Casey's Chimney & Wood Stove Service

They came to the house to see what was needed and gave us an estimate. Once we agreed on what they were going to do they were at my house within a matter of days and did not leave until the work was completed. They were efficient, did not leave any mess behind, and were above all very polite and professional. I would definitely use Casey's Chimney Service again and recommend them to my family and friends.

Wrote an estimate to correct a problem with one chimney, discussed options for issues that were found with both chimneys and a wood stove........seems to know regulations and code compliance. done quickly, cleaned up after himself, the truck he uses to carry his tools was so organized and neat-very impressive.

Steve with his helpers worked efficiently and quickly. Basement was cleaned up after they finished. Good work and would use them again.

I called Casey's Chimney service and spoke to the receptionist. She gave me the impression that they were really not interested in my small job. Although, she never came out and said it, I think she made up the fact that what I needed may have to be ordered and it may be very costly. She said she would call back after she saw Casey later that day. I never heard back from her, so I called again the next day. She told me Casey would come out and look to see if it needed to be ordered. He never showed up and she never got back to me. In the mean time I called another company and they immediately came out and replaced the collar in under a half hour at a very reasonable price. . Nothing had to be ordered. It was a collar that adjusts to the size needed. I would never recommend Casey's Chimney.

Chimney was damaged during the winter. Chimney had not been cleaned for years. Mr. Casey was very professional. Accomodated my work schedule. They took great care in making sure that they cleaned up after their work was done. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

They came and cleaned our chimney - only to find that Ultimate Chimney Sweep had changed our chimney cap when they installed the shimney liner and it was the WORST cap they could have used. It was completely blocked because there was NO place for the smoke to vent properly. We then had to purchase the correct cap (which we had and originally bought from Ultimate Chimney Sweep for over $200.00 until they took it). Mr. Casey was very nice and professional and took his time re=piping and cleaning and everything is working great now. We will use him from here forward.

Casey's Chimney Service staff were prompt in returning my call. They set up an appointment quickly as well. They were thorough and were quick to clean up after themselves. They went over any questions we had and completed the job in a timely fashion. They were knowledgable and courteous. I would recommend them to anybody.

Mr. Casey did an excellent job. He was punctual, professional, honest, thorough, and extremely capable as well as being a kind and friendly man! I called him to inspect the chimney and clean the flues in preparation for a new boiler being installed. He told me the flue for the heating system did not need cleaning so he cleaned the fireplace flue only. He noticed some cracks in the firebox that he said could be repaired on the spot. After fixing those cracks and thoroughly cleaning the firebox he noticed a few more cracks which he repaired free of charge. He also recommended a double chimney cap to keep animals and water out of the chimney. His helper was able to install that in about 30-45 min. After the flue was cleaned he vacuumed, swept, and used glass cleaner on the glass fireplace doors. (He had also put down coverings on the floor to protect them.) I am very satisfied with his work and feel that $450 was a reasonable price to pay for all of these services. I would highly recommend Casey's Chimney and will definitely be using him again!

These guys were great. We had chimneys in our our new home inspected and capped. I actually called to have them cleaned also, but the servicemen who showed up were honest and reported back that none needed cleaning as they had minimal/no use by the prior owners. Prompt, friendly and informative to boot. I will definitely use them again.

After being strung along by ANOTHER company for over two months, we contacted Casey's Chimney and Wood Stove service through Angie's List. After speaking with them on the telephone, Casey's promptly evaluated the situation to make sure the crumbling liner did not obstruct the flue and present an immediate danger to us. We were given a bid that was much better than expected and included the reflashing of the chimney. Because the winter heating season was upon us, we were worried about lead time for the repair. Casey's expedited the parts and the repair. They arrived promptly, were neat, courteous and professional. We were given a warranty and information for our files and made sure we had contact information should we have future questions about their repair. In short, Casey's knows their business and does it well. We were VERY well please and would highly recommend them in the future.

My experience with Casey's was very good. I recently moved into my new home and I have never had a fireplace before. I called Casey's and they apologetically explained that they were quite busy during this time of year and made my appt. for approx 1 month away. Because of their good ratings on Angie's List I took the appt. anyway and asked if they could put me on a cancellation list. One week later I got a call that they were going to be on my street cleaning another chimney the next day and could they come then? Absolutely! I was very impressed with that customer service and with how clean they kept everything. They even gave me a fire starting lesson! I was very happy with their services and would definitely hire again.

He did a tremendous job. They quoted $200.00 more than what they charged as they quoted over the phone. He told me the flashing around the chimney needed repair and in the spring he would be able to repair it. He went out of his way to talk about generators as well even though he is extremely busy.

Overall this was a terrific experience as I had been told I would need about $1500.00 in repairs. Casey chimney service got it done quickly,and for a much better price. They were also very professional and punctual. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

They did a great job on the work. I felt like he was not scaring us into something and let us know what needed to be done and very knowledgable and they worked hard. Just great to work with.

My old oil burner was dead, and I'd decided to convert to gas. The first contractor looked at my chimney and said it was impossible. The second and third contractors both said it was possible, but only with a chimney liner that, because of my three-story house and slate roof, would costs several thousand dollars. I'm so glad I called Casey's Chimney for a fourth opinion. He came right out to my house, confirmed that lining the chimney would cost thousands, and started brainstorming ways to do it that might save me some money. Then he realized that I didn't need to do it at all, that I could vent the gas furnace directly out of the basement through the wall. Why didn't anyone else say that? Why would they assume that I would know that? It took the consummate chimney guy to tell me not to repair my chimney. I really appreciate that kind of honesty and professionalism, plus his willingness to help me think through the problem of getting a new furnace installed without spending thousands more than I needed to. So although I didn't use Casey Chimney in this instance, I would definitely recommend them as a contractor with the customer in mind.

I called two other service companies and never even got the courtesy of a return phone call. I got Caseys number, immediately spoke to someone in the office. The lady in the office said that someone would be out the following day to look at the job and give me an estimate. I received the estimate in writing on the same day , gave them the OK. a crew came Monday at noon. Did the job as per the estmate. The crew cleaned up perfectly both inside and out. NIce people, the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Could not give them a better review.

Very pleased. Cleaning was very thorough (with much of the stove pipe removed at the stove for a thorough cleaning, the previous service I hired did not go to that measure). They called me back quickly when I left message for an appointment and offered several convenient times for an appointment. Everyone was very professional and gave me a few recommendations for self maintenance as well. I will use them every year from now on.

Casey's crew and office staff were courteous and answered all of my questions--as a new homeowner, I had many! The crew arrived on time and worked quickly and carefully throughout the day. Once the work was complete, they reviewed the steps of the job and gave me a pamphlet and tutorial on fireplace maintenance and safety. The team made sure to tell me to call them with any fireplace related questions in the coming months--customer service seemed to be an important component of their business! I will use Casey's for all of chimney/fireplace cleaning needs in the future and will happily refer them to friends and neighbors.

Jim Casey made a thorough inspection and provided a written estimate for the work. He made sure that our questions were answered and began the work immediately which was done very professionally by a great team. The final cost was reasonable and within the original estimate.
