I can’t express my appreciation enough to Phil and his crew! His professionalism and expertise are unmatched! I was able to coordinate with him from out of state on behalf of my elderly mom to restore her lawn which was left unattended for months due to another company cancelling service without warning. He promptly visited the property, gave me a very fair quote, sent me before and after pictures and even pointed out some areas of concern not related to landscaping so I can help my mom further. I couldn’t be happier with the level of service and his attention to detail. You don’t come by service like this much anymore. I’d give Little Rest an A+ if I could!

We have been working with Phil and the crew from Little Rest Landscaping since 2013 and they do a great job keeping our summer cottage looking great. They are punctual and we don't feel the need to be there to keep an eye on them. They are more than happy to work out a schedule with you to keep costs down if that is a problem.

It didn't. Contractor failed to turn up when agreed. Unsatisfactory exchange of emails and texts. Pressure to accept hourly rate before discussing the job or the contractor's capabilities. I'm no longer interested.

Job well done! Came on time and cleaned so well afetrwards that we could hardly tell they had been there.

We have been very pleased with our relationship with Phil and the crew at Little Rest. This is a summer home for us, so to have them come reliably is great. I don't have to worry if the work is getting done even when we aren't there to "watch them". Whenever we have ad hoc work, they take care of it and help take a lot of pressure off maintaining the property.

It went very well. He got the lawn as needed and occasionally trimmed.

Fabulous! Phil is so professional. He is very fairly priced, because the quality of his work is worth way more than he charges me. He is so usable. I never call him for lawn cars or leave removal. he seems to know when I need him here. I recommend him highly. You will be completely satisfied!

Phil left us a detailed description of what he thought the lawn needed and came prepared to start on day 1. Very professional and courteous. Dethatching made a mess (as it should), but when he left all was tidy and cleaned up. Next came aerating, fertilizing, and seeding in thin spots. Even though things have not really started growing yet, the lawn looks healthier and I'm convinced it will start greening up and filling in soon. Really enjoyed working with Phil and learning from him...plan on having him come regularly to aerate and keep the lawn healthy.

Phil is dependable, with quality work, and quick response to phone and email was somewhat dissatisfied with the leaf removal the fee was n$600-this should have been discussed before work was performed fee was high enough that I may have wanted second quote.

did a super job. it had rained the day before and i had lots of oak leaves (pin oak, with the spines that dig into the ground). yet he got it flawlessly clean. would definitely hire him again.

Excellent quality work. All lawn mowing is excellent, even includes alternating mowing patterns to keep the lawn looking interesting. Any ancillary landscaping has been done with great knowledge and skill, at a reasonable price. Very pleased over the years.

Hiring Little Rest Landscaping to do our lawn was one of the smartest decisions we made last year! Phil and Roger are hard-working, knowledgeable, reliable, honest and neat. On top of that, they are very nice people! They go the extra mile and the yard always looks great after they're done - a real joy! Roger also did a beautiful job trimming all our shrubbery at the end of the season and he left the place impeccable.

Phil and the team did a complete yard clean up for the fall. This is a new home for us, so we didn't have a chance to get to any of the fall clean up. I found Phil on Angie's List and he was able to come and to the job. He actually tried to come on an earlier date, but with the high winds didn't even attempt it as it would have created more of a mess in the neighbors yard. Not the first impression you want to make so I appreciated his judgement on that. They rescheduled for a few days later, came in and took care of the job. All looks good.

Phil was wonderful to deal with including most responsive communication, punctuality, affordable pricing, and, of course, quality of work performed. I very much appreciated him coming farther out than he preferred. I will not hesitate to contact him next fall.

Phil Schuck and a helper arrived for our regular lawn care program. One of them mowed using a commercial ride-on mower, while the other did the trimming with a gas-powered weed whacker. All grass clippings were blown off walkways and roadways back onto the lawn. I prefer he mulch the grass cuttings back onto the grass. Phil's prices are very reasonable. Our lot is a corner lot, 1/2 acre in size with our house and vegetable garden and plantings taking up some of the space. In addition, Phil recently core-aerated the lawn and over seeded. Upon my request, Phil uses a combination of grass seed and clover. Phil also uses an organic fertilizer on our lawn. He limes when necessary. He does a grub treatment only when necessary in the spring. And he does one pre-emergent treatment for crab-grass. Other than these two, our lawn care is entirely organic. The prices of the organic fertilizer is a little higher than conventional, but Phil's prices are vey competitive. Any requests like leaving leaves in the beds in the fall, for natural insulation over the winter, are respected. He is a competent and professional worker. His staff are very competent as well. I would recommend him and his services.

Company was very responsive,answered all call promptly,Roger ,who performed extensive weeding and putting down 15 cubic yards , was the hardest worker I have ever seen! Very nice to work with. Work was on time and exceeded all my expectations.All I can say is WOW!

I like them. They were thorough, excellent and reliable. They come weekly and we are using them for two years now. He is a really good guy. He does mowing, spraying and clean up.
