We needed to have a new driveway installed and contacted several contractors. Dan from Nu-Look responded right away and came by the next day. He talked with me about the project for 45 minutes, giving me several good ideas. Soon thereafter, a very detailed estimate was delivered via e-mail. Dan followed up as we continued to solicit other quotes. Ultimately we decided on another high quality contractor, but I would of had no concerns with using Nu-Look. Every part of the estimate went smoothly and I assume the job would have gone smoothly as well.

Prompt estimate which was competive, slight problem with scheduled date- no rain but no call or show but work done next day but no call and we were not at home. Only criticism and confusion is they do Not honor their listed 5% Senior Discount- claiming that they are no longer members of Angie 's List and that AL does not remove inactive members!? They also do not pick up their advertisement lawn sign . I also did not know that a business listing on AL includes inactive members .

It went good. They did everything well. A lot of my neighbors have used them, so they came highly recommended.

They were very good to work with. I think at that time they had been the most reasonable that we checked out. The service was reliable. They were very dependable. The workers were very professional. This was the first time I used them.

They did an excellent job! It was easy making an appointment with them and they followed up with a call to remind us when they'd arrive. We have a very large driveway and the work was done very professionally. The sad part was a week later, somebody put two scrapes at the bottom of our driveway....probably Saturday night kids : ( We will definitely hire Nu-Look again.

The contractor recut the driveway which changed the slope and pitch. Water now collects and washes out an area of the yard. This changed in pitch added an indentation/depression which holds water and freezes as well as collected sand/debris. This area of dissatisfaction was brought to the contractor’s attention with no resolution.

For quite some time we had a water accumulation problem with our parking area and drive way due to the fact that the paving was done incorrectly. After, talking to a number of contractors and getting quotes we went with Nu-Look Paving. The reason we went with Nu-Look is that the sales representative, Artie Veliu, really took the time to address all our concerns in terms of explaining how the property would be adequately paved to get rid of any water accumulation. On November 11, 2015, the crew along with Artie came and proceeded to demo and repave the driveway. After the job was completed, Artie, using the garden hose , ran water to test the water flow. There was one spot that needed to be rolled, so on another day the Nu-Look crew came out and fixed that portion of the driveway. Since the driveway was completed, drainage had improved 100%. Again, we cannot say enough about Artie's expertise and honesty.

Nu Look delivered exactly what they advertised. The work was done on time and professionally.

Nu-Look apparently sent a person in advance to assess the pavement, but we never saw or discussed any specific needs with this person. It would have helped to have had a professional assessment at that time to have avoided the problems since. A crew of at least 4 people arrived on time and seal coated the area within less than two hours. The seal-coating looked good (and has lasted well these ten months -- that would have gotten an A), but many cracks remained unfilled. We took photos and sent these to Matt at Nu-Look. He replied: "I would not be concerned with this. These cracks are small enough where the sealer has gone in them and provided a seal. The crew uses their discretion on what to fill and what not to fill with the rubberized crack filler. As an additional courtesy due to you being a valued Angie's list customer we filled far beyond the included 40 linear ft." (Before this, there had been no mention of "40 linear feet." We would have been willing to pay more to know the job had been done properly and the cracks filled.) In April, after the winter, the cracks were worse than ever. We wrote to Matt and sent photos. He responded that these were "alligatored/spider-webbed areas." (Before this, there had been no mention of "alligatored/spider-webbed areas.") Two weeks ago, Matt wrote that we would get a call in May "to schedule the reseal of the driveway at which time I will make sure they fill as many of the cracks as possible." We are still awaiting that call. Angie's List has been requesting our review since last summer. We did not want to review their work when we felt fine about half of the job, but no confidence in the "crack-filling" part of the job. If Nu-Look makes good on this job, we would raise their grade and check YES for using them again. We encourage others to take photos and to request a professional assessment of your job up front. UPDATE The work described above was first performed on July 1, 2014. On July 13, 2015, Nu-Look returned and re-did the paving. (They had scheduled to come sooner, but the date was postponed by rain and then by our travel plans.) Their on-site supervisor explained that alligatored sections must be cut out and re-paved. We both recognized that it would have been best to discuss the recommended approach to doing these alligatored sections in advance. This time they did an excellent job. I had graded the original work a D, but the present work quality is an A. The responsiveness was eventually good (after we gave a low rating on Angie's List), but not when we originally raised concerns by sending photos in 2014.

