Description of Work: I thought I had a leak in the flashing of my chimney. Great people they came out right away and it wasn't a leak! Only the reflection of the silicone in the attic. I had a problem with mice in the attic and they pointed out where they were coming in, unrelated to the chimney. Very courteous and no charge! They were wonderful!

Description of Work: They were scheduled to clean our chimney/woodstove on Tuesday, February 10, but couldn't because there's too much snow. When I called to check in, they said they're purchasing snowblowers to put on their trucks to help avoid this problem in future. Everyone I've spoken with or worked with has been great - wonderful attitude, very professional, really responsive. They didn't charge me for the cancelled service call (even though it was cancelled on the spot) and I'll be re-booking with them as soon as we can.

The price was higher than quoted because of a problem they identified and I approved the work before they proceeded. Based upon the time they spent servicing the chimney and wood stove, I feel that the amount charged was completely appropriate. I will use this contractor again.

Since I already had contacted someone else she reviewed the proposal I had and indicated it was fair and that I should go forward with the work. Class act I would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: I called to have one chimney cleaned and a minor repair done on another one (we have 2 fireplaces). Casey's scheduled an appointment with only a few days notice, came on time, we very professional, and only charged me the minimum for a visit, saying both chimneys did not need cleaning. Overall a positive experience with this company.

Description of Work: Casey's came to my house to give us a second oppinion, because we were told that the inner core to our fireplace was damaged and needed to be replaced. They came out and checked the fireplace outside and inside, and told us whoever the company was that told us that - were wrong. They suggested that we get another cap for the other side of our chimney, and we did. They also said that the woodpecker we have had here the past couple of years, has chips on the outer edge of the chimney, and that he will be back this week to fix that, and sprayed it to keep the bird away. We found out, that we had Casey's here a few years ago, and that he was the one that cleaned and put the chimney cap on our chimney to begin with. Thank you to him for being an honest business man, and for not taking advantage of people.

Description of Work: Casey's is wonderful, he accomplished a repair on both my own home and my mother-in -laws home. Honest, punctual, ethical and great workmanship. One of the last of his kind. I would highly recommend Mr. Casey and his crew to anyone. No BS, straightforward. Repaired my Mother In Laws chimney, replaced the cap and fastened some loose shingles around prior installed roof vents, He was there because we thought the chimney had a leak. Then 2 weeks later he accomplished the same inspection and repair on my own homes' chimney, when he opened the chimney door - he found 4 feet of soot in the chimney, took care of all of it. And did a clean job. Both costs were reasonable and happily paid for a job well done. The above cost is for the completion of both houses. Excellent company. Thank you! Theresa Monacelli Albanese
