It went great and they were great to deal with and the new stove is awesome! I highly recommend both the Harman Allure 50 and Hearthside.
Description of Work: I recently purchased a new Harman Allure 50 pellet stove from them (12 months no interest payment plan) and they delivered it and installed it into my existing stove pipe and removed my 14 year old Haman Accenture.

Frank was thorough, kind and very knowledgable. Every step of the way with Hearthstone was a pleasure. I highly recommend. They even took the water quality test a week early to accommodate my schedule, money requested. Every subcontractor was also great!

I have nothing bad to say about them. They were very thorough. They came and inspected the house for us to see the location where we wanted it to be placed. They explained to us the piping that needed to be put going through the wall to the exit. They also explained that we needed to have a platform that would be able to withstand the amount of heat that elevates from the product. We haven't had any problems at all with their service. They were perfect on the price because we had been shopping around and they had the better price. They had the quality personnel there who were very knowledgeable.

Heartside patio installed my harmon p35i pellet stove that i had bought second hand. They had no problems installing it even though I did not buy from them. Joe and Jason came out and did an outstanding job. The pipe install was tricky because of the limited space in the opening that we previously had with a propane fireplace. I would recomend this company 100%. Very satisfied.

I cannot say enough about the customer service which Peter and his team have given me. I found them while looking for a new cover for my hot tub and Peter was great to work with right from the start. When the cover came in they delivered it, helped me move the old one to the curb and even helped with the trash of the box. When I decided to purchase a gas fireplace my first choice was Hearthside and again, they went above and beyond to get the permits and the installation done. Even when there was a hickup from the gas installation they were with me through the process and I love my new stove. When I had a problem with my hottub the first people I called was Hearthside and again they went above and beyond to help me out and in the end did not even charge me. I felt compelled to come on here and give them the great review they deserve. For any spa or fireplace needs I would highly recommend them. Signed, a very happy customer

I had told the sales guy I wanted a brown stove and he was supposed to change the invoice to reflect that but I signed a contract with it stating a black stove
Description of Work: helpful for this new foray into pellet stove heating. however I told the sales man numerous times I wanted a brown one and they installed a black one because that was on the invoice. . I should have made them change it while I was there but I didn't. installation went without a hitch except the vent is over my sidewalk. ..I had told them when they came to measure go out the side wall and up

Terrible Terrible experience. The process took MONTHS to book. We did have an issue with our roof not being accessible to walk on based on the materials of it, but Hearthside acted like they didn't want our business once they had the deposit. The owner was extremely rude to me on the phone. We had been told information on the phone by one of their sales people, and later they didn't stand by their word and accused us of trying to avoid paying for things. They left damaged on our lawn and needed to return a few times to finish up because first, they didn't make the shroud which covers the fireplace opening in time for the job date. (which they do in house) When it was completed, it had dents and scratches and they would have installed that had we not complained. The finally returned with the proper items after a few weeks post installation. Followup - Hearthside's response is littered with inaccuracy. My husband suggested the lift when THEY said they wouldn't walk on the roof because they didn't want to pay for any damage. We were told they would make the connection to the gas line, and when they didn't and the serviceman said he wasn't allowed to, I then called the owner directly, and he was rude, called me a liar, and said we were trying to get them to do work for no charge. When we are quoted a job and told certain things, we have expectations that these things will be done. They were trying to back out of promised work. Your servicemen knew there was lawn damage when gasoline was pouring out of the main line to the lift. Which is when I had to shut off the machine, plug the gas line back in and lower both men down from the sky. They stuck up there about 20 mins while gas poured out. They were aware there was an issue.

We are very upset, and were unaware, that this customer had a bad experience. This job was complicated by the fact that the customer had cedar shingles on their roof, and did not want us to walk on the roof. We were not aware of this requirement until we did an onsite inspection of the job. We informed the customer that they would need to rent a man-lift for our installers to be able to reach their chimney without walking on the roof. We explained that this cost was not part of our standard labor charge, and was the customer's responsibility. We also offered the customer to refund their deposit if they didn't wish to proceed. After the installation, the customer never informed us of any lawn damage or we would have taken care of it. As soon as the customer alerted us to the dented flashing, we fabricated another and replaced it. We just wish the customer had given us an opportunity to resolve these issues. We strive to make every job and every customer 100% satisfied.

Overall from start to finish--from first visit to store to completion of work, I am very satisified.
Description of Work: I had a new gas insert put into an existing firelace. Work was done well---follow up is handled professionally-and every step of the project was handled with curtisy.
