FOREMAN'S APPLIANCE SERVICE INC

Initially went well. Replaced idle pulley. However dryer would not dry clothes after repair. Called John Foreman and he became very defensive and stated it was a vent problem even tho dryer worked previously. Sears repair came and after another 100 dollars come to find out Foreman just forgot to connect a sensor wire when he reassembled dryer. Do not reccomend someone who does not stand by their work.

We have been doing business with Foreman's Appliance for close to 40 years. This company is forthright, honest and his prices are reasonable. I would not go to anyone else. They are a family run business and are very highly regarded throughout the community. They are just awesome. Yesterday John installed a new microwave. John asked me in an earlier call to confirm the time if he could come earlier, which he did!!! He worked quickly and cleaned up. We were using the oven as he left!!

He was not able to find out why the motor was not working on the dryer. We decided to buy a new one. My husband and I did not want to put anymore money into the dryer.

It was a good experience. The gentleman was quite honest and told me how to make the repairs via phone. He said he didn't want to send someone over for five minutes of work and then charge ninety dollars.

Oven controls partially shorted out, able to still use preset temps and stove top. My first call to Foreman's was late November; called them because we like to support local business if possible. The man who came out initially in early Dec. was very pleasant, thought it might take 6 days to get the part, they would call when it came in. Didn't hear from them, called maybe 10 days later, very vague answer. Called again and again, finally had my husband call, and we hear Jenn Air was sold to Whirlpool, they have to manufacture the replacement part, they'll call us. Meanwhile, all of the oven controls shorted out. No call, no update. Finally installed today (end of January), nearly 2 months after my initial call. Service men are very competent, my complaint is the very poor communication from the office. Why can't they estimate that it will take 6 weeks to get the part? Then at least I would know what I was dealing with. I also shouldn't have to have a man call in order to get results/information. $90 service charge for one visit (installation) which is fair, plus cost of the part and tax.

The technician they sent said we’d have to replace the machine altogether. However, a separate company was able to resolve the issue by balancing my washer. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend Foreman’s to anyone.

They respond very quickly. They are prompt. They come right out. We called him about eight years ago. Each time, they send the same gentleman. He works efficiently and quickly. He is very honest. I don't think we were overcharged. I think the price is probably average.

refigerator not holding temp. Called in the AM, described problem, office suspected defrost unit. Repairman arrived same day, fixed in about 1/2 hr

THEY RESPONDED REALLY FAST. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY DID THE JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE TRUSTWORTHY AND FRIENDLY.

IT TOOK THEM FOREVER TO GET HERE. THEN THE GUY WANTED TO STAND AROUND AND TALK ABOUT STUPID STUFF INSTEAD OF WORKING. IT SEEMED LIKE FOREVER BEFORE HE WOULD LEAVE! THEN I GOT CHARGED FOR THE TIME HE SPENT STANDING AROUND TALKING!

THIS MAN IS VERY EXPERIENCED AND KNOWLEDGEABLE IN HIS WORK. HE HAS FIXED MY FIFTEEN YEAR OLD DRYER SEVERAL TIMES AND IT ALWAYS WORKS. HE STANDS BY HIS WORK. I HAVE USED HIM FOR YEARS.

THIS IS WHERE I BOUGHT THE WASHER AND DRYER, SO I ALWAYS USE THEM IF SOMETHING BREAKS DOWN. I'VE HAD THIS SET FOR MANY YEARS, AND THEY SEEM TO DO A GOOD JOB OF KEEPING THEM RUNNING.
