These guys were awesome. From the quotation stage with Rob through to installation with Frank and Eric, they were incredibly professional and a pleasure to work with. Of the three companies to bid, I thought Carjon provided the most well-thought out solution for our needs. I am really happy with the system and the service.

The service men (Steve, Carlo and Randy) arrived promptly at 8 AM. They introduced themselves to each member of the family. They laid dropped clothes across the entry way and my kitchen floor to bring the equipment in. They immediately brought the equipment into the attic where the unit was being installed. They worked non stop from 8 to 1 pm, took 1/2 hour lunch break came back to work until 3 pm when they stopped to clean up any mess (cleaned as they went) that was left. Returned Friday at 8 AM and continued working until 2:30 pm when the job was completed. Steve showed us how to change the filter on the unit. Randy explained how the system worked and showed us how to set the thermostat and how to change it if necessary. I would recommend Carjon to my family and friends. I have nothing bu the highest praise for the 3 young men who were in my home to install the unit.

Things went well with the service performed. They indicated that I may want to look into getting a furnace that is better suited to the house. I had them come back for a quote on that as well as central air installation. I will definitely consider them if I decide to more forward with additional work.

I am very happy with them. They do an inspection twice a year. They replaced my central air unit 5 or 6 years ago. They maintain my heating and air conditioning units. I have a plan with them. It is not mandatory but it is a pretty good deal. They are very responsive and very professional. I've used them for years and I wouldn't use anybody else.

Very knowledgeable and responsive estimator (Al) helped us pick out the appropriate system for our home. The installation crew (Frank and Mike)arrived right on time, and explained what they would be doing, put down drop cloths and went straight to work. As they were finishing up their installation, the electrician (Mike from Gambit) arrived and asked me questions about the electrical and asked me to show him to the electrical panel. Mike ran the electrical, and when he was done, I couldn't tell he was even there - very neat! Frank showed me both parts of the system, then explained to me how to use it as well as maintain it. Frank and Mike picked up their drop cloths and they were done (about 5 hours for the whole job), leaving our house just as clean as when they got there. A VERY professional job. All in all, a very positive experience, and I will certainly call on Carjon for any future needs. I highly recommend them.

They were great! Showed up on time, were very polite, didn't play music while they worked, and were even friendly to my dog, so he wouldn't bark the whole time. They worked quickly and diligently. Clean up after was very good. I'm very happy I chose them. They also helped save me $500-$650 by making applying for rebates from National Grid extremely easy. Would definitely recommend.

INSTALLED 3 ZONE SPLIT A/C HEAT PUMP. WORK WENT VERY SMOOTH ON TIME AND NO MESS. WOULD RECOMMEND. OWN RESEARCH ON PRODUCT AND INSTALLATION WAS VERY BENEFICIAL. INSTALLERS ANSWERED QUESTIONS PROPERELY. IF I NEED SERVICE WILL HAVE TO WAIT TO SEE HOW THAT GOES.

Two problems. Left us with written and verbal information to buy a specific size filter for our furnace--16x25. The space we were to put it in was about 12 x 12 and 20' deep. Virtually impossible. Several emails and phone calls later with office worker arguing that it was correct. Worker, himself, never responded to our emails. Had to have a second company come out only to be told that they had no idea why anyone would ever tell us that-it was the wrong size! No amount of twisting or bending (which they told us over the phone to do) was going to jam a 16 x 25 filter in a 12 by 20 inch space. Second company also pointed out where furnace was not thoroughly cleaned. Second issue: Worker left telling us he couldn't really clean the 2nd furnace because it was "full of mouse droppings" and he did not have a vacuum or mask. He reiterated over and over the dangers of breathing the poisonous mouse poop vapors circulating through the vents and into our air. He instructed US how to clean it--not the way, I later researched, the EPA recommends. BUT, it was a moot point because we then hired a pest control company to come out and, low and behold, the "mouse droppings" were actually pieces of debris from asphalt shingles from our new roof. To the worker's credit, there was one single mouse drop which was quite old. When I brought these concerns to the service manager at CarJon, she offered to return our first installment and cancel our contract. This, we are happy for!! However, no acknowledgment of any errors and no apology for the hassle and expense of calling in other companies. Still, we have no validation from the worker or the company that they did anything wrong. We understand people make mistakes, perhaps the worker was new, etc...But, no apology. That would have gone a long way and I would not have written this review.

From the initial quote to the installation, everything was top-notch. I was informed of all applicable rebates during quoting, and was quoted less than with another dealer. One word of caution - they are very busy, so I had to wait about a month from when I signed the quote to the install. They arrived on time on the day of the install, and the two installers were very knowledgeable and respectful of my property. Moved all my furniture back to its original position, cleaned up - was like they were never even here! i would recommend Carjon if you are looking for a decent price, and professionalism, and smooth process from start to finish!

