The crew arrived on time (early!) and did a quick and professional job. They were safe workers and protected my deck and garden beds. They removed the tree without causing any more roof damage. I am very happy with the work done and their communication each step of the way.

I love these guys. They get right to work. they are efficient. They cleaned up well when done!

3 men came on time and spent the afternoon. Did a great job and cleaned up fantastically.

I originally gave this company a review of "F" on 08/01/17. [I initiated contact via email. someone from the company called me the next day, which I thought was great response time. During the call an appointment was made for the next afternoon but no one showed or called me. not very professional] They called and apologized and explained that my appointment was put in on the wrong date and told me if I wanted to reschedule for the inspection of the job needed she would, and if I decided not to reschedule it would be understood. This is why the "B" rating for responsiveness. Well I gave them a second chance and I am glad I did. Today, three guys showed up in two trucks a little after lunch, which is around the time frame I was given to expect them. We checked out what I needed to have done and they got right to work. They did a great job this afternoon on both my dogwood (where there was a lot of deadwood and it was close to the wires from the street to the house) in my front yard and my fruit cocktail tree which needed some TLC in the back. The cleaned up quickly and were on their way. The guys were very professional, knowledgeable, informative and to top it off, affordable. I recommend them for tree service all day long. Great job and i will call again when needed. Very pleased. Thank you.

It didn't. I initially called them scheduled an appt., they never showed or called. I called them the next day, they apologized said a piece of equipment broke down. Made another appt., never showed or called.

They were the second lowest price but the most responsive and professional. I got about 5 quotes. They are in time and very professional. In addition to the above they even chipped some old brush and took away three pines I had cut but didn't get around to removing yet. I asked that they leave the hardwood trees for me to burn and they cut them up to firewood size. They went above and beyond my expectations.

This company is extremely professional. I was happy with the work they did and would definitely hire them again.

Everything went fine. The estimator told me it would be about 3 weeks before they could get to the job, and that was about when they showed up. I was at work when they showed up but according to my daughter they were pretty quick and efficient. The trees were down right were I expected, and sectioned as I expected. There was no mess left from stump grinding, and no lawn damage from vehicles or equipment. My son and I were able to cut up and stack the wood without any problems.

It took them a month to come to do the job though that is what they told me when they came for the free estimate. The estimate was given immediately at the location. Three guys cut down a tree on Friday and two guys came to grind it on the following Tuesday. The receptionist was very pleasant on the phone and all the workers were very professional and responsible. They did the job so well that you don’t even notice there ever was a tree there. They cleaned very well after the work both times. I gave a "B" for punctuality because they came at an earlier date than they said they would for grinding, which was great, but could have been a problem if I wasn’t home. Overall experience with them was so smooth that I would hope all the other companies operate like them. Highly recommend to anyone.

Clem arrived with a detailed quote and marked all the trees for removal, he also explained to me the types of tress and landscaping I had and how to care for them (It was almost like an 30-minute arborist class). Jeff and his crew of three arrived right on time. The crew worked efficiently and thoroughly cleaned up the site before leaving four hours after they had arrived. They were all knowledgeable, personable, and polite. In fact there’s absolutely nothing I can complain about the entire experience (from quote, schedule and service). Description of work: Crew had to remove and climb several maple trees (forty plus feet high) overhanging my fence line. They also cut and left firewood at my request. I highly recommend Stanley Tree Service.

It went fantastically. I knew I had to do this project given the tree canopy overlapping the house was causing damage to the paint and allowing carpenter ants to enter the house. In the past other tree services have been slow to respond or could not commit to firm days to do project. In this case it happened I saw Stanley Tree's truck at a nearby house and liked how they appeared to be working. On a lark I asked if they were interested in doing an estimate while they were on my side of town. They gave me the sales managers (Dan) phone number to call and I gave information. 5 minutes later the team foreman, (also a Dan) was at my house to give an estimate. I was very impressed with his experience, knowledge and enthusiasm. He helped me to choose the job and showed me another small problem that needed attending to. They gave me a reasonable price which given the job required a 3 man crew with a bucket truck 3 hours to do seemed extremely fair. In what was a bit of luck they had time the same afternoon to do the job which worked out well for both of us. The quality of the job was superb and frankly exceeded all of my expectations. The crew was enjoyable to be around, knowledgeable and friendly with each member of the team able to answer my questions. They clearly enjoyed working together and the job they did. The cleanup afterwards was superb with absolutely no residue left from the tree cuttings. My happiness seemed very important to them and they checked in several times to make sure I was happy with the final product. Payment was easily done with a credit card over the phone I could not have been more impressed with Stanley Tree Service and look forward to working with them on a future bigger project soon!

They worked fast and did great work and cleaned up everything like it had never happened.

On the same day I called, they sent someone out to assess the project and provide an estimate. I approved the estimate and they took the tree down the next day. They did a great job, were cooperative with Cox (who was there to fix the communication wires), and cleaned up thoroughly. Thinking of bringing them back for more projects.

