It took about 2 weeks to get an email and I could not open it up. A week later I called for a hard copy.

Carjon was the third of three bids we received for a new central air installation in our house. The sales rep Alan did a terrific job. He measured the entire house and entered everything into a Manual J calculator program on his laptop. When done he wrote up a professional proposal and price. His two competitors spent much less time reviewing the job and did not use a calculator. Right there we had much more confidence in Carjon?s ability to satisfy us with a successful installation. Alan was courteous and very patient with us. He answered every one of our calls and every question we had without ever pressuring us to buy (unlike his two competitors). Carjon's price was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. They were $600 more than the cheapest bid received but based on the equipment they use, their reputation, and a very professional sales proposal, we chose Carjon. Next, Carjon sent a person to layout the job, marking where all equipment and vents would be, arriving at the house exactly when they said he would be there. Two weeks later a team of three installers showed up. Again, arriving exactly when they said they would be there. The crew was extremely clean and professional. The work they performed was neat and high quality. When done, you couldn?t tell the AC was installed after the house was built. They laid down drop clothes and completely cleaned up after they were done each day. One tiny note is that Carjon runs all external pipes and wires through a downspout (similar to a rain gutter). Though their competition does the same, Carjon offers a variety of color choices where their competition only offers white. This allows the equipment to blend in with your siding instead of being highly visible. The only thing I can ding them on is that the job took several hours longer than expected because their electrician drove a staple too deep and broke a wire. The installers had to spend a few hours troubleshooting the job and then had to rerun new thermostat wires. The unit has been working for a few months now and does an excellent job cooling our house. We are completely satisfied with the job and are glad we chose Carjon.

We had hired another company.....Affordable ....... who cancelled three appt. on us and wasted our valuable time waiting for them to show up. They were also listed on Angie's List in the first position. It is after their third cancellation I decided to call Car-Jon. I cannot express enough how totally satisfied we are with their overall service. I would not hesitate to recommend Car-Jon to anyone and we have already made our follow-up appt. for next year.

The work was totally completed within the 2 day schedule given. Except for the time that they turned off the water to connect the new system we hardley knew they were there working in the basement. Their crews were friendly and professional! They even swept the basement floor when they were done. While they were not the lowest priced contractor ; the QUALITY of their work and the attitude and professionalism of their crews was outstanding! I would highly recoment CARJON for any heating or air conditioning work you need done.

My ground floor a/c high pressure switch on the outside compressor was shutting off on really hot days. Two summers ago I had it looked at by the company who installed the units. They couldn't figure out the problem, but suggested that I replace the fan motor although they couldn't explain how that would intermittently trip the high pressure switch. Since the estimate for replacement was $350 with no guareentee of a fix or a logical explanation of reasoning, I held back. The next summer I had a full kitchen and bath renovation and just reset the high pressure switch when I got home.This summer I got Carjon's name from angie's list and called them. They were polite and responsive The first technician couldn't figure out the problem but found that my condensing unit inside the house needed cleaning. $172 plus the $89 service call and my pressure switch was still tripping. When I called them, they sent another technician. The second technician tested everything again and found my capacitor was leaking oil. He had already replaced it when he showed it to me and informed me that my voltages were much better with the new capacity. They charged me $199 to replace the capacitor, but if it will fix my high pressure switch, I'm happy. Unfortunately, it didn't. I was a little frustrated and thus somewhat curt with the poor girl who works the service phone lines. She was calm, understanding, knowledgeable and professional. They sent the same technician back out. He retested everything and this time he also decided to test the pressures in the system. What do you know - the pressures where getting too high and tripping the high pressure switch. He bled the system and that fixed the problem. No charge for this visit. THEY WERE PROMPT, KNOWLEDGEABLE, PROFESSIONAL AND DID FINALLY FIX MY A/C. I HAVE DEALT WITH AT LEAST THREE OTHER HVAC COMPANIES, EITHER THROUGH MY HOME OR OFFICE, AND I WOULD DEFINITIVELY CALL CARJON THE NEXT TIME I HAVE A PROBLEM. NO ONE IS PERFECT AND NO ONE WORKS FOR FREE, BUT THEY WORKED HARD TO MAKE ME HAPPY.

