Excellently. Harry was the professional who did the work both for my individual unit and for the building HOA (I live in a 3 unit bldg). He was extremely personabe, courteous, professional, meticulous (I do appreciate anyone who takes pride in and is particular about his craft/trade) and efficient. Harry came to my house twice as a ‘fixer’ of sorts (to correcr/fix the work done by a different contractor/company).

Harry and Justin arrived early,looked at the two areas that needed repairs,put down drop cloths and started the job. Couple of unexpected things showed up during the process,severely corroded bathroom drain and a kitchen faucet that had frozen/corroded and could not be repaired. Installed new parts in both instances after discussing with me and offering options. They were here about 3 hours(estimate) from arrival to departure,left the areas clean and all repairs were tested multiple times. Must mention how quiet they were,my 8yo bulldog slept the entire time. Jim F

We had an issue with a potential carbon monoxide problem with our 27 year old gas furnace. The gas company came to replace the outside meter and couldn't relight the furnace because of carbon monoxide issues. I've used Riley in the past for plumbing issues and they've always been very responsible and professional. This was no exception. I will continue to use them for all my plumbing and heating needs.

Everything was done very professionally. He was able to fix the faucet without replacing it. The garbage disposal works great. My washing machine shut off valve and outside faucet do not leak anymore. He had everything done in a little over 2 hours. He also answered my questions about some future plumbing issues and gave me a lot of helpful information. It was clear he was very well informed. I will definitely call them again.

Came out to troubleshoot a new water heater that wasn't working correctly. They where there within the hour. He diagnosed and repaired in under 2 hrs. He also noticed an unsafe gas line that he capped.

No one likes the mess and inconvenience of an expired water heater. This company answered the call, asked the right questions, and someone was at my house this morning (12 hours after my call) getting the job done at a very reasonable price. Now I can resume normal life. I would recommend this company to any friend.

I called the company at 6:45 AM and the answering service took my information. At 7:00 AM I received a call saying a technician would be at my home before 9:00 AM. By 9:15 the job was completed and I had heat.The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this company.

On the Sunday night before Thanksgiving, our old natural gas water heater rusted out and started leaking all over the basement. After shutting everything off, we called Riley Plumbing first thing Monday morning. Liz answered the phone and didn't blink an eye. "What's the make and model?" Amazingly, they had a free morning in the schedule, so Harry came over and hour later with a perfect replacement. The old heater removed, and the new one installed in a couple of hours. They also replaced the shut-off valve which was pretty old and didn't completely shut-off. They also "sign their work" - the installer name, telephone, and install date in marker on the unit. Very professional! You can't go wrong with Riley Plumbing!

The hot water faucet was leaking in my tub and it took two trips to fix the problem. Since I have a tankless hot water system, I was not only wasting water, I was also burning excess oil. This was not a simple drip, it was more a steady stream of hot water. Charlie attempted to fix the problem by replacing the faucet but it was so old and rotted that a new washer couldn't even be seated properly. During this call, Charlie discovered that the main shut-off valve was corroded and would need to be replaced. This would involve getting the water company to shut off the water at the street while the valve was being replaced and to turn the water back on once the repairs were completed. Riley Plumbing coordinated all of that and came out to fix the problem a couple of days later. I now have valves that I can shut off should I ever need to and a new shower/tub faucet that doesn't leak. The work was done as quickly as possible, every one at Riley Plumbing was friendly and professional, and my bathroom was left cleaner than when they started.

I have them service 2 boilers Just awesome! They don’t work on the weekends but they’re 24 hours. I think theyre only day time guys.

Water heater went on Thursday. I called Riley Plumbing. I got an estimate and they installed the new water heater on Friday. We received a call telling us when the tech should be at our house and he was right on time. The tech,Dave, inspected the old one and explained what he was going to do. After he was done, he went over everything and asked if we had any questions. Couldn't be more pleased with the experience. And the estimate was right on target.

Assessed an issue with our furnace that was causing problems. Three other firms said that the only thing that could be done was to replace the furnace. The gentleman from Riley told us that all it needed was a good cleaning. This saved us several thousand dollars, and a year later, the furnace is running well. I cannot thank them enough for their honesty and professionalism.

He fit me in at the last minute which was perfect before I left for work--I was dealing with a wet ceiling leaking from the upstairs to downstairs-very scary. He assessed, told me what had to be done and fixed within an hour. Very reasonable, clean, wiped their feet several times, very professional.

I took time off from work to be home during the 9-12 window provided. Upon expiration of the scheduled time, a call was placed to the service provider. 30 minutes later, I was told it would take another 1,5 to 2 hours for the service to be completed. It seems to me that various service providers do not respect appointment time theses days and don't even bother with a courtesy call to communicate the delay.

Came out right away to try to fix existing water heater which had been having problems for several months. Recommended options. Ordered and installed replacement. We had problems with the new unit and they immediately got another unit.

I called to request a quotation for the work and Mr. William Riley came out within a week. He inspected the existing boiler and listened carefully to how the unit had been used to provide both steam and forced hot water to different heating zones in the house. He measured every radiator in the house in order to calculate the required steam capacity of the new boiler. He then e-mailed me a detailed proposal the next day. He responded promptly by e-mail to a series of my follow-up questions regarding the proposed heating unit and its installation. After I accepted the quote, we were able to schedule the actual installation for two weeks later. The Friday preceding the scheduled installation, I received a call confirming that they would be out on the following Tuesday. On the Tuesday morning, in quick succession starting at 7:30 AM the truck delivering the new boiler arrived, followed by two plumbers from Riley Plumbing, David and William, and then another truck with two men who had been contracted to remove the old boiler. The plumbers drained the old boiler and disconnected it from the existing steam, water, and electrical system. This involved cutting away several portions of the old steam pipes. The removal contractors with the help of the two plumbers then carefully hauled the unit up the stairs of the hatchway and to their truck, where the contractors disassembled the boiler and took it away. The disassembly and removal were done carefully and with minimum mess, in spite of the need to drain the rusty water and cut away existing asbestos-covered plumbing. Over the next two days, David and Will then installed the new boiler unit, reconfigured and simplified the existing connections to the steam system, installed the circulating forced hot water components, and connected the unit to the gas, electrical, and thermostat systems. Throughout the two days they worked carefully and thoroughly, cleaning up after each day. The job itself was beautifully done, with every new steam or copper pipe installed precisely and cleanly. The job was completed by the middle of the third day and the system tested out satisfactorily. All in all the work was done carefully, thoroughly, neatly, and professionally.

David P. arrived on time with a friendly smile. He was knowledgeable and polite and fun to chat with. He removed the existing toilet and installed the new toilet on the second floor all by himself. Mind you, our a/c on the second floor during this heat wave is not working and he still finished up with a smile. Great guy, great company!
