The quality of the workmanship was top notch and they did their utmost to keep the work areas clean. The workers were professional and we felt quite comfortable with their being in our house while we were at work.
Description of Work: Sanded and stained existing wood floors in home. Laid wood floors in three rooms.

+ 0 moreThis team was polite, professional and diligent. We could see they took pride in their work and performed it in a professional manner. We are very pleased with the work performed and recommed them at every opportunity.
Description of Work: They stripped our hardwood floors in our living and dining rooms. Covered everything with plastic to the ceiling preventing a mess from the dust. In addition, they stripped our painted outside deck and three sets of stairs down to bare, pressure treated wood. Applied three coats of Arboritec water based polyurethane in our home and Benjamin Moore ArborCoat Translucent Stain on the outside deck floor. The team finished the living room and dining room floors in four days and recommended we attach felt to the bottom of all our furniture then helped us move the heavy furniture back over the newly finished foor. The outside deck was completely stripped over a three day period while they worked on the indoor floors. They were completely done in one week. We tried to spread the stain on our deck ourselves but it did not come out well. The New Grain owner (Bob), checked in on us a couple of weeks later, saw what we did on the deck and offered to strip the deck again and apply the stain professionally. We accepted the offer and they did a professional job in four days. They also cleaned up after their work was completed.

+ -1 moreThe estimate was delivered quickly and work scheduled promptly. The principal was very flexible and the work was completed in the time estimate provided. The workers were professional and cleaned up reasonably well. They moved the refrigerator and refinished under it without leaving any marks or scratches, and also added the first course of stairs at no charge. Only complaint is that they did not use vacuum bags on the sanders so there was light dusting of wood dust on the window sills, screens and other surfaces (but not on the floors)! The floors came out beautifully especially given their age. Would recommend this company highly, and the price was very reasonable.
Description of Work: Sanded and refinished 1100 sf. of wood flooring (oak and fir floors). Two coats of polyurethane. Floors had never been polyurethanes and had some old wax and shellac finish.
