Description of Work: Before purchasing, I had a question about the offer. Called you and your rep called Melvin. I was told he didn't understand the question, and the deal would be fine. Got a nice email from Melvin's Power Wash when I ordered. Again I asked the question. No response. But I decided to go ahead anyway. Booked the time. Was asked for and gave my phone number in case there were any issues. Came home from work in time for 1 PM appt. No Melvin. Waited 1/2 an hour, then called his office number and left a message. Waited another hour, then called you to find out options. Waited until 4:30, then received a call back from Melvin's office saying he had been to my house prior to 1 PM, saw that I had more gutters than were part of the offer (which is what I had asked about - why did the offer state "side gutters extra" when the name of it was "whole house gutter cleaning"), and it would be $199 instead of $99. He had supposedly left a note in my mailbox (which wasn't there), but never called to let me know he had been there. I waited all afternoon when I could have been at work. The woman who called to follow up was nice and offered to reschedule and/or do the entire house for the $99, but I would rather not proceed with the service. He may do a wonderful job with the gutters, but the communication issues left me uneasy. And the offer should be made clear for future users.

Description of Work: Melvin did a great job cleaning the gutters. He also had a remedy for moss on brick removal, which is a big problem here. I only had an issue with how the deal was advertised. It was confusing. The add listed $99 for UNLIMITED LINEAR FEET OF GUTTER OR DOWNSPOUT CLEANING, more than TWO SETS OF GUTTERS will require an additional fee. Since my gutters were connected all around the house, I did not think I had 2 sets. |Melvin said the ad was for front/back only. I also have a detached garage with gutters, so for an extra $65.00, he did all 4 sides of my house and the garage gutters. Though I was not thrilled to be paying more than the Angies List offer, the extra charge was reasonable for the work done. |I noticed he re-worded his next offer. |Here's the NEW Deal: |$99 for a whole house gutter cleaning. Gutter cleaning for walkable roofline (gutters on front and back of home only-not valid for sides of homes). Sides of homes can be cleaned at an additional cost. Deal does not include detached garages

Description of Work: They power washed the deck and then Melvin came back a week later to stain the deck.

Description of Work: I have used Melvin's Power Wash a couple of times, they have washed my windows and power washed my house and they always do a great job. They're prompt, polite, and professional, and very reasonable. I will continue to take advantage of all deals by Melvin.

Description of Work: They tried to charge me $200 for a job they quoted at $125. They came when I was not here although we had scheduled an appointment when I would be here. They left me a bill with an address so I mailed the payment to that address--it was returned as undeliverable. I have now spent several days trying to call them to get a valid address and the phone is always busy. They did the work so I would like to pay them--I am at a loss.
