The Vicmir team are wonderful workers: quick, efficient, respectful of your home, and professional to deal with. They left our basement looking 100% cleaner and neater than when they came in. Their work is impeccable, and top-notch. We feel we got an extreme value for our money and are very happy with the new heating system and hot water heater. We would certainly call them again and we wholeheartedly recommend their services.

We were able to easily schedule an appointment, the technician arrived on time, and the work was done quickly and professionally. The boiler checked out fine and they provided us with a print-out of the performance data from the boiler check. Start to finish the whole thing took about an hour.

We hadn't had our boiler checked out in a long time and the cold hit suddenly this year, but they were able to get us an appointment within 2 days with no fuss. The service provider who came to our house was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and quick, and we had heat within an hour. He even managed to decrease the knocking noise in our radiators. Their price was half of other quotes we received. They performed the work in a timely and professional manner. The person who came to inspect the furnace commented that the job was well done.

The person who came out to give me an estimate was very professional. He explained things very well. I discussed a couple of services with them that they could provide for me. I appreciate the details of the estimate that they sent me. I would use their services in the future also.

The work was good. This is why I would recommend them in the future. My advice would be to make sure you see all of the required permits (if you want them) before they start working. Also, everyone needs to be aware that they use York units. These units have to be serviced by them after a year or the AC unit's warranty is void. I wasn't told this until after the unit was installed.

Had a heating issue (frozen pipe) that was allowing only half of the heating system to work. They confirmed the problem and told me how to fix it myself. He only wanted to charge me for gas to get to the service call. It was a chance to charge me a lot of money and they didn't. So I had them complete a boiler service since he was here. Excellent freindly FAIR service

I would be happy to recommend VicMir to anyone who is doing a gas conversion. These guys were fantastic. They provided options and recommendations and had patience to go through all the details. They told us what they were going to do. They communicated very well and I was never "in the dark" of what was going on. They set clear expectations. Then they delivered on everything that they said they were going to do. They were clean and punctual. They were respectful and sensitive to the needs of the homeowner. They were efficient and did a fantastic job. This is hard to find in today's marketplace. This is a family run business with family employees. I made a decision on them based on the Angies list ratings and found it to be 100% accurate. They were not the low bidder on this piece of work, but had the best reputation. Ultimately that is more important to me. I want to know that they will be there and not just sub work out like other contractors. They have already demonstrated to me that they stand by their work. Again - I was very pleased and would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

From making the appointment to showing up on time, to cleaning up afterward, this company was responsive, thorough and pleasant to deal with. I'd recommend VicMir without hesitation.

VicMir accomodated my same day request for service and did a thorough examination of the system. he ran a little late but called to let me know and apologized for running later than scheduled appointment time. Would definitely recommend and will call again for any other problems.

I've used VicMir before for heating. They converted my oil system to gas and upgraded our hot water heater to an efficient indirect system. They did an outstanding job. I wish I had "before and after" photos. My old AC system was a disaster, and was installed two owners before us in the 70's, and I don't think it ever worked. Vic and his guys redesigned and installed a whole new, very efficient system and removed all the old ductwork, gaining us probably another 300 sq. ft. of storage space in our attic! Vic Sr. and jr. are true professionals, and everybody they send over are equally professional. VicMir is a great family run business that treats their customers right. Any time we've had an issue with anything in the HVAC realm, they come over right away and address it. Since we've upgraded all our systems with VicMir, we are saving $250-$300 per month in energy costs. Needless to say we are very satisfied with this company.

I called this man for a quote and he came by the house to check things out. Told me something different than another repair man said and told me it would be $350 to fix. I told him I needed to call him back to set it up (as I wanted another opinion) and he started yelling at me and telling him I was "dicking him around." I told him I honestly just wanted a 2nd opinion and if it matched I'd call him back for the service and he started yelling more at me so I hung up. He might have known what he was doing but he also said it wouldn't work with a certain part when it worked fine all last year. I don't trust him. Nor did I want to be yelled at. Don't call this man.

My furnace wouldn't start up completely when instructed to by a thermostat. I thought it was an ignition problem, but Vic diagnosed the problem to be a secondary fan which had become warped and couldn't get up to speed. Vic didn't have a replacement part on hand, but he made a temporary repair and then came back the next day with the replacement part. The price was reasonable. When Vic first arrived to diagnose the problem, my power had gone out for unknown reasons. I was impressed that Vic was willing to try and diagnose the problem without power and willing to wait for it to come back on (which it did, about 15 minutes later).

The crew was on time, well organized, and very professional.

A few years ago, Vic replaced my heating system. At the time, I didn't know anything about heating systems and had several vendors provide estimates. I chose Vic and Sons because they offered several options, patiently answered any and all questions. Most importantly, they gave me the sense they stood by their work and would take care of me as a long term customer. I've been very satisfied with my furnace, and have it maintained by Vic annually. They even know me when I call! I would highly recommend this company.