No call back. My walkway contractor knows him and said he would get a hold of him and then get a hold of me. Still no contact.

They did a very good job. They were flexible with scheduling, and very professional.

They are very responsive. They came and did estimation, then scheduled a date right away. They took out weeds from the crack and taped. The drive way looked nice after their work. I am happy with everything except I feel the coating is not thick enough because after 5 months, the driveway shows sign of wearing mark where cars park.

Was quick to respond with an estimate. Scheduled and performed the work on a timely schedule. Work was performed and completed neatly and professionally in a timely manner. We are very pleased with the results and would be happy to recommend.

Very professional, they did a good job,rated responsiveness a B since I had to wait about 9 days for the job to be done, I think because my residence was a distance from their company or maybe they had a busy period.

This company did a great job on my driveway. The Angies List deal was honored easily and the extra cost for the uncovered square footage was very reasonable. The scheduling was easy and they came on time and did a great job. I'd use them again for any job that their expertise covers. Great experience, great product. Thanks!

David Harris of Nu-look worked with me on a delayed start date as I wanted to get some work done on a retaining wall next to the driveway first. He was most accommodating in rescheduling the work. The team arrived early on the 2nd and took out the old driveway, regraded and installed the new surface. The team was very professional in its work. The driveway looked great. About two days later, we noticed water seeping through the new tar in a small section of the driveway. And it got bigger and bigger. Long and short, the water line under the driveway, down about 5 feet, had a pinhole leak in it that had to have been there for a very long time. Dave had his team come in, cut the new driveway and dig down to the leak, had the town water department come in and replace the water pipe section with the pin-hole and fill in the hole. The dug up section of the driveway was resurfaced a week later. His team did a good job in matching up the two sections of the driveway, and although it now appears as two sections, once the sealer is placed on it next year, it should all look as one. Hat's off to the team in repairing the water leak and working with the water department to correct the problem. No question, hire Nu-look to do your paving job.

They poured 1,625 sq ft of driveway. They did two driveways side by side, mine and my neighbors. Eight people came out for the job with all the equipment. They did the whole thing in a day. They gave me a written quote and communicated very well through mail and email, a lot better than other companies I had gotten estimates from. Overall it was a great experience.

Used the Angie's list Big deal for $199 - have a big Driveway - so the additional footage cost an additional $106 - still a good price. They did a good job, except for a large crack in the driveway was not completely filled before sealcoating - so it doesn't look as good as the rest of the driveway. They came and priced the job and then made an appointment, showed up that day and completed the job. By the time I came home that day, they were closed for the day, but I left a voicemail about the crack in the driveway not being completely filled in - haven't heard back yet - but it is only Monday and the job was done on Friday. Will write another update when they call me back. Other than that - I am pretty happy with the job. UPDATE: This is an update to my previous review. Matt got back to me right away about the larger cracks in the driveway and explained that the rubbery substance used to fill the cracks can sometimes move/settle. Once I understood, the driveway overall looked great - almost new and it is a very old driveway. I had several people ask me who did the driveway because it looked so good. I will definitely hire again.

just got home to my sealed driveway....nu-look did a fantastic job........I purchased their 199 big deal for 600 square feet...my driveway is approx 2300 sf, so the total cost came to 585 with filling all cracks.....a definite value.....I will use their services again

They were very professional. Did a superb job. No seal coating on grass or wooden borders. EXCELLENT job. Highly recommended!!
