It's very, very good. It's way better than regular cable. We've had them for a long time now and they are excellent! We had a snowstorm that knocked out cable television and the only ones that had the TV were people that had Verizon. A lot of people that had cable changed over to Verizon for that fact.

After about a month of phone calls my wife finally got a Verizon rep on the phone that had a genuine concern for what we were going through. she spent almost an hour on the phone with my wife combing through their system to get a tracking number for my wife.... Finally!!! it was found and when they tracked them they were received by VERIZON on May 9th 2013... Two months prior to these phone calls... I am sure I am not the only one that has gone through this so my advise is for one DO NOT use Verizon but if you do and you plan on discontinuing service with them just do yourself a favor and bring your equipment to a local service center... which surprisingly there isn't too many of them but FIND ONE and get a receipt!! Not only did the bill seem to go up every month they seemed to be very bitter about discontinuing service and was unwilling to help resolve the problem that THEY created... the wire has been cut off my house and they will never be used ever again!!
Description of Work: After two years of using them my wife was not happy with the constant rising bill. I was happy with the quality of the TV and internet. The problems started when we discontinued the service they sent us pre-paid shipping labels and boxes to send the equipment back to them. after two months we received a bill for $1,100.00 saying we have not returned this equipment to them and was starting to be harassed by a collection agency that was as rude as could be threating us that this will be reported to our credit reports which my wife and I have EXCELLENT credit so this was very concerning to us. The customer service reps... or the lack of customer service reps at Verizon were not interested in helping us. we asked them for a tracking number from their shipping labels and they said "That is your responsibility to get a tracking number" even though the labels were sent by them.

The fellow who did the installation was superb. I have a special offer plus $300 credit card after I pay my bills for three months. It is fast internet and the TV is good; but if I want an extra box then I have to rent and pay extra money. The young man who did the work was great. He did everything the way I wanted. He set up the whole service board in the basement.
Description of Work: I use Verizon Fios for cable, internet and phone service. I have a bundled package. They came out for the installation.

It's a month-to-month contract with them, they are pretty good, I like that they have a very good HD television package.

It's a cable company. Installation was free. I got my first bill and that was pro-rated. They started off with giving me a pretty big window of time that they would arrive at. It was 8 am to 12 pm which was a little inconvenient. I had to take off that whole morning and make sure I was available. They finally arrived at 9 and they finished up right at 12.30. It took several hours. I don't know if that's just how long that job takes or it was just that the service guy was new. It did seem pretty long and inconvenient, but it's a onetime thing so you deal with it.
Description of Work: I got Verizon Fios installed in February. They connected cable, Internet, and a landline. It was one DVR box in the main room and an adaptor in the side room.

Since the time the services were installed, this has been a reliable company. The equipment is not always so great, and the company has been responsive in offering fixes and replacement equipment. Billing issues arise regularly, as with many public services. the company is usually willing to adjust the bills when the request is reasonable (if I do say so myself). With the current competitve environment, they seem even more willing to do so.