I was extremely please with the professionalism, organization, quality of work, communication and value of the work which done on my home. I used to work as a contractor in RI, and I now reside out of state. I have a family member who is a contractor in RI and he recommended Carjon to me. I also obtained quotes from other HVAC companies in RI. I decided to use Carjon because they sell American Standard products which are rated highly by Consumer Reports. Carjon also has a large service fleet. The initial sales person did a layout of the entire property, inspected the 1980 furnace and listened to my concerns. I knew that I was interested in a two-stage furnace with a variable speed blower, and 97% efficiency. The sales person was able to educate me about the various options for central AC. The quote took about a week, which seemed to be standard. It came via e-mail which was extremely convenient. I also explained that I had obtained quotes from other companies, and Carjon did beat the price of their competition. Carjon offered a superior product at a lower price. Once I sent mail a deposit, Carjon contacted me and I met with an installer. I needed some additional electrical work done to accommodate the AC, and they also re-routed a gas line so I could add a gas dryer. The installer laid out the job, then set up an installation date. The installation crew arrived on time, left the work area spotless and left without any damage to the interior of the home. My furnace is located on the first floor of my home, so expected that some touch up painting might be needed. But, NOTHING went wrong -no scratched doors, no chipped paint, no glue on the floor! I paid the bill for $9000 which included mini-breakers for my electrical box, a new American Standard 60K BTU furnace at 97%, a thermostat and a 2.5 Ton Gold AC unit. Carjon even filled out the National Grid rebate paperwork and mailed it to my house. Most importantly, the sales person arrived on-time, and answered my e-mails and phone calls in a timely fashion. They were great!

It was an excellent experience. Great service, with a very attentive team. Was very careful in duct placement in house so that impact was minimal. Installation was very neat. This was done two seasons ago, so we have a clear picture of the end result. End result is a very cost efficient system that exceeded our expectations. We couldn't recommend more highly.

This is the second time we have used Carjon. The first time we dealt with Carjon was in 2003 when we had air conditioning installed in a previous home. They are truly professional and very easy to deal with. We would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

Carjon was most impressive through the entire process. The bid was competitive and they had a variety of options for us to consider. After we settled on the specific installation, they took a deposit for 1/3 of the cost and set an installation date. The installation team showed up as promised and began work. They were sensitive to our aesthetic concerns, to keeping the cats in the house, and of course, to the effectiveness of the system once installed. They laid floor covering down to protect the carpets and demonstrated genuine care of our home. Everything went smoothly once we worked out some of the details necessitated by our particular house and they finished the installation by the day's end, completely cleaning up after the work including vacuuming all the areas they had worked in and even vacuuming the areas they walked through. The kitchen floor was left cleaner than when they arrived! The entire company clearly operates as a team to serve the customer. This is exactly how things should work but often don't. Definitely recommend to others.

I have owned my house for 4 year now and the compressor was diagnosed by Petro to have an open coil. I called around and got three quotes. Carjon was the best price by far (I was surprised since I knew they were one of the best around). The salesman was great (Allen) who came out and gave me a couple of options (high efficiency with rebates or a low efficiency system). A few weeks later two technicians came out with all the materials and explained the job. They were professional and clean. They laid down tarp and kept my floors clean while entering and leaving the house. They removed the old system and let me keep the scrap metal (note: This was $75 in scrap). They put down a new fiberglass foundation along with the new compressor. They replaced the air handler and over 25? of copper tubing. They brought in a master electrician to replace the breaker in the box since it was overrated. They charged and tested the system and made sure I was happy. The only hiccup on the job was that I needed a remote air filter installed (this was left out during the initial review of the job ? the new air handler don?t have a filter tray). The techs had someone build a filter slide out connection at the shop and had it delivered to and installed before they left. The total job took approximately 7-hrs. I would recommend Carjon for any HVAC work they are the best at what they do. Every company should operate the same way.

The team arrived at 8 am. They were pleasant and helpful. One of the men explained and showed me what they were going to do, and then they went and did it. They cut holes in the ceiling of each room for the vents and used a box under the hole to catch the dust and debris. One was outside installing the condenser; one was in the attic putting in the vents; one worked on the new thermostat installation. An electrician came to adjust the circuit breaker box. They used a drop cloth where the exchange was installed. After the project was done, one of them swept the floor. They were done in just over 4 hours. (My house is a small ranch.) I was quite delighted, and the system works beautifully.

They are my regular heating/AC company and have been so for many years. So I am a regular customer of theirs. I am completely satisfied with their service which is prompt and always excellent. About 6-7 yrs ago they replaced my entire furnace/AC system that was quite old. Their price was excellent and the system they installed is very energy efficient and saves me money each year.

We have had an issue with our 1st floor AC ever since we had the system fixed by another provider back in 2002. We've had numerous companies here to try to fix it but to no avail. Last year, we asked Carjon what we would need to do. They gave us a price on replacing the 1st floor system that was honest, and affordable; next year we will replace it. For this year, they refilled the refridgerant for us. I will never use anybody else

As I sit in my cool, comfortable kitchen, writing this review I want to thank everyone from CarJon for the wonderful job they all did. From Rob, the salesman, to the crew who installed the central air conditioning system, there was complete professionalism, old-fashioned courtesy (as each workman entered my home they introduced themselves, imagine!) promptness and knowledge of the work they were there to do. The system was installed on one of the hottest days of the summer and my crawl space must have been 140 degrees by the time they finished - not a complaint from anyone - just smiles and "Don't worry we'll get it done today." They sent extra men to help install because of the heat and as the day progressed from an original crew of 4 I think I ended up with about 9 men including electricians. I can't say enough about this team, and when I need to replace my heating system, they will be the ones I call. Thank you John and your whole crew!!! I am amazed and delighted that there is still a company that holds to old-fashioned work ethics like CarJon.

They showed up on time and did a thorough inspection to determine why the air conditioning was not working. We mentioned that we wanted to sign a service contract that day. The technician fully explained all the details of the different contracts they offer so we could make the right choice for our family. We now have peace of mind that should we ever need to make a service call, we will get prompt, courteous service.

They were on time and professional from the appointment for the estimate to the complete installation. I am very happy with their service, and will use them in the future.
