R & R Roofing Contractors

R & R Roofing came out and provided the estimate on the day that we called. Their price was the best, the handshake sincere, answered all of our questions and reviews were fantastic so we chose this contractor out of the six we received estimates from. Crew was prompt, courteous, efficient and very hard working. The clean up was excellent and no damage to foundation plantings. We would enthusiastically recommend this contractor. We love our new roof and Mr. Rossi was very helpful providing color options as well.

Above all else always look for a great roofer. Richard and his team are great roofers. In order to complete his estimate, Richard and I went up on my roof together. Richard pointed out his observations of wear and tear. Richard asked me what I wanted to do with an existing ridge vent type, metal chimney flue stack and older unused whole house fan exhaust vent. Richard educated me on the evolution of roofing products since he began working on roofs 40 years ago and the roofing material warranty process. It was clear to me Richard takes pride in his workmanship, carefully listens to his customers desires and wanted to completely satisfy the customer (me). This included my selection of an exact shingle color I was interested in, even though it may have been from a manufacturer he normally does not work with. My old roofing shingles were stripped and replaced. An old whole house fan roof vent was removed and the opening closed up. A new bathroom exhaust vent was installed. A upper section of furnace flue stack above the roof line was replaced. Richard's team has a process from beginning to end that is fast, efficient, thorough, clean and customer friendly. Large plastic tarps were hung from the roof and used to catch the old roofing shingles that were removed. My gutters were cleaned out and a large magnet was used to pick up any old roofing nails in my driveway. All completed in one single day. Your number one priority should be to seek out a great roofer. I highly recommend Richard and his team of great roofers to work on your roofing project.

Rich is a great guy and true pro. Showed up when he said he would and didn't try to oversell me on anything beyond the minor repair my roof needed. I would definitely hire him again.

Excellent. Richard from R&R was the ONLY contractor that when he came to give an estimate, actually got a ladder and walked over the entire roof. All the other contractors we got estimates from took, pictures (from the ground), looked up at the roof and said "Yes, the roof needed replacing". They then spent the next hour and a half telling us why we should hire their company, and if we signed an agreement right then, they would take off some discount, which was only good while they were presenting. Richard showed us the different types of shingles we could use, and color options. He then gave us a price, no pressure, no hassle. His price (for the same material that the other companies were offering) was half of what the other contractors wanted. The work was completed in one day, with the yard cleaned up of debris. The workers were very courteous and they worked! Would highly recommend.

Great. On time. On budget. Richard was the only one who got up on the roof and physically assessed it. No drones or satellite image gimmicks. He was also the only one who gave me a separate price (and multiple options) for some repair work needed on my garage/porch roof.

Richard was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. The work was completed professionally as promised and he made sure that I was satisfied with the work.

It was a great experience. Richard showed his integrity by ensuring the job was done right and that the cleanup afterward was taken care of. The house is almost 100 years old, and he went the extra mile to replace any loose boards before adding 3/4 inch boards on top of the original wood. The work was done just before winter and no leaking or issues 6 months later. I was very happy with the work

We needed the shingles replaced on our original, 30 y.o. raised ranch roof due to ice dams, wind damage, etc... and had gotten a few quotes from other companies. Richard was the only one who went up on the roof and assessed it to see what we were up against. While walking the roof we heard cracking and noticed the roof was bowing under his feet. He recommended we replace the plywood as well. 30 years of 2 too small side attic vents, no soffits or ridge vent, plus ice dams and water damage had damaged the plywood as well. His team removed all the old materials and installed new plywood, 8 soffits (4 in front, 4 in back) a ridge vent and new shingles. They were here at 7:30 and done within 8 hours. Richards quote was the lowest of all the estimates we got. That’s not what got him the job though. The fact that he took the time to go up on the roof and inspect it first, coupled with his years of experience, his pleasant, professional manner and great reviews is what got him the job. Richard was prompt, very professional, approachable and pleasant to talk to, as were the rest of his crew. His crew cleaned up every last bit of trash and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. We are absolutely going to recommend him!

I called him for an estimate, he came the next day. He took the time to explain the work involved, what he uses and how it's done. The price was very affordable. We agreed on the job, they came the very next morning. The job was done in a day and a morning. The sizes of my three roofs are pretty large. Getting that done so fast and professional was amazing. I highly recommend this company.

Mr. Rossi was professional, on time, did great work, and was generally wonderful to do business with. The roof looks wonderful and I have confidence it was all installed correctly because Mr. Rossi clearly has a wealth of experience and knows the products he uses inside out. The crew cleaned up behind themselves and also cleaned out our gutters, so we went from a leaky mess to a lovely, watertight new roof with functional gutters and no leaks in one day. Pretty much the best construction can get!

Richard was very punctual, professional, honest and reasonable from beginning to end. His crew started bright and early in the morning the day of installation and later during the day more people came to finish the job. He even worked alongside his crew to ensure smooth workflow. Our roof looks great. I would hire Richard again.

Richard removed 2 layers of shingles and replaced the roof in one day. He responded quickly, got the necessary permits including for coastal property, quoted a fair price, and completed the work efficiently. He left no nails scattered on the site. I was very pleased with his responsiveness and efficiency and trust the quality of his work. This is the second roof he has replaced for me and I would recommend him.

Richard was great. My wife and I took on the roof as a DIY project thinking that we would be able to get it done in a few days. We started with a dry forecast in front of us, but as we started working the heat on the roof started slowing us down. It was now less than 24 hrs away from predicted thunderstorms and we were having a very hard time getting the house weather tight. I called R & R roofing at about 3 PM and luckily he was able to make it out first thing the next morning. He looked at the job and gave me a great price. He had his guys there immediately and they were able to get the roof sealed up with no time to spare. As they were finishing up with the ice and water barrier the rain started coming down. The next day showed a brief window int he morning where it looked dry and the crew was back out laying the shingles. With temperatures of 90+ degrees they worked very well together and got the job done. Since the roof has been finished we have experienced 2 days of severe thunderstorms. I never would have had the roof completed in time. My wife and I are very appreciative of R & R Roofing for saving us in a time of need.

The quality of the work was excellent, and the workers were punctual and polite. One reason I decided to hire this contractor was his assurance that his crew would take care not to disturb the gardens next to the house. Unfortunately, they weren't as careful as they should have been. In an effort to clean up old shingles, they tore out some perennials, removed the mulch from some perennials, and crushed the tops of some emerging bulbs. After they left, I found two large rocks from the stone retaining wall in one garden and a cinderblock in another garden. It took me some time to figure out that they just don't know where flowers come from. It was a small price to pay for a great roof, but it was damage that could easily have been avoided.

I had a good experience using R&R Roofing. Richard came out to look at the roof and give me a price with in a few days of the initial contact. He explained in detail all the work that he would be doing to replace the shingles. The price was the next to the lowest of the 4 prices I requested but Richard was more professional and had more experience that the lowest offer. (He was just $400 above the lowest). The crew were very careful around the house and they did an excellent job cleaning up each day. I would use this company again.

Roof was installed during colder weather. When it started to get warm out the shingles on the front of the house started to buckle. I called numerous times each time the secretary told me he would come out. He never showed up. After a couple weeks I gave up. Contacted BBB. I should of sued. Too this day during e warm weathers they warp, and when it gets colder they flatten out.
