Description of Work: A large tree next to house posed a danger with some overhanging limbs. Their guys came in a bucket truck and cut back where necessary and cleaned up nicely at the end. For sure, I'd call them again. Very responsive and professional. Price seemed reasonable for rather dangerous work and comparable to other work done by another tree service that I have used in Massachusetts.

Description of Work: We contacted Stanley Tree around Memorial Day last year primarily because we wanted to remove a vine growing along our house and up to the roof line. We also asked them to remove a butterfly bush and trim a tree, and they gave us an estimate for this work. However, when they turned up to perform the tasks they only removed the vine from the front of the house up to the roof line, but not from the edge of the roof, saying they could not reach that high (we have a 2-storey house). They trimmed the butterfly bush to the ground but did not remove it, and it is now flourishing again. They did trim the tree. We have mailed them a letter and photos about the unsatisfactory work but they have not responded other than to resend our bill. We would be happy to pay them if they did the work they promised, but based on our experience I would not recommend using them.

Description of Work: Took down a large oak and cleaned up dead branches off several trees. They also ground out a stump of a tree, took out a small choke cherry and cleaned up a tree that fell into our yard from the school behind us.

Description of Work: The owner was across the street with a neighbor and my wife was working in our yard. They started a conversation and Mr Stanley came over and looked at a rotting tree that was in danger of toppling into either the house ore the shed. He immediately agreed to a date, marked the tree, and marked three other trees who's roots were going to impinge on our foundation. The crew came as scheduled, worked quickly, courteously, and professionally, took the four trees down, and cleared every bit of waste away. The work and the price were outstanding. Highly recommended.
