They did an excellent job and they were very easy to work with.

Job took 3 visits. First was to look at the 'mess' I had, figure out what to do to fix it. Took measurements, crawled all around in the crawl space under the addition and also went up in the attic of the addition. Walked the floor, used levels, etc. Went off to work with the data and then returned to double check 2 things and give me the estimate. A few weeks later (at the time he had said he could work in my job, so right on time) he called the night before to make sure it was still a 'go,' then showed up at the time agreed. Worked right through, short break for lunch, and finished up. He'd thought this would be a 2 day job, but they got it done in one. Without me even asking, he dropped the price on the job from what he had put on the estimate. Best part? Months later and it is clear the job is going to stay in place. I had the City Inspector in to check it (something ELSE I neglected to do with the first contractor), and he said "this floor isn't going anywhere with these supports in place." Kevin Hennessey and his team were professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable about this work. I'd use them again, and I'd recommend them.

Kevin Hennessey came and looked at the old bathroom and spent time talking to us about our wishlist for the new bathroom. He listened to our requests and offered practical suggestions and several new ideas. He gave us a written estimate itemized by labor and materials costs. He explained where costs might increased based on the materials we chose. We could have easily stayed within his estimate, but we chose to spend more on the tile and custom cabinets. Kevin and his crew did most of the work and he brought in sub contractors for some jobs also. Everyone who came to our home was professional and trustworthy. We felt comfortable leaving them in our house when we went to work.As with any contruction project we encounted some unexpected problems. Kevin took them in stride, explained them to us and came up with solutions for everything. We did have a delay while we waited for the granite countertop to be made after they came to make a template. That threw off the scheduling of several other things so the project took a bit longer than estimated. We are completely thrilled with our new bathroom. Hennessey Construction did a great job and we have hired them again to remodel the downstairs bathroom next.

incredible....i wish i had hired them in the first place...but they are so good at repairing and rebuilding the problems that Parker Thompson left in our lap!
