I called the Door Doctor to inquire about replacing 2 garage doors at my home. It took several phone calls and promises to arrive at my home before someone eventually showed up. I had 2 new garage doors installed. After installation, a garage door opener did not work. We called the Door Doctor to come out for repair. Again we were given a date, but of course no one showed up. It took approx. 2 weeks to get someone out to the service call. After the service call, a check for payment was mailed. Apparently the Door Doctor never received it. And so began the repetitive harassing phone calls, all because of $105. I issued another check on 2/20/13. As of today, it has yet to be cashed; 2 months later! The calls have stopped, yet the check hasn't been cashed. On top of all the issues with customer service, I have weather-stripping on my NEW doors that has fallen off and others that are about to fall off. I certainly won't call the Door Doctor again. They were unreliable, unprofessional, and the quality of work/product was sub-par. I don't normally complain, but this was not a good experience at all.
Description of Work: 2 garage doors were replace and repair was made to a garage door opener.

went well.
Description of Work: they came and diagnosed the problem which was pretty obvious, a broken spring. they did not have a replacement on the truck, I needed a right hand spring, they had a left hand. but they were able to install a gizmo which connects the broken spring pieces as a temporary fix. and replaced the hardware which travels along the screw drive. so I now have a usable garage door and all vehicles are outside and they will come back in a few days to complete the job. emergency part of job is taken care of, long term part will happen in a few days.
