I searched and found this company on Angie's List. The agent's name listed in Angie's for this company is actually Vincent's wife, Geri. I contacted Geri by email, explaining to her our situation. The property was my parent's home. My dad passed, leaving my elderly mom alone. Mom needed to move to live with us. The situation was that the house was very cluttered with odds and ends and memories of 40 plus years gone by. Geri referred us to Vincent because his expertise was more along the lines of what we needed to prepare our home for listing. Vincent was more than happy to help with whatever we needed and was able to assist and provide guidance to us with the entire procedure. Time being short, we needed to return home within 2 weeks, Vincent listed home and had open house the first weekend. This open house brought in the family who did buy our home. Vincent also helped us along throughout the closing process providing explanations and recommendations along the way. All-in-all, I can tell you that this company was truly, exactly what we needed. They provided guidance, assistance, compassion, understanding, professionalism, sincerity and the most important end result being, our home was sold timely and for fair price. If you don't want to read this long post, let me just say from the outset that Geri Santagata is simply the best real estate agent I have ever worked with in my 30+ years of owning and selling houses. As mentioned by several of the other reviews, I think that Geri's two strongest virtues are that she is incredible at helping you stage a home prior to putting it on the market (she has an interior design background) and she is highly skilled at the art of negotiations. Add to this her vast experience and strong knowledge of the marketplace, and she is loyal, reliable and the nicest person to deal with. Communication and follow-through with her are excellent. Please be assured that I was a total stranger to her prior to working with her on the sale of my 3-bedroom East Greenwich home in 2005, and the subsequent purchase of my 4-bedroom colonial home in East Greenwich shortly thereafter. My only connection to her is through real estate dealings. The 3-bedroom home I mention above sold on the first day it was on the market for full price, which was a very good price. I attribute this to the wonderful staging that Geri did. Two weeks ago, I listed the 3rd home that I will be selling with her help (the 4 bed colonial), and all three times I barely recognized the home after Geri was done staging. The homes were transformed. In the end, pretty much right out of Architectural Digest! I continue to be amazed at the difference that professional staging makes. Of course, with Geri. . . this is just all part of what she offers as part of listing the home for you. In fact, over the past 6+ years of owning the 4 bed home I am now listing, I did considerable renovations. And I never did anything without first consulting Geri for advice, which she always generously and freely provided, including frequently coming over to the house to consider possible scenarios and discuss them with me. All this, because she knew that when it came time to selling the house, I'd be having her represent me. The other house Geri sold for me was a very, high-end investment property on the East Side. She never missed a beat, and the sale of that home went smoothly and rather quickly considering the slow-down in the market at that time, and the high price that the house eventually brought. So I can only recommend Geri most highly, and without the slightest hesitation. The market analysis she provides is thorough and informative and arriving at a selling price is done collaboratively. I have never felt that Geri had anything but my best interests in mind, whether representing me as a seller or as a buyer. You may be really fortunate and find someone else who is close to as good as Geri, but you will never find anyone better. P.S. - Geri charges the standard percentage fee, but Angie's List would not accept a percentage, so it came out as $0.

The process had a great outcome. I purchased a house that was just perfect for me at a very good price, and thanks to Geri's formidable negotiation skills I even got some important concessions after signing the purchase and sale agreement but before the closing. I can't say enough good things about Geri. I would use her again without question and have already recommended her to several colleagues and friends.

My husband and I had to relocate from RI to Mass due to his job. It was time sensitive. We felt bittersweet about selling our home because we were very settled into the neighborhood. We had a list of RI Realtors to interview. So the process began. We met a lot of "razzle-dazzle" realtors in designer suits and flashy white smiles. They promised that we would get full price for our home or maybe more. Somehow, we always felt a pit in our stomachs when they left. Feeling disenchanted and unimpressed we were onto our last and final interview with Geri Santagata from Century 21 in East Greenwich, RI. Geri changed out minds about realtors. She is the most knowledgeable and professional realtor we have had contact with. For our appointment she had a complete market analysis of the whole neighborhood on what sold what did not. She was very sincere and wanted to make sure our home was positioned well in this competitive market. We felt so confident in her that we both agreed that day to give her our listing. It was the best decision. She was a team player all the way through. We could call anytime on her cell phone and she would find the answer or reassure us. Our open houses looked like a display in Pottery Barn. And we did not have to buy anything new! She has such a flare for design. She confessed that she was an interior designer before she was a realtor. Boy, was she right! Our home sold very quickly because of Geri. Not only are her decorating tips to die for, but so are her negotiation skills! In fact, we asked her to be our realtor in Mass since she is licensed in both states! She did not disappoint us in fact she exceeded our expectations again (if that was possible!) She did research and found the two best neighborhoods for us! We just closed on our house and we owe all it all to Geri. She made everything so seamless and because she is so seasoned in her business everything falls into palce. If you are looking for successful results in either buying or selling, than Geri must be your realtor!