They installed the system three years ago and they check the heating in the fall and the A/C in the spring. I would use them again.

Two workers arrived at 8 am on the morning of July 10. I was told it would be a 1-day install and they left at 5:30 pm with the job complete. They explained how to turn on the system, cleaned up and left us to our cool house.

I kept reading on-line about possible problems and everything pointed to a new compressor, so I prayed it wouldn't be, all day I was sick to my stomach thinking it would be a $1500 repair; but NO it wasn't the repair was $156 for a bad pipe of some sort, the representative was polite to my wife explaining everything and even giving some pointers to help us save money on energy.I would use them again in a heartbeat...they were GREAT!!!

They are excellent. They are very good. They put in a new heating system a year ago. I found them probably on yellow pages. We interviewed two or three different companies but we liked Carjon the best and we hired them. We are planning to use them again.

I liked him. My center air motor just went off one night and made weird sound. I called him and he was able to schedule me in pretty soon like over the weekend. He came in fixed the motor. He had the parts ready to go. The guy was very courteous and actually very helpful. I got locked out of my house and he actually helped me get into the house. He lend me his ladder and helped me climb up from the window. He was really helpful. He was very professional. He got to know the problem immediately. He gave me a call before he arrived to make sure I'll be there. He pretty much got the work done very soon. His price was pretty reasonable and he was very punctual. I would use again him for sure.

First, the initial visit and estimate done by Michael was very informative, with no pressure and several options at different prices. He gave me detailed information on all current state and federal rebates. There was a follow-up, again with no pressure. When I decided to make the purchase, they were responsive and I had my choice of installation dates. The actual installation required two visits. The heater was installed on the first day and the A/C was installed a week later. While I had hoped the job could be done in a single day, it was a large effort and the extra day was reasonable. The installers were polite, professional, and obviously very experienced. I will say that the basement was not entirely cleaned after the installation. There were some remnants of the process, but it was not significantly dirty. I had to vacuum after each of their visits. Not a big deal. I have since had a service call because of a noise I heard when I turned the heater on. Again, they were very responsive and it turned out that the noise was static from the air filter, which was normal. The technician checked everything out while he was here and again, he was polite, professional, experienced, and informative. Carjon installed my first A/C unit years ago and I was so impressed with that installation and all subsequent service, that I went right to them again when it was time to replace my heater and A/C. My experiences with this company have been entirely positive and I recommend them without reservation.

We had a great experience, start to finish. Price was reasonable, particularly with the rebates involved and the size of the system. We were provided several options to choose from and never felt pressured to choose one over another. Install crew was very professional and cleaned up so well you'd never know they were there in the first place. I've recommended Carjon to several people and will continue to do so.

They were excellent. A lot of places wouldn’t even provide an estimate. They weren’t a discounted contractor by any means, but they were competitive for the service they provided. I would recommend them.

They cleaned out the burner and did some other stuff. I thought they were good. The guy gave me options. He said I could do this or that and gave me prices so I thought that was pretty reasonable. They were good and I haven't had a problem.

Called Carjohn, scheduled appointments, they cancelled twice. Each appointment took 2 or 3 weeks to make, NO consideration that CARJON had cancelled appointment, When they finally showed they wrote an estimate on the back of a buisness card. When I called to follow up, they NEVER returned phone call. A total waste of time !!!!

Awful. They have not responded to repeated requests (both by email and by phone) for the follow-up information we requested. This would have involved a significant expenditure. We are clearly not going to use this firm and given their refusal to respond to repeated efforts to contact them, we would caution others against using them as well.

Very professional and helpful. Only small issue is that it took a number of days to get an appointment.

Technician came in a determined that we did not have a gas leak. He was very thorough.

I tried to use this company, the salesman was an hour late for our meeting. I had to call twice, 2 weeks and 3 weeks later, before I finally received a quote. I would never use a company that I had to try that hard to do business with. Additionally they were the most expensive quote as well.
