Description of Work: Jim came quickly as we had a clogged drain pipe backing up into the basement. He got right to work and solved the problem and was very courteous and detailed in explaining how the problem occurred and what we can do to prevent (or prolong) it's recurrence.

Description of Work: I had a clogged shower drain and a clog in the sink in the second floor bathroom. He cleared the shower drain first, however the sink was still clogged. He then snaked the sink as well. In both cases the clogs were thick hair and black goop. It took about 45 minutes from beginning to end. While he could have charged for both drains as I have experienced in similar situations by others in the past, he charged for just one drain which I feel was the right thing to do and as a result I am a happy camper. I trust him and would use him again.

Description of Work: Unclogged sewer drain (tree roots). We caught it early, but still running slow. Ran the auger thru both directions, brought up lots of roots. In and out within an hour. Fast response called at 2pm, here by 3:30 pm. Excellent work. When he left everything running fine and one week later still great. Even gave a senior discount.

+ -1 moreAs stated above - the plumber came and he unclogged the drain. Apparently one of our tree roots is causing the problem. He suggested to purchase the material that will cut into the roots and not clog the drain.
Description of Work: We had a clogged drain coming from the washer machine. He unclogged the pipe - took less than an hour.

He worked with Ralph Geiselman and we were certainly impressed with the professionalism of both companies. we would certainly called upon them both if another problem does arise. They both said that their work was covered if we find that something has gone wrong. That was nice to hear.
Description of Work: Gentleman came in the basement and realized that the clog to the drains was in the main sewer line. He went and got a machine to push the clogged material out to the sewer line.

+ -1 moreGreat experience with Jim! Professional, punctual, and a genuinely nice guy. I wish there had been a review for him already on Angie's List when I started calling so I could have found him sooner (people: write reviews!). Our plumber was out of town and our sewer line became clogged in a recent downpour. He was waiting for me when I arrived (from work) and got right to business investigating and diagnosing the problem and then solving it. He spent extra time ensuring that the tree roots that had infiltrated the system were well removed and that the area was clean. He's great about answering questions and I learned a lot in the process. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: Debris from heavy rains and infiltrating tree roots blocked the sewer line from the street to the house requiring the sewer line to be snaked and a sump pump pit to be remediated.

+ -1 moreTHE WORK THEY DID WAS EXCELLENT. THEY FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY AND TOOK CARE OF IT. THE PLUMBER KNEW EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS DOING AND TOLD US WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE BEFORE HE DID IT.
Description of Work: THEY CAME AND CLEANED OUT ALL MY DRAINS TO THE SEWER LINES.
