I installed an inground pool last fall and had an electrician complete half of the required work. This spring when it was time to open the pool and finish up the rest of the electrical service he was difficult to get in touch with and would not commit to completing the job. I logged on to Angie's list in a panic because the entire project was now being held up by this piece. After contacting 27 electricians in RI/MA I found that most would not be able to get to it for 4 weeks, some never responded, and some just said they were too busy to tackle. One company answered immediately (human not answer service) and sent someone out on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and that was Positive Energy Electric. After explaining my dilemma to Jay he worked with his schedule and was able to come out in 4 days to start the job. Jay and his partner were very professional and knowledgeable. They finished the job on time and went above and beyond with a few extras and best of all, no pun intended, with a POSITIVE attitude. Absolute pleasure doing business with them. Would use again in a second!

I was in email correspondence with Jay for a couple of days which he went above and beyond answering all of my questions. In addition Jay came by and gave me an estimate after looking at my 100 amp electrical system. The next day i scheduled an appointment for the upgrade of the electrical system. The day of the schedule service Jay and his employee arrived at my home 15 minutes early. They work diligent and in a professional manner. The job took roughly 6 hours. After they were completed i informed them my door bell became INOP the week prior. Jay looked at it and diagnosed it and explained to me which part I needed and how to fix it. Positive Energy Electric Inc. does 100% A+ work. Everyone needs to use them for there Electrical needs, They will not disappoint.

Jay and his wonderful wife got back to me right away and came within 2 days - he got to work and addressed all my requests within one hour. Extremely professional and hard working. Made some helpful suggestions/observations for future home improvement projects to alleviate possible future problems in my basement.

I only got and estimate due to the fact that i managed to get the orginal installer to solve the problem.

This company is THE best. There is no reason to call anyone else. Jay and his team are thorough and meticulous in their work. Truly a great experience and I will use them exclusively for any work I need in the future!

It turned out great. I've used him once before. He replaced a dimmer switch and he also replace a light fixture out on my patio. He responded within 3 or 4 days because I had to make arrangements with my work schedule. I like Jay, he's a good electrician.

This was a great experience. I needed an electrician in a pinch. My contractor for new siding didn't mention I needed to have the electrical pulled from the wall. The electrician was able to give me a very fair price and get right out. They managed to keep my service connected through the Easter weekend so those plans were not effected. Came right back out and me reattached to the newly sided house.

They showed up on time, professional, courteous, and went right to it. Nothing more to say than excellent!!

This is the second time we've used Jay and his company and both times they were great. All the work was detailed out and they did everything they said they would do. Wouldn't use any else!

The installer was courteous and professional. He arrived on time and did what we asked...I have no complaints there. Getting the service scheduled, however, was a very different story. Multiple calls and emails went unanswered and I had to put in far too much effort to get this job done. Based on this fact, I would have a hard time hiring this group again.

He did a wonderful job on all of the electrical work and installing the panel heaters. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. We would definitely recommend him for your projects.

Jay and his crew are amazing! I can't express this enough. Most folks have never heard of a yurt and Jay was no exception =) But he took the project on with enthusiasm. He came out and figured out the best and most efficient way to help us get power to our yurt. He set a date to start and consistently followed up with me to check our timing. When the time came to get started, he and the guys were prompt, friendly, understanding and flexible. My timing kept shifting as we waited for the yurt to be raised and Jay just shifted right along with us. I couldn't have partnered with a better electrician. I'll be calling Jay for all of our projects and you'd do well to do the same.

Worked with Jay Laury and three of the employees from Positive Energy over the course of several months. They have always been professional, courteous, and reliable. They generally arrive early in the morning and work tirelessly until they leave. Pricing is reasonable and they've been able to tackle some fairly challenging wiring issues in our 1870's home. Will definitely hire them again in the future. Highly recommend.

This was a $240 big deal purchase and it was okay.

Called Jay Friday afternoon told him what my problem was and how I was afraid that if it got worse, i'd be without power with horrible cold whether coming. He told me he'd be at my house early the next morning, Saturday, a bitterly cold day. He came, he saw, he conquered. Had to come into the house a couple of times to warm up a bit, but he did everything perfect at a price that was below what I expected i'd have to pay. I can't say enough about his professionalism, the quality, the reasonable pricing. If I was gay, i'd marry him...

Jay was excellent! He showed up on time. He worked quickly and efficiently! He was very pleasant to deal with! I would no hesitate to use jay again or refer him to my friends.

They were shady and nervous for every inspection some what on time est. of 1 month took 4 months. Every single switch and outlet box had to be patched around the edges. They didn't complete this left all openings rough cut, and when asked for a complete list of all materials needed did not provide.

Everything went well, quick response and repair time, reasonable prices, and they only negative when they install in the ceiling fans that had to run electric wires and holes in the wall. And when they repaired the 6 inch holes in the walls, the patching was sub par.

They arrived a little later than we had said, but the job went smoothly and quickly, and I am very satisfied with the result.

My husband called on a Sunday morning. Jay actually answered the phone. He said he could come out that day. We lost power in half of the house and all power in the kitchen. We set him up for first thing Monday morning. Jay arrived on time . Very friendly and out going. I Explained the trouble we were having. Immediately went to work. Explained in detail his findings. Our panel had water damage from the recent weather, fried half the panel. He then check the outside lines on the house. Those were fried also. He gave me the run down on what needed to be done. Suggested getting a bigger panel now in case we wanted to add anything in the future. . As we are fairly new home owners. I had spoken to some friends on their experiences and the cost of what they had to get done, When I asked jay to speak to me in $$$. He gave me the price. I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable he was. He told me it would take approx half a day. 4 hours. I said ok when can we set this up for. Expecting him to come back another day. He said now if you can. He just needed to get go pick up a bigger panel. He came back about 40 mins later and got started. He was done in approx 4 hours and also put in 4 new outlets for me. I can say enough about this experience. Asked for several business cards will recommend him to everyone. Definitely will have him back for more projects.
