Stanley Tree Service was actually performing a tree removal service for my neighbor. I asked for a bit of help in my own yard (the string on my flagpole had broken, and I had no way of reaching all the way up to the top to put the new rope in place without my own 'cherry-picker'). They were wonderful, came over after my neighbor's job was completed and helped me out, free of charge. These guys made my week! They did a wonderful job on my neighbor's house, and I will definitely use such a considerate and helpful group of guys for my own tree removal needs.

Very good. Stanley tree was very prompt in returnign calls, providing an estimatye. Very proferssional work was done. They did an exceptional job cleaning up all the cut trees. I priced several companies and Stanley had the best price. I would definitely use their service again, recommend them.

I had a large dead maple tree, a lovely old tree taller than my two-story house and probably 2.5' in diameter at its base, in my yard. Among other tree people, I called Stanley Tree. The guy showed up on time to give me a quote. He wouldn't proffer an opinion on the cause but when I told him the diagnosis from a competing tree service, he agreed: it was verticilium wilt, a root-borne fungus that can sometimes cause sudden death in trees. He quoted me on taking the tree down and off site as well as grinding the stump and 'chasing' the roots to grind those that bumped through the soil surface. His quote was $225 less than the competing tree service. I called their office two days later to accept their bid and was told someone would get back to me to schedule. I waited over the weekend and two additional days when the guy called me at work to say that, since it was raining that day and they couldn't do crane work at another job, he'd like to send his crew to my house to take out the tree. After he assured me that their truck would not hurt my lawn, I gave my permission, noting that since I hadn't known they were coming I of course hadn't left a check. He said no problem, just mail it in. When I went home I discovered the tree was gone and the stump had been ground down to grade. The layer of sawdust/chips that remained had been carefully raked level and, even on a rainy day, their truck had not damaged my lawn because of the mats they put down before they drove on it. My neighbor told me later how impressed he was watching them in operation as they took good care in each step of the process. All in all, a very sad day for me, to lose such a beloved friend, but a good day because I discovered a great tree service.

The service was a bit expensive. They didn't use the special equipment that they said they had to use in the estimate. They were excellent. They left everything nice and clean.

He was great. He was very reasonable and did what he said he would do. I would highly recommend him to others.

They were very professional and did an excellent job for me. I've used them more than once and they've been excellent every time. I like how they have all the equipment necessary to do their job. They are first rate and I would highly recommend them.

They did a very clean job. They were very punctual and very quick at their job. They did not take very long between the time they agreed on the price for them to come and actually do the job. They came very quickly. I would recommend them and my family has used them in the past.

From start to finish, this was a great experience. Stanley came out to our house to give us an estimate for removing a number of trees and shrubs on our property. We were able to schedule the work to be done within two weeks' time. On the day the work was performed, the crew arrived on time and the entire process ran very smoothly. The yard was left in good condition, raked and cleaned of debris. This was an incredible value and a very positive experience.

I have contacted Stanley Tree Service twice for tree work. The first time, last year, they were wonderful and got the work done in a reasonable amount of time. This year, I called and had someone out on 6/24. He gave me an estimate and I agreed to have the work time. The time estimate was 3 weeks. That was 8 weeks ago. Over the past 2 weeks, I have called twice to get an update. I was always told that someone would get back to me, but no one ever did. Today I called to cancel the service request, saying I wouldn't wait any longer. There was very little in the way of an apology and no offer to make it right.

Both the owner, Stanley, and the men who worked at trimming the tree(s) were very professional and willing to explain what was being done and to what extent. Stanley Tree has trimmed our maple over many years; and we believe, have been instrumental in its excellent health and beauty.

I called Stanley Tree Service in early Dec., I wanted to take down a very large maple tree in my yard..the owner came right out and gave me a very reasonable price....I called back the following week and set up an appointment for 12/20....it had snowed several inches the day before so I was expecting a call to cancel...I did not receive a call and the owner and 4 men showed up on time ready to go....they did a wonderful job and placed the wood neatly....they could not remove the core because the ground was frozen, but will return when the ground thaws... I called the office as I was not home when the men left, the owner was going to send the bill but I paid him on the phone....the receptionist is very pleasant and helpful as well...this was the best transaction I ever had with any contractor....A CLASS ACT !

