+ 0 moreI began working with Jay many years ago. I was the first to put him on Angie's List - I was in awe of his professionalism, integrity, enthusiasm, and quality of work. He hit a bunch of low spots in the last few years and we continued to try to work together. In the end, I guess we had to fire each other. I do hope he's on the upswing. If he's back to being the Jay I knew awhile back, I wholeheartedly endorse him for anyone who wants a quality job done.

+ -1 moreCalled Jay and received an immediate response. We wanted fall clean-up, snow removal and landscaping/lawn service contract. We have a 1/2 acre lot with lots of trees. Jay said he would ride by and call back with an estimate. days went by and no call back was received. Finally we called Jay who finally did responded and said we were out of his area. We live in Wickford North Kingstown which according to Jay's profile IS in his area. It was interesting Jay attempt to dispute the first comment when he told a guy in Mass he was too far. This is a company looking for easy job to make easy money.

+ -1 moreI cannot remember exactly when they came but they cleaned up all the leaves and left my yard looking quite nice. I have a large yard with lots of trees so they worked hard. I felt their pricing was right as well. I have kept their card and will be calling them back for Spring cleanup.
Description of Work: Fall clean up - removed all leaves and debris from the yard.

+ -1 moreRight from the onset, the communication with the company (Jay the owner in particular) was excellent. He responded quickly to all my questions, drove by the house within a few days of the original request, and gave a price quote that was fair and reasonable. It took a little longer than I had hoped for Jay to schedule the cleanup - I can attribute that to the fact that the company is busy and my request was rather late in the season. When I got home from work to see the results, I was very very pleased. The lawn was manicured and raked, every single leaf was gone, and they even took away several small piles of sticks. Kudos to Jay and his crew who did a great job! I strongly recommend this company!
Description of Work: I sent the company an email on a Saturday to get information about typical lawn cleanup (leaves removed, lawn mowed, raking, etc) and received an email back 90 minutes later.

Description of Work: I've already reported about this company. They are fantastic! They take care of my expansive yard, prune my bushes, hedges, treat the property as if it were their own. Wintertime - I couldn't do without them. Jay comes on a regular basis to clear the snow, even if it's only been hours before many more inches have fallen. He came to dig out my car when it got stuck off the driveway in an area he didn't need to plow. And, didn't charge for that. Jay's Lawncare is a company I will never replace.

Description of Work: I have been working with this company for several years. He does mowing for $40 per mow (I have a sizeable yard); he does snowplowing (sizeable driveway $40), and has now been helping me out with tons of ice on my driveway. As soon as I call Jay, he returns my calls within a couple of hours to ask me what I need, then comes in to take care of the situation. He cleans my gutters, trims bushes & trees, really makes my home look beautiful. I have received so many compliments from neighbors about his work. This is a guy with great integrity and professionalism. I will definitely keep working with him. I strongly recommend contacting Jay's Lawncare. If he can't do the job you want, he will let you know. That's integrity.
