M & M FURNITURE RESTORATION

We ? Dave and Lori! The furniture came out really looking great thanks to some suggestions Dave made. Lori stayed in excellent communication with us the whole time. Clearly Dave takes his work very seriously, he really wants it to look good. If you want someone who provides excellent work at a very reasonable price (especially compared to some of the other quotes we got) then this is your pick. One word of advice, if you have a strict timeline communicate with Dave and Lori when you contact them. They will let you know- we had some flexibility and couldn't be happier.

He did an absolutely beautiful job. You can't even tell which leg it is. It was perfect.

I contacted a number of woodworkers before I found M & M and I was getting really discouraged. Other businesses either didn't return my initial or follow-up calls/emails or a price was given over the phone without seeing the job. This might be a small job for some - one of the chairs had a split seat, and both were loosening at the crosspieces, but they were not useable as is, and they have some family/sentimental value to me, so no matter how small the job was to someone else, it was important to me. I was so pleased to find someone that would do this for me, and I LOVE the result. It took a little longer than David's original estimate, but frankly, I didn't care as the result is two beautiful richly stained and finished chairs that have retained their antique look, but now are sturdy, and fit in with the other wood in our kitchen/dining area. David even delivered the chairs to our house when they were done. Wish I had found him first, before the agony of contacting so many others, but now that I know about M & M, I will return next time we have a job. Recommended him to my cousins, too. Very reliable on scheduling, too.

Excellent! First class repair on every piece. I was not in a hurry and I knew when I took in the pieces to Mand M it would take some time to repair them. But I would prefer to be patient and get a high quality repair than get a rushed so-so repair. I was so pleased that I immediately took another piece for repair: a beautiful old gaming table that my Grandfather built in the early 1930s. David was excited to see the piece and cautioned me that the repair would be complicated and take some time. But his estimate of $500 was very fair and I am prepared to wait a few months for him to complete the job. I recommend Mand M wholeheartedly to anyone. Be sure not to expect a short turnaround. Quality work takes time.

They responded promptly to set up an appointment to give me an estimate. They picked up the benches within a few days of the estimate. The work was done within the time frame they had given us.
