Vicki was awesome! She was referred by both a realtor and a coworker. I couldn't have asked for more prompt and professional service. I would recommend her without hesitation. Price is unbeatable as well.

They were great. The price was the best I got quotes on. Vickie came by the day I called her to give an estimate and they came and did the work exactly when they said they were going to. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

Vicki and her team were great. I was so impressed with how quickly and efficiently, yet safely and thoroughly, her team worked, We were just about to move into the house, and the work GES did brought us great peace of mind. It was a very positive experience.

Fantastic experience. I wish all my home repairs issues went this smoothly. I called Vicki on a Sunday night expecting to leave a message. The phone was forwarded to her personal phone, which she answered. I explained that we had just discovered we could not do the removal ourselves - the damage to the asbestos was too severe. We were planning on moving into the house in 5 days. She met me the NEXT day at the house and gave me a quote immediately. They had an opening in their schedule the NEXT day. I left her my key and the entire job was finished that Tuesday. They even found an extra 15 feet of pipe in a crawl space that we hadn't noticed and Vickie hadn't noticed either. They removed that as well without any additional cost. This was by far the best experience I have ever with home repairs. I would highly recommend this company.

Crew was on time, ready to work and respectful of keeping our house clean and protected as they removed material. Vicky was great to work with - direct and frank (the nature of their business) with a great sense of humor. Crew removed material exceptionally well under hot and difficult circumstances. Got the job done on time and under the original estimate. Would suggest this firm to others if necessary.

Contacted Vicki at the suggestion of an acquaintance that held her in high regard based on a recent experience. My initial discussion with her went very well. Vicki was informative and pleasant and as a result I was anxious to have her come out and provide an estimate and likely proceed with 1 - 2 different jobs I had in mind. (She gave me an approximate cost over the phone which seemed quite reasonable). Vicki stated she could not schedule a time for the estimate right then but that she would call me in a couple of days to schedule an appointment and that she was very flexible (i.e. early morning, day, etc.). I never received a return call. One week later my wife contacted Vicki on a Friday given that she claimed to be working on a job in the same day each Friday and perhaps it would be convenient to have her stop by. Vicki explained she had my number in front of her but had been very busy and unable to call. My wife attempted to set up an appointment with her at that time but again she was unable to commit and promised to call the following Monday or Tuesday. Here we are another week later and no return call. My overall impressions are that Vicki is quite familiar with the business she's in, but her responsiveness leaves much to be desired. If she had no interest in the job (her company appears to handle more commercial) than I would have appreciated that upfront. Instead of wasted two weeks of my time and must now proceed to find an another contractor.f trying to schedule

Overall, using "General Environmental Services" was a very positive experience. The crew that performed the work was effecient. They were careful to protect surfaces and surroundings. A negative air chamber was created in the basement and the air was filtered many times to assure air born particles were captured. The pipes were coated to assure any stray fibers were encapsulated.

So, based on reviews made on this site, we called an made an appointment. Unfortunately, so was a no show with no phone call/message.

Vicky showed up at the appointed time, told us exactly how her team would remove the asbestos, and got the job done promptly. Afterward, one of her subcontractors tested the air in the basement and certified that it was free of asbestos fiber.

GES owner Victoria was easily reached by phone and was able to promptly arrange for a visit in order to give an estimate. She came to the house to see what work we needed done and gave an estimate on the spot. She was able to also arrange for the work to happen that same afternoon. The work was done on time, professionally, and done well! We would definitely use GES again for any further asbestos work and would recommend the company to anyone doing similar work in their home.

I wanted someone very reliable when you are dealing with safety issues. Vicki came out and looked at the property. She gave us a quote. Vicki ended up supervising. Vicki was very appreciative of her two workers. She was very knowledgeable. They moved some things that we could not. Since then, I have referred them to relatives. This company had the cheapest bid by far. They had it done in a couple hours. They made it easy for us. They were very timely. cost. She does the asbestos abatement.