It went great. He was there when he said he would be there. The job was completed with no problems. The only thing that was a draw back was that he didnt take credit cards, but he worked out a payment plan with me.

Although it took awhile to schedule an appointment (our limited back yard access required a climbing crew), the men showed up on time and worked diligently all day. They were polite and respectful.

We are incredibly satisfied with Stanley Tree Service! Our yard had several very large trees that hadn't been maintained for a while. We contacted Stanley Tree Service to find out how exactly how much work needed to be done. Clem came out very quickly, and recommended that we aggressively prune the Norway maple that had several large branches hanging over the garage and obscuring the side yard. He also quoted us separately for the removal of 4 small trees, pruning of 4 large evergreens, and complete removal of a very large black locust that was rotting from the inside (apparently due to a lightning strike a while ago). The detailed proposal gave us options if we wanted to phase out the work, but we decided to do everything right away. We were scheduled within a week or so. On the scheduled day, there were 4 guys with a bucket truck and a wood chipper and it took them all day (these were large trees!). They were careful to use some mats to try not to damage the lawn, but with the truck, it was a bit inevitable (the lawn was already in bad shape due to too much shade, so it was not a big deal at all). They cleared out all the wood, except for the larger tree trunk that they left in pieces in our front lawn and was picked up the next morning. We were very happy with the results but wanted some leftover brush removed completely, so the next day I contacted them to ask that they finish clearing it. They were very accommodating and completed that within a couple of days. We could not be happier with the results, our yard looks ten times better! And now we know that the remaining giant trees in our backyard are not in any danger of falling on our roof (or the neighbor's). I highly recommend Clem's expertise and the Stanley Tree Service execution and attention to detail. We will certainly use them again when the yard requires!

The crew arrived right on time. John, the foreman, made contact with me immediately, explained what they were doing and where their equipment would be, and coordinated with other contractors on site so their vehicles would not be blocked by the tree removal equipment. Some of the trees were near structures, but the crew was very careful and nothing was damaged. They even moved a couple of lawn ornaments out of harm's way, and when they were done they put them right back where they originally were, all this on their own initiative. That's attention to detail. When they were done, except for the trees and damaged limbs being gone, and traces of sawdust here and there in the grass around the stumps, there was no evidence they'd been there. I've used Stanley for tree work before, and will use them again if I need more tree work done. Great work, and for a reasonable price--only $500 per very large tree, for which they had to have a crane and log truck to remove them.

Exceptional service for a difficult job. Another reputable firm turned down this job because the tree was very large, and very close to our house, deck, etc. and required a crane, but recommended that we contact Stanley. They were prompt in sending someone out for an estimate. They carefully examined the tree to be removed, as well as other medium and smaller pine trees on our property. They removed all trees the same day, and ground down the large stump a few days later. The job required using a crane to lift large sections of the tree over our the top of our house. The whole crew was extremely professional and careful throughout the job, and took care to not damage our lawn, etc. in the process. We thought the price was very fair, and the execution was flawless.

They came an cut down the shrubs in the fall of 2014 but never ground the stumps. I called to tell them (the price inclluded stump grinding). They eventually came back and ground the stumps, however they did not grind down deep enough. The shrubs are growing back on at least 2 of the shrubs. I've called them a number of times to tell them the stumps need to be reground and was told someone would be in touch to take care of them. It's been over a month, I've called a couple of times and nobody has called or come back to take care of this. Very disappointed.

Stanley tree service was the low bid for this work, and they did a great job. I was pleased with the final product, and they were able to do it in a faster timeline than they had initially promised me.

They did the job very well, I would recommend them to anyone. And we are going to using them again.

This was a very tall tree in a very hard to reach place. It was in the back yard sitting between my garage and that of my backyard neighbor. My driveway is very narrow, house on one side, stone wall on the other. Because of these issues Stanley's representative, Clem, came up with a plan that required the use of two of my neighbors driveways. The crane was in one yard, the bucket truck in my driveway and the wood chipper (and later the logging truck) in my other neighbors driveway. The crew showed up on the designated day, got all the trucks in place. Like a well oiled machine they disassembled the tree in about 4 hours. Totally professional, respectful of me and my wonderful neighbors and our properties. While way up in the trees in the bucket, they took the initiative to take down dead limbs of some nearby trees, protecting our properties from potential damage in future storms. When they were done they cleaned up all the yards, even to the point of using a leaf blower to clean the wood shavings off the garage roofs! After they left, the yards looked better than they had before! I would highly recommend Stanley Tree Service, again and again!

It took a while for them to actually schedule us. They are very professional. They worked steadily, I didn't see anyone slacking off. It was very cold and they still were working. My family is very big on using local service providers and these people are not to far from us. It took them a long time to schedule us but once we had a schedule they were there and they were working.
