ORKIN EXTERMINATING CO INC

They have been very good. We are really pleased with them. A couple of our neighbors too are going to use them. So far, they have come out. They very much guarantee the work. They are very pleasant and very informative. We are pleased with the lack of bugs in our house.

The call to Orkin started off well I put my information in online and received a call back less than a minute later. However the call comes from a main branch in the south and Orkin is a franchise, the call center quoted me $180.00 for a one time service of putting down bait,glue traps and finding any holes where mice could get in and covering them up. Two gentlemen showed up later that afternoon,when I opened the door the technicians never supplied their names just said I don't know why I'm here what's the problem. I thought that was kind of rude and unprofessional but over looked it, they came in put in 4 bait traps and 1 glue board-that's it. As he took out the paperwork for me to sign I noticed it said that they would be coming back every 3 months at $105.00 each time, I informed him that this was a mistake I only agreed to a one time service for mice I had no other issues in my home. At this point he became irate and started swearing about how tired he was of the miscommunications and that the call center were all a bunch of ***holes. I refused to pay the $295.00 that he said they usually charge for a one time service request as I felt that was a ridiculous price for 4 bait traps and 10 minutes of their time. At this point he demanded my credit card and started swearing again when I told him I had already provided it to the call center and would not be billed twice.Brian (who's name I found out by hearing him tell someone on the phone) then acted like he was doing me a big favor by having me sign the paperwork for a one time call at the price that was quoted to me and slammed out of the house. I tried contacting their customer service to put in a complaint however the phone system keeps you in an automated loop and then hangs up on you.

THEY DO AN AVERAGE JOB. SOME OF THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE COME OUT HAVE BEEN HELPFUL AND OTHERS WERE SOMETIMES NOT SO HELPFUL. I WOULD PROBABLY RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.
