Eco-Friendly Roof Cleaning

Contacted the company through Angie's List and received a call the following day - Labor Day! I wasn't expecting to receive a call so quickly and on a holiday. We scheduled an appointment to get an estimate and agreed to hire the company for their services. We are so glad we did! The roof looks brand new. In addition to being professional and punctual, Charles gave great care and attention to the details of the job. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to use them.

Everything went well. I was contacted very promptly after sending an email through Angie's List looking for some general information. I was able to set up an estimate within a day. Price was very reasonable, and the Angie's List discount was nice. Charles was at my house about a week and a half later to do the job. He was quick and efficient and I appreciated his courtesy of accommodating my schedule that day. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

The owner, Charles L. Hareld III, is a total pro and perfectionist. He takes tremendous pride in his work and is 100% customer-focused. His assistant is equally hard working, completely professional, and driven to deliver a high end product which results in 100% customer satisfaction. From the estimator who came to the house. to their secretary who scheduled the appt., to the way Charles introduced himself in person before beginning the job, to his assistant literally hosing down every single window of the house and every single piece off flagstone outside the barn, individually, to ensure a perfect, profesional, spot free clean up, this company is a class act from start to finish under Charles' management. It's a small company and a tight ship that exudes QC. With Charles, the customer is still king. What a breath of fresh air. Angies List may be the best thing since sliced bread to put me in touch with this company.

Everything went well. I was contacted within a day of calling for a quote. Jim the salesman came out to my house on the agreed upon day and time. and gave a through review of the service. On the day of the work, Charles and his assistant showed up and went to work. They were very efficient and thorough. Both of them were willing to answer questions about the process. The job took about 1.5 hours. Steps included applying the cleaning product, rinsing off the roof, gutters and deck on that side of the house and then applying a treatment. Everything around the area was cleaned of debris from the process.

They did a great job. Arrived on time and were done in a couple of hours. Removed black algae , moss and lichen. Then they cleaned the windows and sides of the house where the dirt fell, including the decks. The roof looks brand new. Great job. Highly recommend them !

There were significant additional costs for the cleaning. I recall it was a couple hundred dollars extra. They did a very nice job and we decided to do the work even though it was more expensive than we expected. They suggested we do a roof cleaning every single year.

They responded quickly, arrived promptly, and provided a detailed proposal the same day. We hired EcoFriendly over 4 others, based on their reasonable cost, use of non-toxic cleaning materials, and lower-pressure rinsing to protect the shingles. The house is 2-story with a high attic, and the roofs are very steeply pitched. The owner, Charles, did the roof work himself with rock climbing gear, using a helper on the ground. They did a terrific job for us - I had no real expectation the roofs would look this good again. (My neighbors liked it, too. It had gotten pretty nasty.) A good company to work with. We would definitely hire them again if the roofs need any cleaning in future years.

We saw Eco Friendly Roof Cleaning at the Wilmington, MA Home show in October. We talked with Jim (sales rep) and filled out a info sheet. Jim called us and set up an appointment. He looked at our roof, and stated that the Lichen could be removed. He gave us a sheet with the price and a copy of their insurance certificate. It was a fair price and we signed on. He stated that it would be a couple of weeks before the work would be done. We received a call from the Eco Friendly Office and set up a time. Charles (the owner) and a helper came and cleaned the lichen off our roof. They were professional and took pride in their work. I am very pleased with their work, and our roof looks good. We have a ranch style house in Peabody , MA.

They arrived on time, explained what they were going to do and were very careful about cleaning up afterwards. My roof looks dramatically better, almost like new. This was money well spent. I would recommend them highly.

It went really well the roof looks outstanding. I had no issues, and if so it was my own fault because I asked them not to clean my balcony before they left because, he would of had to go through the house in order to get there and I wasn't going to be home when they got done with the job. So I asked them not to and maybe they took that as, not to do the rest of the yard, I can't be sure. Other than that communication, timing, and results are all A+.

Timely response to set up the appointment for the estimate. Provided a reasonable estimate but we went with another company that could start the job quicker.

They did a wonderful job. My roof looks just about brand new. They were neat, professional and courteous and traveled all the way from Rhode Island for this job (north of Boston). I have a very large home, thus the price. I found the price to be quite reasonable based upon the height and size of my roof. Their services include return trips to maintain the cleanliness of the roof at a fraction of the cost of this initial treatment. Removing the mold and lichen will extend the life of my roof, and I am very pleased with the service.

Very good experience, everyone I dealt with was professional and easy to work with. The gentleman who gave the estimate explained the process to me and provided proof of insurance. It was middle of the road in terms of other estimates that I received. We scheduled the work, but they were actually able to come out even sooner than scheduled, which was great. The roof looks terrific, all the black streaks, moss and lichen were removed. The gutters were cleaned, my walkways cleaned of any debris, and none of my plantings were affected. I'm so glad I got the roof cleaned, my house looks so much better.

The process was simple and quick. Eco-Friendly showed up on time, started cleaning right away, answered any of my questions regarding the service. He was quick and efficient.

The person who came to estimate the job was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. We chose them because of that and because they use no toxic substances. We were concerned that the plantings around the house would not be harmed. The job itself was done very well. The two people doing the job were also prompt, did a very thorough, good job. Very neat, rinsed the windows and gutters as well at the end. The roof looks new. The plants were fine. And they took care not to trample the flower beds surrounding the house. We thought the price was moderate and fair. Very pleased.

Charles and his assistant came. First off what a nice guy, very respectful and knowledgable. I ended up watching most of the process that took about 1.5 hours. After he left and the roof dried, all I can say is "thank you, Charles". My roof and in general the house is looking back to new again, Money well spent! I totally recommend Charles if you are looking for a clean looking roof! Totally beats putting a new roof on, he just saved me thousands,

He even tried calling to find out what kind of a product would remove it.Service above and beyond the call of duty. The other Co. now out of business.

The work went very well and all was done in record time. The whole job took about 2 1/2 hours.

Using safe products and power washing, they removed a 1 inch layer of moss on part of the roof and removed all the dark brown and black mold stains on the whole roof. The work is good for 3 years. Very nice crew, very professional, very happy. The house looks great...like a new roof.
