Ottomatic Landscaping

Great job!!!!!!!

I arranged to have Ottomatic Landscaping, contacted through ANGI Home Advisor, to do some shrubbery and grounds work at my property on April 2, 2022. We established a verbal price for the work, to begin at 9:00AM on the morning of April 2, 2022. The day arrived and not until 10:15 did anyone arrive. The next thing that happened the owner told me that all of his tools were not ready and some of his workers had to go and get bar oil for the chainsaw. No work was done to this point, and until the workers arrived back at 10:45, no work was started. After more time passed, some work was done,however only two of the four workers did anything at any time. At 11:45 the owner Otto stated he wanted to get paid, so that he could deposit the money before his Credit Union closed. I agreed to pay a little more than half, and the balance when the work was done. He left to make the deposit, and there were two dead trees that would be taken down while he was gone. The employes watched one worker cut the first tree and couldn't get it to fall. The other tree they stated was too close to my power line, and they were not comfortable with that. I took both trees down with my Backhoe, and they were to continue trimming and removing brush. I had agreed to pay for the dumping of the debris at the town transfer station. I did not realize that the time to take it there was coming out of the working time, so when they left at 2:45, only about one half of the agreed upon areas were. I asked when the work would be finished, and was told we never agreed on those areas, and the clean up of the areas that had been done would be done by the owner. He then stated that he would accept the already paid amount as the amount he was going to charge, and left. I never received an itemized bill or any bill. I researched the amount on Angi home advisor, and saw 2 hours for 4 people clearing brush,was to be $400.00. The dumping fees would be his responsibility. I proceeded to stop payment on the check for $25.00 I believe I owe Ottomatic Landscaping $375.00 for the terrible work done, and if contacted by them, will pay that amount.

Otto did a terrific job on short notice to remove a pile of loam in our driveway. I definitely recommend his company. He was very punctual and did a terrific job.

He called me immediately when he got the request, he told us what he gonna do and how long it will take and gave us the price. He supposed to come out last Sunday of August to do the job but we had a strong hurricane, this man came out Sunday with two other people and they did a complete yard clean up, this guys is professional, courteous, young and I cant say enough he was awesome.

Otto and his team did a great job clearing overgrown flower beds. They were punctual and very nice to work with. Otto is coming back to rototill in a couple of weeks. We were very please with the service.

We hired Otto to do yardwork. He cut our lawn this summer. He just did leaf pick up and cleaned the gutters on our 2 houses on the property. Otto did good work and I look forward to working with him again next year.

Otto responded promptly to my inquiry. Price was reasonable. He spread 25 yards of mulch within a week while we were on vacation. There were a few adjustments required when we returned and reviewed the work, which he promptly corrected. This was our first time using him and we would contact him again for large yard work projects.

He will be handling the mowing all season, doing spring clean up now and in the fall as well, He is very knowledgable and is an excellent communicator. You call Otto and he gets right back to you!
