call them when the time came for me. Richard Rossi was responsive, came when he said he would, showed me my options and explained what they were going to do. He went up on the roof and said it didn't feel spongy so he wasn't sure if I would need new plywood and if so, it would cost more than the estimate. No surprises then if that actually happened. (Luckily, no extra plywood was needed). I chose the color of CertainTeed Landmark shingle I wanted. He asked all the right questions, such as if I have any ice dams. (I have not). He showed me what he uses for tar paper (Rhino which is excellent) explained what size drip edge he planned on using and he said he would be in touch within two weeks. He included roofing my two sheds as part of the deal. He gave me my estimate right then and there, and I told him he was hired. We had some rainy weather in between, so it was more like three weeks, but that is OK with me. He asked how much notice I would need and I said one day was fine. He let me know two days prior when they would be doing it. I love that he doesn't use a dumpster. He uses a tarp and truck to carry away the old shingles. Fast and efficient. They showed up early and got down to business. He has a crew of several men, so it went fast. They were finished within a few hours and everything is fine. It looks very good. I would recommend him to everybody and would use again if necessary.

Richard and his crew were awesome! The weather was cooperating when they were here but they got the job done and it came out perfect. His 36 years of experience really shows in my roof which is PERFECT!

Richard is straightforward and knowledgable, and his entire crew was courteous and professional. Ours was kind of an involved job with several features, and he accounted for everything in a very reasonable price, which he stuck to. There were a couple of minor add-ons after the job started, and he knew how to deal with them quickly and cost effectively. Job completed perfectly, and we are very happy with it. Cleanup was impeccable. We feel we got 110% for our money. A pleasure doing business with people like Richard.

I called to request an estimate for a new roof and received a voicemail later that evening stating that they would call back the next day. After not hearing back for 24 hours I called back and was told that they would come to inspect and provide an estimate on Saturday morning at 9am. Saturday morning came and went and no one showed up or called. At this point I decided not to follow up any longer with this business as they did not even have the common courtesy to call. If it is that hard to communicate with them prior to doing business, who knows how they will handle any issues once work had started. Moral of the story is--if you are working harder than the company that you are trying to hire, they don't want your business.

It went very well. It was excellent. If you need a new roof, call him.

They showed up on time and did an excellent job. They completey cleaned up after finishing the job within a day. I did not find a single roofing nail or piece of shingle left on my property.

Had a large amount of water come pouring through my first floor ceiling. Once plumbing was ruled out as the source, I left a message with R&R explaining the problem. Rossi called me back immediately and checked out the problem the following day. He came back a day later and fixed the issue. Process was quick and easy.

Richard called ahead to let me know they were coming to do the work before the wet weather. They arrived and got right to work sealing the chimney. The old stone chimney has been leaking, and they sealed the chimney from top to bottom; from flue to flashing. They also made a walk around my roof and sealed any exposed peak cap nailings. They did a great job, and Richard stands by his work. His honesty shows through when talking to him. I look forward to hiring him and his team again.

Rick & I have been in contact since our first meeting for an estimate (December 2013). The weather was finally decent enough for him and his crew to do the work. Rick and the crew were on time every morning without fail. They were great! Friendly with our dog and super neat/clean. All we had to do was leave his extension cord plugged into the garage. If there were any questions, Rick would email or come by to get clarification. We found out through this process that he gives 110% for his customers. Any extras (new gutter, new gutter hangers, new exhaust vent) were all included in the original price. Rick likes his work to speak for itself and would not let certain things detract from the appearance/job. We were concerned about nails because of our dog, but we only found 3 nails from the entire roofing job. We walked around the house each night to check - for the dog's sake - and throughout the entire job, only 3 nails. That is fantastic! This particular roofing job pertained to: the main house (cape style), a breezeway addition, and an attached garage. I would definitely contact them again for roofing needs.

Other providers wanted to replace skylights. R & R repaired the flashing, both on the skylight in question and on other places on the roof. A thorough job.

Richard came immediately when I contacted him for an estimate and was able to start the job the next day. He was here everyday working alongside of his crew, who were all professional and courteous. Each evening they cleaned up the site and made sure any exposed areas of the roof were protected. I was very pleased with his work.

He came out promptly to give me an estimate and stuck by it. He worked along with his team of men and was able to finish in a timely manner. They picked up after themselves each day. Soon after their work was complete, we had a torrential downpour in which we got a leak in our skylight. Richard came over the next day, looked at it and explained why the leak was not due to his workmanship. Although I agreed that it was not due to his workmanship, he still repaired it at no charge to me AND he checked the other two skylights to make sure that those two did not have any defects. I offered to pay him for his added service but he refused to take anything. This is an owner of a small business that takes great pride in his business, his people and his integrity. I would highly recommend R and R Roofing.

Richard responded to my email almost immediately. We made a plan for him to stop by on a Saturday morning to look at the roof. He was honest & addressed our concerns. He gave us an estimate within 15 minutes! His prices are competitive and we are on the schedule as soon as there are a few decent days in a row for him to do the roof of the garage & mudroom (not the main house, but its half the total: main house, garage, and mudroom). He also had samples with him of what he will use (as layers) on our roof. We are excited for him to start. I read his reviews on Angie's list and from them (reviews) figured his price would be around $3,000 so when he said $3,200 I knew we had to say yes to his company. He also offered to fix up the chimney for the wood stove (cinder blocks) when he is on the roof. More than we expected for that price!

Richard Rossi (R & R Roofing) was one of three roofers to come to our home to give us a quote on replacing our roof. While Richard's quote was not the least expensive, nor the most expensive, he was the one we hired. He was prompt and came at the scheduled appointment time. One of the reasons we hired Richard was that, when here for the quote, he walked our whole roof to give it a thorough check so there would be no surprises for us on what had to be done. Richard took time to help us choose our new shingles and gave us a reasonable quote. Richard gave us a tentative date to start the job which would have been about a month from that day. Sure enough, Richard was true to his word and started the job just short of a month later. He and his crew were here on time and started work right away. They were hard workers and very polite. Richard always responded quickly whenever my husband called to ask a question. We were very pleased with Richard, the owner, because he genuinely wanted to be sure everything was done "just right". Richard is such a good man and such a hard worker . . . so polite and well-spoken. I'm sure that if anyone hires Richard (R & R Roofing) that they will see that he is an honest, hard-working and well-meaning man. Richard, we love our new roof!!
