Description of Work: I was given a written proposal in the spring for fencing (replace old and add new). I decided to wait until the fall when the swimming pool was closed. I met with the original rep on 9/26 who went over the proposal again and decided I could save $500 by eliminating the top rail on the back portion of the fence. He took the written proposal with him and told me he would drop off the new proposal, reflecting the lower numbers, the next day. This evening (10/1) I received a call from the Sales Manager who stated that the original proposal was a "spring special" and only good for so many days and that the new proposal would be substantially higher. I told him I would take my business elsewhere. I believe Statewide Fence business practices to be totally unprofessional, bordering on unethical.
