 + -1 moreThe work was done very quickly and very professionally. The owner was wonderful. He met me at the house several times to answer questions I had about remodeling the home, gave me suggestions, and even explained to me how to do some of the things my husband and I were wanting to do ourselves. The crew was neat, cleaned up all the debris, and showed up everyday on time and worked continuously while on the job. They were honest, extremely helpful, and completely reliable. I will never use any other contractor but Messier Construction in the future. I just can't give enough praise to this company.
Description of Work: Bought a rental house that had structural damage, and needed the entire foundation in the front of the house repaired. Also took down a wall separating the Livingroom and kitchen, redesigned the staircase going to the second floor, took down a chimney and repaired the roof.

 + 2 moreHe did not follow my instructions in terms of estimating different projects individually. He also misquoted one component of the window job so I asked him to provide a re-estimate and he never did. He did not get back to me with a follow-up.
Description of Work: I got an estimate from Messier Construction for a variety of projects including fixing a crack in my kitchen ceiling, replacing some columns in my basement and replacing a window in my sunroom.

 + -1 moreThey gave us an estimate. They came on time. During the progress of their work, they did not do what we wanted but one of them quickly checked on it. So they revised their work and were able to meet our expectations. They were very responsive to what we wanted. It was a good experience all along.
Description of Work: I used Messier Construction/RRM Inc. last month to replace the sidings of my house.

 + 0 moreOnce again it was the best choice that we had made. The whole job was an extreme pleasure from start to finish. His crew is professional, skilled and polite; and their work ethic is second to none! The only extra cost that we paid was to replace the circuit breaker and outdoor receptacle that was faulty. It was very well worth it, and we were very lucky that it was discovered!
Description of Work: In November of 2011, we had the south side of our house shingled with prestained 1 coat system shingles. It looked fabulous! We decided that in the spring we would have the rest of the house done. On March 5, 2012, Rick's crew arrived on schedule and proceeded to shingle the rest of the house. He also installed two new entry doors that we had already purchased. His crew did an amazing job! Each day when they left, everything was cleaned. The house looks amazing and the doors that they installed were done with precison. The doors close so well, and are very well insulated that there are no drafts and even the heat stays outside! His crew is knowledgeable, polite, quiet, and very neat. It was a pleasure having them work on our house. Our next project, some time in the future, will be to remodel a room in the house. Rick Messier Construction is our contractor of choice!!

 + -1 moreIt went very well. After they were finished replacing the shingles and the exterior brickmoulding, you would not know we had work done. Everything was cleaned and the house looked amazing.
Description of Work: The shingles on the south side of our house were replaced with pre-stained solid stain shingles, and the existing trim and sills were replaced with brickmoulding. The house looks amazing. The workers were punctual, professional, neat and thorough. This was a job well done! We look forward to having the rest of the house done this Spring. Thanks again.
