II purchased a ClamDoor from Humphrey?s Building Supply Center, love it and am glad I did not settle for a traditional bulkhead for cellar access. Product quality and customer service were exceptional, after the sale customer support from Scott was unsurpassed and I simply could not be happier with my purchase or my buying experience at Humphrey?s.

Jeff Souza of Humphries met me on site to scope out work. He made it clear that his crew gets $60 per. hour. And that's seem reasonable. However, when he quoted me the work his price to install door was $1350, which included the storm door purchased separately. I had also asked for a price for Azek trim at the gable end of my house. So when I received this quote I thought it was for the front entry door, including the storm door, as well as the replacement of trim board at gable end. When I went to schedule the work, I reviewed price summary and at that time Jeff, stated it did not include trim at gable end; that that was $60 per hr. I advised Jeff, that I would seek other quotes. It really put me in a bind since the door was already purchased and ordered. And Jeff, became belligerent and unprofessional when he stated very arrogantly, you can't get your money back. While it was approximately 5:30pm, Jeff appeared to be drinking as he was slurring his speech. When I said I'm not happy and I would be calling the store, he responded arrogantly, that he has already talked to the owner and there's nothing I could about it, The price proposal of $1350 was outrageous and significantly higher than what I installed the door for. On a previous window replacement job I had with Humphries, I replaced all my windows with Marvin Integrity windows and worked with Dan Caron, Humphries. He was Excellent! Jeff Souza on the other hand, was unprofessional, arrogant, price gouging and appeared to have alcohol issues.
