They arrived early and called me when they got there. My husband arrived shortly after. When I inquired about the job I gave them the measurement of my deck as well as pictures. I had stain on one part of the deck that was old and faded and 2 sections were redone and had no stain on them. Also wanted railings and spindles done. They gave me a price of $484 which I agreed to I also sent them a picture of the stain I wanted applied instead of the clear stain advertised. They said would give me cost when they got there. Melvin quoted $600 to apply my stain to the deck to which I replied No thank you. As his quoted price included clear stain applied I asked his how much he was going to take off and he brought the cost down $100.00, Why such a big difference in price?? My husband gave them payment. They were there about 1 1/2 hours. When I arrived home I discovered that the parts of the deck that had no stain looked good but the section with the stain was almost the same! They did the top railing but the spindles were not touched! I was going to restain the deck grey so he told my husband it would not show! The railings I was changing to white. I called him to complain and he told me it would have cost more to do a better job! I asked him how he would have put clear coat over the gray if he didn't get it clean? He kept replying that he had to make money and he did his job. I told him I was not happy and he wither came back or I would cancel check and he hung up on me. He didn't care as he already had cashed the check.

It went poorly. The day before the date of service, i received a phone message stating i need to provide bags for the Debbi, This was not mentioned on the deal summary or when i schedule the service Further no estimated time of arrival was disclosed .On the day In question, I called to find out the time the workers would arrive. I spoke to the owner Melvin, who stated between 10-12pm. He asked that I send him a photo of my yard. I did. He asked me wanted to cancel my appointment, as if he was encouraging me to. I said no, i waited over 2 weeks and took off a day from work. Around 9am I received a incoherent message about having some issue and I would be contacted. I called to get clarification, my calls were directed straight to voicemail. This persisted until after 12pm. I never received a return call nor any explanation from the owner. Melvin. I took the entire day off from work for nothing. This company lacks professionalism. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Buyer beware!

I have used Melvin's twice and both times they did an excellent job. The supervisor was extrememly responsive, courteous and made sure everything was done to a high standard. The second time we used them was from an Angie's list coupon we saw for window cleaning and as they were finishing up, I asked for a "ball park" quote to replace all gutters and downspouts on our home. Gave me a very good price and it took about 30 seconds after he'd already reviewed the property. Definitely use them again and will be using them to have new gutters installed.

Things were handled very well. The workers showed up when scheduled and cleaned up when they were finished. The owner actually came back to check on the progress.

Melvin is on time, very professional and did an excellent, careful job of our gutter and siding. Living next to the ocean we had a decent buildup of mold on siding and it’s conpletely gone. Will definitely use Melvin again for next years services!

First, I had them clean the gutters. Then, they did such a good job, I had them come back and repair/realign them. During the site visit/eval, Melvin immediately recognized the house and new exactly what work should be done now and what could be held off on or was unnecessary. While they were repairing, I asked him to take a look at the chimney flashing, and they immediately took added it to the list and fixed it, which had been an ongoing problem. They even showed me pictures of the chimney before and after, since I obviously wasn't able to get on the roof myself. Melvin also gave me opinions on the roof (which he said I didn't have to worry about, saving me a LOT of money) and other projects that I may want to put on my radar or think about down the line. I mean, literally the best it could have gone.

I bought the deal through Angie's List, the deck stairs were not included (but that was known in advance) and adding them was reasonably priced. Melvin's team set two appointments, one to power wash and the other to sand/seal. They were prompt to both and the work they did was excellent. The deck looked like it had just been built when they were done with it. Much appreciated!

The were punctual to the minute. Cleared the deck and steam cleaned same. Returned two days later and painted the deck, railing and stairs.
