I called Rawlings and was surprised how nice the new owner was. The new owner took full responsibility for the predecessor. Richard sent his floor guy to diagnose the problem. Steve found out that there was a mistake, or risky technique used during installation of the floor. That mistake caused the boards to push against each other. Steve explained everything to me very clearly and he worked very hard to fix the floor. He corrected the initial installation mistake. It took him four hours and two visits to my home. He was very nice, cleaned up after himself. The floor looks fantastic now. Best of all, it was all for free. A few days after the work was done, Richard called to make sure all was done to our satisfaction.

The rug had many buckles in it due mostly to it's age. Initially I was told that it could take awhile for them to get to me because of a busy schedule and the fact that they mostly replaced older carpeting and refinished floors. After several conflicting time schedules a date was finally set a few weeks later. They were on time, very nice, finished several hours earlier than expected and the best part was that it was $300.00 less than originally quoted!

We have used Rawlings many times for carpet installation in our home. While their prices may not be as competitive as Home Depot, you know you are dealing with professionals with years of experience, and installers who know what they are doing. We have had them install both carpet and linoleum in our home, probably three or four times. All installations went well, they arrived on time, finished before day's end, did the work for the estimated price given, and left us the remnants. We will use them again next year. They are that good.

The gentleman came out, measured all of the rooms, and had us go through books in the store. We were able to take samples home and try them. It worked out very well. We have a lot of windows in our family room. There is a lot of light, so I needed to see what the carpet looked like during the day and night. They actually introduced me to a product called Capture, because I was concerned about spills. We have used it, and it's a fantastic product that works. One day, I spilled a bottle of red nail polish. I was in a panic, and I called him. He suggested going out to get a couple of bottles of nail polish remover. With one bottle and a lot of rags, I got every bit of nail polish out of that carpet. They were even helpful after the fact, without selling me anything. There was also an occasion where oil pastels got on the carpet, and I was able to get a turpentine-like product that got the pastels out of the carpet.
