Wonderful, expert and efficient service! Shayne and his partner were pros and provided clear communication about their work and process. They shared a report while on site for any questions and took the time to explain possible upgrades, but never made me feel pressured. I will definitely use NE SteamWorks again and highly recommend !

The team was very knowledgeable and helpful. In addition to fixing some issues with our 22-year-old boiler, they installed a main vent to help with efficiency, replaced the clogged pigtail, and fixed a leaky radiator. Already I’ve noticed how much quieter the heat is (no more hissing and whistling first thing in the morning!). There was a long wait to get them out but worth it.

We've been working with New England Steamworks for the past three years. They're very busy, so it takes time to get an appointment, but they do great work. Their rate went up slightly this year, but their work is worth it.

The interactions with the company were just bizarre. I ended up on a months long wait list after detailing what I needed, then got e-mail when it was time to have an appointment for what sounded like different service. I asked to cancel that, and it took multiple rounds of email with a progressively more angry owner to cancel. The claim that they are the best was made many times, and I really hope the quality of their work supports that, but I didn't find their business practices are not something I could tolerate. The final interaction was quite unpleasant, I had hoped to cancel and move on with a neutral relationship, but they had Ryan had other goals. "you are being extraordinary disingenuous. How on earth would it matter if one room or 3 were not heating? Or none at all? Or six? The fact remains: you have (had) problems and we fix them. We do so by showing up. You have denied us that opportunity, yet want to cast aspersions in our direction." It mattered to me that my room wasn't heating all winter, but not to him.

Hired New England SteamWorks to replace old steam boiler/partial hot water loop, I spent a significant amount of time researching alternatives. Ryan from New England SteamWorks provided a lot of information about the positive attributes of steam heat. The key is having it installed correctly, He was very responsive to questions. The installation showed exceptional attention to detail. Key is to produce steam efficiently. Original piping for steam did not contemplate frequent on/off cycling of today's boilers. Requires venting to be added. New header was installed, Hartford loop installed, Hot water loop installed.. Space was fairly tight. New piping was all custom on site. Everything was left neat and clean, Even the plumbing Inspector was impressed.

Ryan (owner) has detailed knowledge of how steam systems work and how to design and maintain a system to work optimally. Very professional installation and ongoing service.