They came out on Monday morning at 11:30 to give an estimate for doing the work. Originally, we had wanted the tree removed after a storm knocked over one of the 4 leaders of the tree on to my neighbors fence and koi pond. However, the person giving the quote inspected the tree throughoughly and told us that the tree was still in great shape and healthy it just needed a good pruning and if we were still worried about the rest of it falling over they could cable the other three leaders of the tree together. They came back that Monday afternoon and removed the falllen leader within an hour while taking special care of the koi pond. Then on Thursday, they came and pruned the tree and cabled it. The tree looks a million times better. Both times they came they were very professional and very careful of making sure the yard was spotless when they left.

They cleaned up once they were finished and were polite, reviewed the work with us, and even did additional trimming we had forgotten to mention during the estimate. Overall great job, and great price. We received bids as high as $1,700!!

I needed some tree removal work, in particular I needed a standing, but dead & rotten tree removed that was uncomfortably close to my house, as well as my neighbor's house. Every dealing I had with Stanley tree service was pleasant and professional, from the estimate to the actual work. They are fast and reliable, and they even spoke with my neighbors to reassure them about the removal process.

The owner originally came to our house to provide the estimate. Our back yard is not easily accessible, and we talked about different options for tree removal. Another tree company had previously said they could not remove these trees without getting a truck into the yard. Stanley looked at the situation and came up with a removal plan at a better price than the other company had quoted. They were scheduling a couple of weeks in advance at that point, so he said he'd call to schedule a date. About 2-3 weeks later, he called and scheduled the removal for the next day. His team arrived bright and early and took down those trees. The workers were courteous and made sure to clean up after they were done (we kept the wood, but the swept up sawdust, etc.). I was impressed with the skill and accuracy of the guy doing the actual cutting. He dropped one of the dead trees exactly where Stanley said he could, right between my composters and the neighbor's shed! If you need tree work done, I strongly recommend this company. They're a class act and do a good job.

They were excellent. They removed the stumps. The trees were larger than normal trees and they didn't leave a mess at all. They picked up every branch. They are very professional and punctual.

I had some trees trimmed, and it wasn't done until the leaves had already fallen to the ground. It wasn't until much later in the spring when the tree got it's leaves, that I realized that they hadn't cut all the dead off the tree. I can't really fault them, because the trees didn't get done until late.

They did a fabulous job. They even stacked the sections of the trees they had cut and cleaned up so well we couldn't even tell they had been here.

I skipped a worthwhile meeting at work to meet Stanley for an estimate at 11 am. He called at 10:55 am to say his prior job had taken longer than expected, and he would be unable to reschedule for that same day but would call me that evening to set up another time. You guessed it, he never called again(it's now been over two weeks). Had I been given more adequate notice, I could have gotten to work and still made it to that meeting. It's unlikely that he only became aware of the ''inability'' to make our appointment 5 minutes beforehand.

THEIR PRICE WAS HIGH, BUT ACCORDING TO OTHER QUOTES I RECEIVED, THEY WERE RIGHT AROUND OR LOWER THAN OTHERS. THEY DID A NICE JOB OF CUTTING THE STUMP RIGHT TO THE GROUND, AND CLEANED UP ALL THE DEBRIS THAT WAS LAYING ON THE GROUND.

I WAS EXTREMELY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR SERVICE. I REALLY HAD A PRETTY GOOD IDEA THAT THEY WOULD DO A GOOD JOB, AS I HAD WATCHED THEM TAKE DOWN A TREE FOR MY NEIGHBOR. I SAW HOW VERY CAREFUL THEY WERE, SO AS NOT TO DAMAGE ANYTHING, EVEN THE LAWN.
